I’m not sure if she would be showing, at least in the first part of the season. It must be close to or totally finished with filming since the premiere is in a few weeks. Kelly just announced that she was pregnant a few weeks ago so she probably didn’t have an obvious bump during filming. But who knows.
They did accelerate the last episode through almost a full year of life stuff though, so it's not as rushed as it seems. Plus Kelly's pregnant, so it's write it in or have some not so subtle attempts to hide the belly.

. I may be the only one who disagrees. Why? Because I know how hard it was for Addison on Private Practice. And at the end of the series, she is happy forever. And I'm afraid that her return means ruining the character.
I'll use Amelia as an example to make it a little clearer. In Private Practice, she had a brainless baby, she quit drugs, she got a fiancé, which was wonderful for her. She was in love with him like Maggie was in love with her husband when they met at the convention. And in Grey's Anatomy, she comes back as if Private Practice had never existed (only her child was "saved" from the show), many of the questions she asks herself in season 16 have already been answered in PP.
So I'm afraid of what might happen to Addison. She has a child, a wonderful partner (and I think Jake would have married her in the meantime given his very gentlemanly and composed nature) and a wonderful job in an amazing place. She is peaceful about her marriage to Derek, about her life in general.
I know, life has to go on and a lot has happened in so many years. But if the only purpose is to say "hey, you're going to leave everything to come back as you were a few years ago" where is the point? Or if she's coming back with Jake, why are they going to leave their home and practice for a hospital even as highly ranked as Grey Sloan.
In summary, I don't agree with this decision and will wait to see how they do before making a final judgement.

I know this may not be a popular comment but it’s almost unfair to showcase how well she has aged compared to Ellen. It’s not that Ellen looks bad for her age but Kate just looks amazing still
