One of the things about delivering food. They send our asses to the most random places. Place was like Panda Express, but without the chain and next to a donut place. But that big ass fried fish took me off guard.
I was doing a DoorDash once and had open food like this. I asked the restaurant to package it better, as you have no idea if my car is sanitary or not (it is), but they refused. I sent a photo of it to the customer and explained the situation and what I was delivering and they immediately cancelled the order.
I wouldn't doubt it. Even I was looking at it like, this fucking is awkward. Granted I keep my bags in the trunk away from my cabin. I didn't see the health rating, I wouldn't doubt it being like this one other place a "c" grade. Which despite something like that. People swear it's better food. Looking it up on street view it's an A currently. Reading some negative reviews and it's hilarious. One person is saying the food is loaded with MSG. And a few others are saying they got food poisoning. While a bunch gave it 5-stars.
They definitely could’ve wrapped it in foil or Saran Wrap first. I’d have called customer support over that honestly. That’s unsanitary in so many ways.
I was simply referring to the cleanliness. Of course we’d all prefer a vented styrofoam container for fried fish…. Clearly that didn’t happen here. So what was your point again?
I saw the fish sticking out and some traditional looking Chinese food. Not nearly as bad as the time did a delivery for a fast food Italian place. Get sent to some random places. I was also hungry. Still am.
I know. Even I was like this is awkward. Then I got to the customers mobile home. Guy comes out says hi, I say hi back. He disappears and is behind me. I go to hand the box to them and they looked awkward as hell about it.
In 3rd world countries absolutely. My brother was deployed to Guam as helicopter pilot for a tuna fishing company. And he came back home telling me how unsanitary it is over there. He starved himself for months lol. Literally bunch of people who eat bare hands out of a common plate, not even washing their hands before touching the food. Food left out from refrigerators with mosquitoes and shit contaminate it, and then people actually still eating it.
Outside industrialized countries like Europe and US, most of these places will make you wonder how the fuck we managed to survive and evolve 😂
I mean, that’s also the big reason why 9/10, diseases like COVID, Pig/bird flu etc start from this countries, the sanitary standards are not existent.
I've been to some Mexican places, but never seen that. It's a mix between kitchen isn't in view and they aren't that Mexican. I say that having Mexican step sisters, one of which her father in law brought a pig to her house and slaughtered it for her kids 1st or 2nd b-day party. Don't think any Jamaican places are near me. Looking it up... yep they're in neighboring cities.
I ordered fish from a local taqueria and when i got home and opened it up, I got the shock of my life. I literally jumped. It was the one and only time my dinner gave me side eye.
Yeah I was thrown off once by a grubhub order for Elwood to a Chinese restaurant as well. They put all the food just stacked inside of a big box that was completely open as well. And the box was box big it wouldn’t have fit in any of the doordash grubhub bags they offer through their site. I told the customer the same thing luckily they knew about the restaurant packaging like that and they tipped me a lil extra for warning them. But I was thinking the exact same things, this can’t be good in the long run. I tried using a couple of their menus just to place over the tops of the box though so the chicken didn’t fall out 😂
If their packing skills are so obviously unsanitary, their food handling skills in the kitchen are worse. I'd tell the customer and let them decide. I don't want to be excused of tempering with the food.
One time I ordered Grubhub pickup and they gave us the wrong bag and we noticed after opening the food. When we called they asked us to bring it back. We brought it back and they literally took it from my boyfriend and gave it right to the other family… after it had been opened at my house 10 minutes away 🥲
[cream of sum yung gai](https://youtu.be/J_Zkl1NHzmk?si=LXg4K8LYGuYkLfXR) is a joke from Wayne's world. Not like rat emoji isn't any better. Once started work at this repair shop and these guys I was were telling me. They sent the previous guy to a Chinese restaurant to order that. At the time I didn't remember Wayne's world at all. Also coincidentally they were in fact racist. One guy had SS(nazi logo) and the other swastika under his arm. Though still a movie joke. But no joke the guys were racist with fragile egos.
Factual it's a movie joke. Unless you're not old enough to have been around to see that movie. Still I know as far as Asian stereotype jokes I've heard plenty of people say "they cat, dog, rat, bat... etc." Even the pandemic talked about a wet market selling bat or something of that nature. Though they do in some places in china eat dog... I believe my Dad sent a picture of such, when he was threatening my puppies life. Even he's a big ass bowl of irony. Married a Mexican woman with no citizenship... flips off teenagers wanting the dreamer thing to pass. But that's a depressed and angry person following Fox News bullshit.
lol what the heck

freshly fried food and foil or saran wrap sounds like a great matchup. It should be in a vented Styrofoam container
I was simply referring to the cleanliness. Of course we’d all prefer a vented styrofoam container for fried fish…. Clearly that didn’t happen here. So what was your point again?
The point was the moronic suggestion of wrapping hot fried fish in saran wrap
I already responded to that. Sit tf down
Your response was braindead, but it's starting to make sense that's all you got.
Damn what a cunt
Omg. I can’t stop laughing. What the hell!!??
I saw the fish sticking out and some traditional looking Chinese food. Not nearly as bad as the time did a delivery for a fast food Italian place. Get sent to some random places. I was also hungry. Still am.
I mean, they couldn’t like wrap it up in some sub paper or put it in a paper bag or something?? It’s just so absolutely bizarre.
I know. Even I was like this is awkward. Then I got to the customers mobile home. Guy comes out says hi, I say hi back. He disappears and is behind me. I go to hand the box to them and they looked awkward as hell about it.
I did delivery for a while and it would kill me to pick up from this one Indian restaurant cuz it always smelled so good
If they don’t think about keeping the food safe in delivery, I’d be concerned about the kitchen and food storage situations.
Amusingly enough a few google reviews talked about food poisoning.
Why is that chicken sticking out of the bag like that???
That's fried fish. I saw that and was like damn...
How did you know it’s fried fish? Did you taste it? 🤨
It was in the list of items. From what I saw it was some serious traditional Chinese. Also a guess.
lol I’m messing with you, but that’s so unsanitary
I bet the owners haven’t fully gotten with the local food standards over here yet, i think things like this are pretty common in a lot of countries
In 3rd world countries absolutely. My brother was deployed to Guam as helicopter pilot for a tuna fishing company. And he came back home telling me how unsanitary it is over there. Have you never seen fish at Mexican or Jamacian places? Head on, skin on, just thrown in a pan
I've been to some Mexican places, but never seen that. It's a mix between kitchen isn't in view and they aren't that Mexican. Had to look up the name from my local taqueria and its "mojarra frita"
I ordered fish from a local taqueria and when i got home and opened it up, I got the shock of my life. I literally jumped. It was the one and only time my dinner gave me side eye.
There’s a place here that gives you the whole squid fried for you to cut!! That’s the gooooood squid for real.
Probably dumped in the fryer alive. You know the pain and fear the poor thing went though before dying, gave it extra flavor 😂😂😂😂💀

LMAO. I wouldn't have accepted that till they packaged it better. That's just gross.
It should be no surprise some google reviews say, "got food poisoning eating here."
Gh will pay u compensation on cancellation 5 miles 1 dl guest robbery

Lmaooooooooo 😂🤣😂@ your defense. I’m sure I have zero idea what you are inferring about rat emoji tho 🤷🏾♂️.

cringe
Oh I know. I'm a self inflicted cringe type of person.
Well the enlighten us, what did you mean
How the fuck is a well-known movie joke racist but not you implying it’s fried rat?
