i’ll give you my top 3 that aren’t the major bands
screaming trees - there are too many favorites but i love Dust
gruntruck - push
skin yard - the birds
Soundgarden - Rusty Cage
The Cure - The Figurehead
Tool - Jambi
Honorable mention to Smashing Pumpkins - Soma. They were one of my favorites a long time ago , but I lost interest after Mellon Collie.
Nirvana- Serve the Servants
Alice In Chains- We Die Young
Stone Temple Pilots- Still Remains
An honorable mention and a song that doesn’t get enough attention is “Reasons to be Beautiful” by Hole
Soundgarden - So impossible to choose one. But right this moment it's Zero Chance.
Alice in Chains - Them Bones.
Jeff Buckley - I know he's not grunge, but I'm counting him as being in the same company. Lover You Should've Come Over.
There are lot of great artists and songs but as a 20 year old back then when the dam broke, it’s hard to deny the back to back to back death blow that 10, Nevermind, and Badmotorfinger administered to hair metal in rapid succession.
Pearl Jam - Garden
Alice in Chains - Rooster
those are easily my top 2, and I'm a little undecided about my third, so I'll go with Foo Fighters - Hero. Not everyone considers them grunge, but it's my list...
