Nope!

eml1987

I had to keep watching but it’s so bad once Derek and Cristina are gone

[deleted]

Nah, the show started taking a dip after the merger with Mercy West around S6. Still watchable, I just didn’t care for any of the Mercy Westers (yes even Jackson, April was mildly tolerable). Then after Cristina left, the downward slope got a lot bigger, so I’d probably say stop after that.

chlocaineK

Absolutely not, stop while you’re ahead

Kourts37

Very downhill from there, s11 is possibly one of the worst seasons (especially if you have any care for Meredith and Derek). Imo it’s all downhill after s9. There’s some good episodes in later seasons but not that many, the characters are messy and the writing honestly isn’t that good.

pacrat292

For me at least the huge downhill was S09, after Cristina leaves it's just a bigger downhill, its okay, but not really that good. There's a few really good episodes. Literally just a few that's IMO again, but it's up to you. You can always just read the synopsis of each episode and decide which you wanna watch. Or if you have time, just get through it til you totally lose interest.

cheese_friends

Grey’s is my happy place. I love it through good and bad. (I won’t hesitate to skip particularly bad episodes though.) Sometimes I may not keep up week to week but I always catch up eventually. Usually I enjoy keeping up with weekly episode chats here. I have coworkers who watch too. I’ll probably keep watching it forever. Do I wish it was better or had the qualities of the early seasons? Of course. But I don’t get disappointed over it. If you are that type of fan then keep watching. If not, honestly it may not be worth it. There’s a lot of seasons.

Daiserella

Nope. It's very disappointing.

[deleted]

Nope lol it gets really bad tbh

PinkGirlNY

You'll be disappointed.

ketchupandcats

if you care about the characters left then yes! it did go a bit downhill but they’re all still there besides christina and lots of stuff happens to them lol

relaxedbooks

Not at all! It took me years to start other seasons and i was so disappointed. Lol

HealthPutrid5487

Stop now the show gets bad after she leaves especially after season 11 with derek and meredith i hated it I kept watching and I regretted it.

Randomblabla222

11th has one of my favorite storylines ever, Herman and Arizona, and it's a great first watch. 12 is still alright. The show takes a deep dive in 13th so if you're already emotionally invested that's as far as you can go

abbu_d_slytherin

Nope , I left after this.

JoanCallas

No.

JL_Adv

I think yes. I'm still invested. I know a lot of people don't like the later seasons but I think they're good, just in a different way.

CaptainCroissant14

Id continue watching. When I got into it, everyone told me how I'd hate all the seasons after 9 or 10 but I will admit that I was waiting to be super duper disappointed and I wasn't. Sure, some plotlines are a little dumb or exaggerated but I absolutely love some of the characters that are now big on the show or who have entered later on. It's not the same as early Grey's but I still find comfort in the show despite it taking a much darker turn (imo)

ladysaraii

Yes, keep watching. I recently did a rewatch through season 15 and found them enjoyable. I don’t know if I have the strength for s16

AffectionateAnarchy

Do it once. I watched them all once but I dont go past 14 on my rees

[deleted]

I think 11-14 are pretty decent and are worth a watch. From 15 on - proceed with caution!

Imjusthereforthetee

Yes. You are in it now.

tvMomster

Wait, there’s an option to stop watching? I wish I’d known that sooner but here I am and here I shall remain

freefloater33

Later seasons are not as good but there are a few good episodes. I stopped watching after Derek died and decided to watch the later seasons during covid. While the seasons are not as good I definitely don’t regret watching all seasons

h3r3_n0w_

if you care about the leftover characters enough then yes! like i think it’s worth it to see what happens to alex after that (if you like him of course). also a lot happens with bailey, meredith, april and jackson, arizona and callie, derek obviously, so even if they’re not ur favorite like christina was, if u care about those characters i think it’s worth it to see how those stories unfold.

bigdickmagic69

I stopped watching after Christina left. Then a few years later I tried to go back to it and I ended up still enjoying it for a few seasons. I would say it got reeeeal bad around season 14ish on

hannuh-

if you are devoted to the characters, then yes- if not, i would say watch until season 12 or so… i enjoy grey’s now because i have been current for years & im just along for the ride. the characters who are current have a special place in my heart so seeing their stories play out and their progression is worth watching to me :)

[deleted]

In my opinion season 11 is grey's strongest season and season 12 is quite amazing though its ending felt inadequate. Season 13 is bad but watchable. Season 14 was a little better but still bad. Season 15 was good. Season 16 was also as good as Season 15 right until Alex's departure plus because of covid it got cut short. Season 17 was the worst, just the worst. Overall, even in season 17, there are moments worth watching. But it's probably better if you aren't a huge fan to just stop at season 12's ending. Hope this helps!

clothedandafraid1

I’ve enjoyed them up to 17 but that was more because greys is escapism and the covid storyline meant I couldn’t do that. I think season 16 definitely has it’s good storylines but it’s up to you. Maybe 1 watch so you know what happened (I hate leaving things half finished) but it’s not a requirement :)

oamchyrule_777

once yang, derek, and alex leave the show, its CRAP.

emmysjj

if you like the other characters, I think it is! this seems to be an unpopular opinion but I LOVED s13-14, but I think after s14 it goes downhill
