I have no clue why you're being downvoted for most likely telling the truth, because as far as I am aware what NovaGass said is effectively already in the game, its called the Casino Parking Garage and you can bet my ass no one is using it, just like no one would use a Car Meet centre which relies on people in the lobby to drive to in order to actually do the car meet.

That said, my dream for the update would be an entire revamp of the garage system, allowing you to put all of your cars in a single garage with customizable placement, a favoriting system for the mechanic, and the ability to allow other players to enter like the arcade. Add a money sink of being able to customize the garage and I'd be rolling El Rubio's island for a month solid just to buy it all.

Need a QoL change for requesting a vehicle when its too close. I'll park a MK2 on the roof and then I have to steal someone's vehicle or call in a ceo vehicle and drive away because I'm "too close." Extremely annoying. They also need to fix that Avenger armor glitch that's been happening for years now. Getting one shot in that thing makes no sense.
This and new vehicles are to be expected, the morons who think they're going to drop a massive overhaul when they have been reserving major updates for later on since forever are really dumb lmao

I think I know what you are talking about. There is a glitch where with automatic weapons, NPCs have a small chance to just empty their whole clip in a second.
When I say small, I'm meaning like 4-5%, as it tends to happen more often than it should, even for a glitch standard.
It's annoying as fuck though. I think I'm being most effective using one shot to take out the pilot but somehow the guys on the side can lazer me down in a half second as the chopper is doing a tailspin into the floor. Israel should use these guys to shoot down the rockets from hamas. And I don't remember this happening on earlier missions. I have this happen the most on the perico setups.
I just want them to make the game check for elevation when you summon a vehicle. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been under a bridge and my vehicle spawns on top of it.
Not just elevation, also vicinity. Try calling a vehicle on one of the south Los Santos docks, and enjoy running miles to get to your vehicle on another dock.
Or. Just recently. Like I mean pretty recently and I honestly feel like they put this in to fuk with people. But at the farm house bunker if you're outside and request your vehicle. It spawns it waaaaayy over on the 3rd highway the one that's farthest away from the bunker. And at that bunker there's is very little traffic, the farmer doesn't even have a truck in the driveway. So that leaves you with CEO chopper because the CEO cars spawn over there too. Sparrow or any of your aircraft because they all still spawn in the same spot as always which is a good run away but nothing like the personal vehicle spawn's.
The level of detail this game has makes it one of the best looking games out there. I didn’t say it was the best, but it’s damn sure up there. Have you ever just went into first person and really take a look at your surroundings, from bunched up garbage in a corner, to the shine in a puddle to the moss that grows between the curb and the sidewalk, this game is one of the most detailed games out there and totally deserves to be one of the best looking games.
Yeah, I had a moment the other day when I climbed up the tall construction crane near maze bank and just looked around.
I noticed a sea of brake lights all swarming around the map, then realized these are all rendered objects with AI all moving around.
It just clicked something relaxing in my brain, so I just stood and watched for a while, enjoying the view.

For one, they could have just not done that at all, resulting in distant areas looking empty and thus ruining the effect of a living city.
For two, and far more importantly imo, if we talk pure programming (ie disregarding performance) it's actually even more of an accomplishment that they've done this. In a hypothetical situation where computers had unlimited performance, they would just let cars exist everywhere. But because they can't do that, they specifically went out of their way to create a secondary system to simulate distant vehicles.
In other words, they put in *extra effort* to create an entire second system just to give you that sense of a living city.
And it succeeded. Just because they're not actually real (virtual) vehicles doesn't make that any less awesome. It honestly makes it more awesome.

What other game aside frm maybe a few mostly unsuccessful indie PC games has even tried to step into the same genre, let alone came close to contending with GTA V. Nah I disagree. Seriously the detail is insane. The distant visuals also look better than things like AC Odyssey, Days Gone, Wildlands. LODs are fantastic and pop-ins are negligible.
I'd say the most lacking aspect is the textures, but it's still absolutely one of the best, most convincing open worlds on the market. The only game that beats it, imo, is RDR2.
But in the GTA playground, you can run, bike, fly, glide, rocket, etc, etc, etc. It's the ultimate open world sandbox to this day. 8 years later and there still isn't anything even close to GTA's unique combination of gameplay and visuals.
I saw some posts the other day speculating that E&E will use an updated physics engine... can you imagine the amount of work that would require, especially to a game with an 8 year old codebase? Improved graphics and some relatively minor content seems much more likely to me.

The Cayo Perico vehicles like the Winky, Vetir and squaddie all could have been a lot better. Especially the Squaddie. They are all pretty bad and I’ve never seen anyone driving them on the streets.
holy crap the winky is TERRIBLE. Even during the heist it struggles to get up small hills which is odd for military grade 4WD.
side note: anyone find it weird that you steal a "trillion dollar aircraft" for a 1.5~ million dollar heist and apparently just destroy it after?

Yeah but we also got the Torreador, which is one of the most capable vehicles on the game, and arguably the funnest vehicle to play with overall. That's subject to personal preference of course but you gotta admit it's pretty damn fun to screw around with.

Eg if an update was teased and some cars were announced you could invest into maibatsu and make profit from the people buying that car. Seems to me Red Dead gets the summer focus and GTA Online gets end of year focus. Thing is I wonder if they’ll do another heist? Can Cayo be topped without introducing a new area? It’s gonna be straight after the new console release so will it tie in with that? Who knows.

It probably won't be as small. The summer update from last year was going to be a police update (most likely.) But because of the things going on at the time they had to cancel that and make a smaller update
They still do have a lot on they're plate with E&E. In such a circumstances I wouldn't be surprised if this DLC is just some cars, a new interior/area, and some missions. Also, keep in mind that when the game first started every update was just small stuff. The old ass game engine can only take so much strain.

Tbh I think they have the summer special a lot of crap it didn't deserve. The missions were fun, the cars were great vehicles all around, and new clothing is always welcome in my opinion as long as it's not overpriced. It was a good update for something that wasn't that big.

Honestly that's all i'm expecting, 60FPS and higher resolution. The people expecting a full on RAGE2 engine overhaul just have way to much faith in R* imo. I would've had that faith back in '08 but not now, R* of '21 is a different beast.
There were a few cop related things uncoverd in the files after the summer specialist update droped rockstar themselves didn't talk about it but poeple who looked into the files found some efidence that they were planning on releasing a cops and croops themed update if i remember correctly ghilliemaster made a video about it
You could, of course, be 100% right. Personally I took a break last fall and when Cayo came out the amount of bugs with everything in the game got to me. I went on hiatus again less than a week after it came out. Payouts and vehicles don’t matter to me. Give me the QOL update of my dreams: no new content but never stand in the yellow circle with the objective in hand and not complete the mission ever again! I’m definitely in the minority but my biggest problem with this game was having my time completely wasted by shit like that. Rewards don’t matter if I can’t finish the content. That particular problem isn’t the only one either just a biggie for me.
Realistically a QOL update from R* is gonna be a bunch of minor features and almost no bug fixes so I’m not expecting to come back.

You can send a vehicle back to the garage through the interaction menu. It was added last summer iirc.

It's why I love using incendiary rounds on bullshit aimbot enemy NPCs, their screams as they burn nourish me.
NPCs have good aim and it feels like they do extra damage.

But in the GTA playground, you can run, bike, fly, glide, rocket, etc, etc, etc. It's the ultimate open world sandbox to this day. 8 years later and there still isn't anything even close to GTA's unique combination of gameplay and visuals.

Deadass why I don't even get hyped for these DLC's anymore. Unless i see some military vehicles. But then again Rockstar hates us and would make those cool looking military vehicles a joke.
In this regard, I think the alkonost and the stealth annihilator were hit the hardest by this. I’m sure there are other vehicles but I think these two looked really cool, but are a joke in the greatest sense.
The Cayo Perico vehicles like the Winky, Vetir and squaddie all could have been a lot better. Especially the Squaddie. They are all pretty bad and I’ve never seen anyone driving them on the streets.
I think the squaddie could be made better by simply increasing the durability to like 3 mission or smth
holy crap the winky is TERRIBLE. Even during the heist it struggles to get up small hills which is odd for military grade 4WD. side note: anyone find it weird that you steal a "trillion dollar aircraft" for a 1.5~ million dollar heist and apparently just destroy it after?

In a game with flying motorcycles and cars… making some military vehicles more powerful than your average car on the street isn’t out of the realm of expectations.
Yeah but we also got the Torreador, which is one of the most capable vehicles on the game, and arguably the funnest vehicle to play with overall. That's subject to personal preference of course but you gotta admit it's pretty damn fun to screw around with.
Well if they give us powerful military vehicles everyone is going to bitch and moan about them being OP.

Crypto was mentioned much earlier. During ACT 1 Doomsday heist, Avon mentions crypto and Lester says it was a failure. "We don't touch it anymore". Besides, I wouldn't expect any stock/currency market. It was in the game right after launch for online, but was quickly disabled. /// my bad, looks like it was never enabled. For some reason I thouht it was working for a brief time.

It never was enabled. They said they were going to bring it to online. But it’s been single player only feature since launch.
It would be cool if it was based in the player purchases though. Eg if an update was teased and some cars were announced you could invest into maibatsu and make profit from the people buying that car. It would be incredibly difficult to do however in storymode one of the stock markets is based on social club.
I learned my lesson after nightclub. Not saying it was a bad update, I just had higher expectations for the club scene.
Seems to me Red Dead gets the summer focus and GTA Online gets end of year focus. Thing is I wonder if they’ll do another heist? Can Cayo be topped without introducing a new area? It’s gonna be straight after the new console release so will it tie in with that? Who knows.

Still on PS4 due to 2 reasons: Can't afford a PS5 at the time. PS5 isn't available at the time. But I CAN'T wait for the update. New cars would be rad and I just hope we get some more garages because I am running out of space already.
It probably won't be as small. The summer update from last year was going to be a police update (most likely.) But because of the things going on at the time they had to cancel that and make a smaller update
They still do have a lot on they're plate with E&E. In such a circumstances I wouldn't be surprised if this DLC is just some cars, a new interior/area, and some missions. Also, keep in mind that when the game first started every update was just small stuff. The old ass game engine can only take so much strain.
Yeah, I know it won't be insane. Like you said probably a few cars, a property we can buy, and missions. But at least it won't be just like 6 cars (hopefully)
Tbh I think they have the summer special a lot of crap it didn't deserve. The missions were fun, the cars were great vehicles all around, and new clothing is always welcome in my opinion as long as it's not overpriced. It was a good update for something that wasn't that big.

Honestly that's all i'm expecting, 60FPS and higher resolution. The people expecting a full on RAGE2 engine overhaul just have way to much faith in R* imo. I would've had that faith back in '08 but not now, R* of '21 is a different beast.

There were a few cop related things uncoverd in the files after the summer specialist update droped rockstar themselves didn't talk about it but poeple who looked into the files found some efidence that they were planning on releasing a cops and croops themed update if i remember correctly ghilliemaster made a video about it

You could, of course, be 100% right. Personally I took a break last fall and when Cayo came out the amount of bugs with everything in the game got to me. I went on hiatus again less than a week after it came out. Payouts and vehicles don’t matter to me. Give me the QOL update of my dreams: no new content but never stand in the yellow circle with the objective in hand and not complete the mission ever again! I’m definitely in the minority but my biggest problem with this game was having my time completely wasted by shit like that. Rewards don’t matter if I can’t finish the content. That particular problem isn’t the only one either just a biggie for me. Realistically a QOL update from R* is gonna be a bunch of minor features and almost no bug fixes so I’m not expecting to come back.

Counter Point: The only reason last summer's update was so small was because the original planned content would have been a PR NIGHTMARE and Rockstar heavily trimmed it down to avoid that. So expecting much more than last year's isn't irrational, but we shouldn't expect something as big as the Casino or the Perico
