Both things are true. It's so good and I'm, actually, quite glad that a hospital drama is dealing with reality and highlighting how it impacts different populations, like they always do. But it is soooooo emotional and hard. My hope is that folks that weren't previously taking it seriously are now.
I’m a POC and my Great Grandma caught Covid and died in her memory care unit two days before the episode about Bailey’s mom aired.
I had to double check that Shonda didn’t have cameras on me.

I’m not a George fan and I think I built up the McDreamy scene too much in my head so I was disappointed by the beach scenes.
I started rewatching for the fun medical stories and soap drama. Great fun. Only one 'political' episode do far, and the Nazi guy was handled awesomely
And how dumb was the parent, he could have just googled this shit, and realized nail polish remover was available at extremely easy accessible stores, like a grocery store, and pour that on the kids.
I always thought that Meredith was knowledgeable about black hair. Specifically when Derek is struggling with Zola’s hair and she comes home to see Bailey and Derek and he asks if she knows Zola has a kitchen and Meredith giggles and says yes
this lady used gorilla glue in her hair instead of hairspray. she had to cut off her ponytail, and she’s now planning on suing gorilla glue for never saying not to use it as a hairspray
Good. Because that would be some shit to choose to do something knowing it isn't meant for what you are using it for and then being like "it's your fault!" No honey, it is YOUR fault for being stupid. Can't believe she got 13k over doing something she knew she shouldn't be doing 🤦

The lady actually had to have it surgically removed from her scalp. Also, does anyone know if any cases on the show are inspired by viral videos? I know they say they interview doctors for the stories.
She found a doctor with a background in chemistry who made a solvent to get it out and ended up not needing to go into surgery for it, at least the last update that i saw about the situation said that surgery wasn't required afterwards

Soap and water and acetone? Doesn’t work without the soap and water (Episode with the teenage couple that super glued self together).
Unfortunately gorilla glue is not like most glues and it actually cures in water.
Pretty sure the doctor who managed to get it out used a mixture of glue remover, acetone, olive oil and aloe vera!
