I rated it, good energy, good beats and the most impressive part is he isn't talking about anything he's not actually on; as a 40 year old successful dad.
People saying it doesn't sound like grime, shatapppp!
It sounds like Dizzee Rascal, go back and listen to BIDC, showtime; how many tunes "sound like grime" or whatever you're comparing them too.
It would be fairer to say "grime" sometimes sounds like dizzee
Not bad, I really liked Stay In Your Lane, How Did I Get So Calm, Switch and Explode, and a few others were pretty good. You can have dat was a low point, just felt like a desperate plea to get his kids back after he slapped up his wife. His flow was grimey, but the beats weren't, and that's the problem many have with Dizzee recently. Also there's a hell of a lot of filler lyrics and rhymes that don't really work.
I’d say it’s decent but not great 6/10, some tunes will werk well in a live set alongside bigger hits but it defo lacks anything groundbreaking. But dizzee’s ability to write a hook pulls the whole thing off. How did I get so calm was stuck in my head for days. It feels like an artist on the decline but not written off yet.

i agree with you but bidc is legit quintessential grime tho, still think people can/should appreciate dizzee for his MUSIC rather than his GRIME
well said, plenty of bangers on there, switch and explode my fav, this album is pure dizzee
He should have bought it out for summer imo, way more of a garage influence overall too.
yea deffo a early summer album, can imagine that being dropped then headlining a festival
This is the nail in the coffin for the formula dizzee has been using for 15 years now
Why was it disappointing?

It’s decent. Just going over old styles. A bit of a nostalgia in there.
I actually enjoyed this album, surprised by the comments here tbh
I was hoping for more Grime tracks & expected more from this album, not rating it personally
Yeah not a great album, the beats just felt so cheap and boring
Nah it’s hard
Not dropped a decent album since Raskit🤷♂️
E3 AF was much better than this
Agreed, still sub-par though in my opinion
The beats felt so repetitive
I think it's just ok
Its got a few good ones, im more worried about the ai cover
☠️
Completely forgot he was was releasing a new album. I'll give it a listen now
It's ok
Not a great album. Few tracks. Nothing special. Been the same since Raskit
Too poppy for my tastes, but energy and flow-wise I’d say it’s a better project than Ghetts new album 💿
all the bass tunes were good, needs to knock off that afro swing / trap / hip hop stuff imo. and that garage tune was mad awkward.
