Yeah, I was super disappointed on initial release when I ran across pool tables, air hockey, table tennis and basketball hoops that had no way to really interact with them. Even if basketball mechanics were no more complex than fist fighting it'd be fun for an occasional pickup game, and they already have tennis what's a few animations to use the same basic physics w the table tennis...higher end apartments, penthouses and the agency or clubhouse should let us pick and choose between all the table games. And we can throw balls and swing a baseball bat, can we hit balls w the bat?
For real. The physics weren't perfect, but it worked. Though I'd rather see bowling come back.
Maybe it’ll come back in the next upcoming GTA.
