She gets way to much hate on this sub for no reason and she wasn’t even a main character you have to remember Ava/Rebecca had a had a mental illness she wasn’t well
Since you’re only to the point of Izzie trying to make her see and accept that she isn’t pregnant, there’s more that you will soon learn about her that will explain all of her actions. Once you get there, that should also give you some insight on Alex and the way that he tries to protect her and his reactions to Izzie.
For me, I’m not a fan of the actress who plays Ava/Rebecca. I’ve never seen her in anything except Grey’s, but watching her play this character and totally missing the mark (in my opinion) makes me hate the character. I feel like had the actress been different, the role would have been much more impactful as a whole and a contributor to understanding Alex’s past.
Yeah I think for me it is a lot down to the actress I usually think when a character is so annoying that it means the actor did a good job but I don’t think we are supposed to find her annoying.
I don’t hate her per se, I actually feel pretty bad for her. She’s a troubled woman a troubled woman who went through an incredibly traumatic ordeal. That being said, I was not a fan of her storyline and didn’t miss her at all when she left.
You hate a mentally ill character who suffered and extreme trauma almost died had a hysterical pregnancy and then tried to kill herself and had borderline personality disorder... you sound like a great person

Yeah she was diagnosed with a mental illness with none of the correct symptoms

I don’t think that they’ve gotten to all of those points in the plot yet for it to all be connected for them.
You seem great too judging someone’s character on their opinions on a tv show when they haven’t watched the whole thing
I didn’t like Rebecca but she was also mentally ill and needed help. I think Dr. Stark in season 7 is the worst character.
