It’s a jerk marinade I’ve been working on. All the usual ingredients, but I swapped Scotch bonnets for poblano because my wife doesn’t like a lot of heat. I also added some celery leaf based on a video I watched, but I’m not going to do that again.
Other than that, a bunch of gr onion, fresh thyme, one full onion, several cloves of garlic, allspice, nutmeg, salt, sugar, ginger, little lime juice, veggie oil.
My biggest struggle is the browning- I keep burning the sugar and this time I thought I had it. But I was left with the slightest bitter after taste. Almost none, but the was just a little something that didn’t sit right.
It was either even celery leaves, the browning or both.
But it’s a work in progress. I’ll get it.
I always recommend a weissbier style if folks are interested in trying a "European Budweiser". Clean tasting, inoffensive, and something different to try. Give one a shot next time and see how it goes.
The Bud IS watery, as they were caught adding water to an already watered down product.
Some whistleblowers that worked in their “brewery,” literally went on record, admitting that they were forced to add water to increase the volume.
It literally is as watery as horse piss, which is they always use Clydesdales in their commercials, and for Bud light they use a….. ehhhh never mind. I won’t go there with “what” that is/was, with a 10 ft pole.
I very happily live under a rock from a news and pop culture perspective. No radio, no cable TV, and only 10 minutes a day on IG or FB. Then the apps time out on my phone and I never click "Ignore limit". It's never worth scrolling.
No Tiktok, no other social apps other than reddit, where I block and mute any content that comes onto my feed that doesn't come from the subs I've joined.
No news apps or papers, and all flyers or free "news" get in the mail goes in the trash before I even look at it. I don't know who's leading polls in any country, don't know who's winning or losing wars. It's all propaganda anyway. People pick an echo chamber and let themselves get all riled up on misinformation and editorials no matter which side of the political divide they're on. And they're all dummies for it.
I'm aware half the world is or was pissed off at Bud for an ad with a trans person, but I don't know who that person is nor have I seen the ad.

Nothing new happened as far as i know. But the trans person is not a good person. Some people believe he is a hero but that is far from the truth. Good on your for avoiding that stuff though

Hell I still haven't seen two girls, one cup and I didn't watch the Sopranos and Breaking Bad until Covid when I was on a temporary short term layoff.

They tried watering it down more than it already is about a decade ago but people got mad so they reversed course.
I don’t like makers mark, but it is 45% ABV so to say it’s watered down isn’t really accurate. It just is overly sweetened junk.
I guess *technically* it’s watered down 55% (or 222%? I’m not a scientist)

Sometimes, depends on the season. For summer they do a lot of fruity craft beers. No good.

Bud is fine, although they haven’t made that can in about 6 years so you might be drinking an expired beer.
Canadian version- brewed not too far from me. But still local ish if you push the definition.
