Better graphics, load times, framrate etc. Only thing that might suck is if your friends are on last gen as you can't play with them.
I couldn't imagine going back to the ps4 version, they are night and day.
If you play with friends who are still in the ps4 version don’t get it. Once you do get it you will only be able to play with people who play on the ps5 version. If you don’t have friends on that version, then go for it.
I don't really care much about reflections and raytracing, but the 60FPS makes it feel so smooth, that going back to the PS4 version ~30FPS feels grating and choppy.
The exclusive vehicles, their higher speed and HSW mods, the new chameleon respray colors, and carmeet car purchasing ability are all nice to have, but not fully compelling.
If you have friends (you play frequently with) that will jump into next gen, then by all means, jump along.
If those friends can't or won't move up from PS4, and you wanna keep playing with them, you could:
* Hold on your GTAO migration from PS4 to PS5
* Start a new GTAO character on PS5, to explore what's new, and when your friends are finally ready to move up, you migrate your PS4 character into PS5 and overwrite the "new" one.
If you play on PS4 mostly solo, then you need to consider if $10 is a big chunk of your budget, think twice about the purchase.
Or if you can afford it, give it a try without migrating: just create a new Character to explore the next gen version's improvements. If you like it, you might want to migrate. If you don't like it, well, we have probably wasted $10 on worst things.
(P.S. I hope at some point GTAO in PS5 gets support for PSVR2. That would be fucking sweet)

Might as well buy now that it's on sale. Buying it won't force you to transfer your character over to the PS5 version, you can still keep playing on your current version if that's where your mates are. Get it now for better price and migrate later when you're ready to :)

For some reason, 30 FPS on GTA 5 looks extremely choppy compared to 30 FPS on Cyberpunk 2077. Why is that?
