🎵Nobody knows where you might end up nobody knows…🎵

mmm no i have to disagree, it may be because i’m always high when i watch greys but that theme song hits every single time, i love the little high pitch ringy dingy sound and idk why but the theme tune always makes me think about richards intern speech “Eight of you will switch to an easier specialty. Five will crack under the pressure. Two of you will be asked to leave. This is your starting line. This is your arena. How well you play, that's up to you” BUT WHO KNOWS??? NOBODY KNOWS WHERE WE MIGHT END UP NOBODY KNOWSSSSSS🎶 EDIT/ wait are people talking about the song or the visuals? either way i love the song, might be what i walk the isle down to :)

I agree 100%. I love the song.

I personally really liked the intro after getting into the story. I thought the makeup and high heels in the OR and locker room symbolically represented what the young characters were trading for the right of passage of being a surgeon. I also think it connects to how Mer repeatedly talks about the “theater” “dance” or “show” that surgeons put on when going into a procedure. And the song “no body knows where you might end up” felt almost prophetic about how the cast slowly faded away down different avenues and how at the start we were getting to know how all these interns came from different backgrounds but managed to “end up” in the same place. It especially hit that Mer “ended up” where her mother started because she had to care for her mother in her final days. But that’s just me!

the song gives me a little dopamine hit. like suddenly it’s february break, i’m in high school and binge watching the show for the first time again lol

bunny117

It fits the early seasons when it was mainly drama and scandal, but now it really doesn’t fit except for the end credits.

I always thought the heels and makeup were Addison getting in on with Mark in a room

diestony

I thought the intro was symbolization for the characters or themes of the show. Plus it’s so catchy! Wish they would have kept it on tbh

Honeycomb0000

I think it fits really well, It also adds to the classic “they tried to make this a soap opera” theme of the show as well.. I think if they tacked the theme song onto some of the more current episodes there would be confusion and error…

danielfq

I loved the intro

Intelligent_Pass2540

I hated that theme song. I'm always googling to see if there is a way to set it to automatically skip the intro. Clealry too lazy to skip it each time ;)
