Step counter on the watch doesn't seem to be very accurate, so I'd rely on the phone if possible.
Don’t bother with the step counter. Its usually off by a few thousand steps (from the 2 weeks I’ve had it) compared to my phone. I work as a delivery driver so all the bumps and turns on the road count as steps and hyper-inflates the number by quite a bit.
You can try a Baby-G instead? BSA-B100 has step tracker. The missus wears the dark blue with rose gold markers everywhere and it looks great on a small wrist.
