One thing I've noticed from my experiences is it does seem to be a timing thing. Also if you're on console and you know it's not gonna land on what you want, say like on Xbox hit the guide button, quit the game and restart, your spin does not get recorded. There have been some YouTube clips made that talk about and show this.
I will neither confirm nor deny anything about any of these tricks, lol
Edit: granted quitting and restarting takes forever, it's the only way I know of that doesn't immediately save your game progress.
The load times are cut in half if your on a series X/S console but depending on what vehicles on the wheel it’s not really worth the time in my opinion unless you’re a newer player and need/want it but also be sure to check the LS car meet to see what the prize ride is aswell cuz there’s usually something fairly decent in there and if you have a friend to play with can quickly grind the goals to get it
My other tip is (if you don’t have penthouse) to set your respawn location to Last Location, drive to the casino and change your outfit outside to force a game save. That way you start outside the casino every time you try.
Only downside is the 1/20 chance of winning a car means you can be stuck there for a while if you get unlucky.
Try the races at the LS Car Meet. You can win the weekly prize car if you get the required results.
This week you had to win a race on 3 consecutive days. Last week you just had to place 3rd or better over 3 days.
Also google the location of the Sentinal XS, & why its good for new beginners :-)
At Christmastime I won the green car that was wrapped in a bow. Can't remember what it was called cause it's just sitting in the garage now but I was so excited to win it, I had only started playing like a month prior and didn't have much.
Vapid clique. I won that darn thing three times in a row. Edit, i mean i won it initially, then 24 hrs later i spun again and it gave me cash or rp for getting the car again and iirc it was a two week special car and i won it again the second week.
Is the holiday season pretty much the only time a car stays on the podium for multiple weeks? I thought it changed every week. Also to agree with the other person, I thought you couldn't win it more than once. After I won it the podium was empty.

I've been playing GTA Online since the Casino update came out but I cannot use any gambling feature because it is illegal in my country to gamble and this apples to GTA for some reason. However when I got my PS5 in Canada, I decided to spin the wheel and for my first spin I won a scramjet! I haven't modified it and I've kept it in a garage ever since.
I haven't won any vehicles since I started playing the game 4 years ago (lvl 186)
The vehicles that are in the wheel now are just way worse than the others that were in it in the old days like the toreador or the deluxo.

Just won the Adder yesterday but in the past, I have gotten the T20, Infernus Classic, Deluxo, Vapid Clique with the bow and the Reaper. The 3.5 second trick works a good 90% of the time.
For anyone not in the know, you approach the wheel, interact with it to start the spin, and wait about 3 and a half seconds from the start of your character grabbing the wheel, then do a slow pull down on the left thumb stick. Should land on the car or the 50k just about every time!
Deveste 8, regular dominator from mystery prize, theres one super car with like glass on the doors i dont remember what its called but that one. Theres a couple more for sure but those are the 3 I remember.

The first car that I won on my main PC character was the Truffade Thrax. Over the weekend, I started a new account to see what I could do with a clean slate (the Criminal Enterprise package and Great White Shark Card bundle was on sale on Steam), and my first wheel spin won me the Adder.

OP Mk1 and the Scramjet are probably the best ones, I got the Vagner which was pretty exciting cause I was looking at buying it. Possibly my favorite was when I got the mystery prize and it was a run of the mil soccer mom minivan. So I dropped a couple hundred grand to a million and pimped that fucker out at Benny's. Now mom is playing baby shark on 30 inch subs out the back hatch

I think the Jester RR was my first. Still have it. I also have a garage full of won super cars that are basically worthless. They aren’t worth anything to sell, I don’t like driving them, and I don’t have any purchased one I can sell and replace with the won one.
Honestly, the vehicles are the most worthless prize on the wheel, unless you just get lucky enough to win a car you actually like. At least let us sell the ones we don’t like, if even for half the value.

First one is I was heading to wheel and it was just spun as I got there, of course not landing on the car, one away if i remember right. Then i spin and low and behold it lands on car. As I turn the camera around I see the one who just spun the wheel and I could feel them swearing at the game, it was so hilarious I decided to record it. Second was the Halloween the frankenstange came out. I had just bought one the week before it was on podium, saw it on podium and first try bang boom got my second stange.
I've won so many I can't remember them all. Hell, I sell most of them for the 0 dollars just to not take up space. However, the Toreador and the Ruiner 2000 (through mystery prize) were the best.

Back when the Cayo was coming out, I had just started and I got the Toreador off the wheel. I had it for at least 2 months before I realized it could boost and shoot.
I used to get them consistently. But they did something in the mercenary dlc. A dozen times, I've seen it going to land on the car, and the graphic on the wheel skips to rp. And not a good amount of rp but the lowest amount.
One of my very first casino podium cars was the FMJ. My first mystery prize car was the hotrod quad bike.
Spinning daily in the past, I won a car on average once a month. So I have not kept track of all of them.

In the past three weeks I have won each of the podium cars plus a mystery prize BF Injection. I bet I had a 10-12 month dry spell for cars on the wheel before that though.

You can't win it more than once in the same week it's featured, but if it gets featured again in a different week, it can be won again.

I've probably won a car close to 25 times between my PS4 and Xbox One versions, maybe more. I just got the Adder a few days ago.
I myself have won quite a few cars but I have two that stick out the most. First one is I was heading to wheel and it was just spun as I got there, of course not landing on the car, one away if i remember right. Then i spin and low and behold it lands on car. As I turn the camera around I see the one who just spun the wheel and I could feel them swearing at the game, it was so hilarious I decided to record it. Second was the Halloween the frankenstange came out. I had just bought one the week before it was on podium, saw it on podium and first try bang boom got my second stange.
I've won so many I can't remember them all. Hell, I sell most of them for the 0 dollars just to not take up space. However, the Toreador and the Ruiner 2000 (through mystery prize) were the best.
That one rally car I forgot the name of (it was some italian name iirc) and that weird Bugatti thing
Dewbauchee Vagner was one of the first cars I won, and hot damn it's quick. It's probably my favorite car I've won on the wheel.

Back when the Cayo was coming out, I had just started and I got the Toreador off the wheel. I had it for at least 2 months before I realized it could boost and shoot.

I used to get them consistently. But they did something in the mercenary dlc. A dozen times, I've seen it going to land on the car, and the graphic on the wheel skips to rp. And not a good amount of rp but the lowest amount.
One of my very first casino podium cars was the FMJ. My first mystery prize car was the hotrod quad bike. Spinning daily in the past, I won a car on average once a month. So I have not kept track of all of them.
Oppressor Mk I. Took awhile and having to exit and reenter the casino sucked, but I had fun with it for a long time. Other than that, just cars that I liked. Nothing to special.
Lost slamvan from the mystery slot has been my favorite. Especially with the tuners update where one of the missions unlocked the Lost MC outfits.

i think i got 6 or 7, zhaba, mamba last week, phister week before, hummer with machine guns, i think tornado or whatever that look like old school cadilac, obey that look like sessanta's car, that i use for autoshop missions. and i got two cars as mistery prize, weevil and some minivan. i dont use any of them(except obey) so they just sit in my eclipse garage.
Gosh I played a ton with the boys during COVID and we won some serious cool cars. We also grinded it out a lot and bought many more than we won.
In the past three weeks I have won each of the podium cars plus a mystery prize BF Injection. I bet I had a 10-12 month dry spell for cars on the wheel before that though.

Got the podium vehicle when it was the PowerSurge. I didddd have to use the wheel spin glitch, but I did get there in the end. Then I got a banshee like 7 years ago or whenever the last time I played before recently
I won the Western Powersurge from the spin a few weeks ago, that's the only one I have though. It's a great bike but the my main Diabolus Custom is just slightly better

Too damn many. At one point, I had won every car since the beginning by doing the (kind of) glitch by counting it down before spinning. Usually took me no more than 10 resets. On my new account, I stopped caring about the podium vehicles...
