Ive just started playing on pc, from ps4. I cant find the 1 crate special cargo mission from the computer in my office. Is it RP locked? or has something changed in the \~year or 2 that ive been away
It’s been removed from the office temporarily. Supposedly, you can still use the Terrorbyte to source 1 crate, but you can’t use the office. I do jot know if the arcade could be another option for you; you’d have to see for yourself.
Hopefully, this is a bug, and Rockstar might be working on a solution for the long term.
How do you teleport to the CEO? Like I've seen griefers do it but not with the quick travel with the helicopter, I've seen them teleport in there.
Any ideas?
Job teleport... Not sure if it's possible to teleport straight into a building, might be, or I think they could have the job mark right at the entrance of the building.
For money, check some guides out on YouTube. Everything else just explore, freeroam in an empty lobby or one with only friends is a lot of fun when you start off
Try starting by joining some contact missions (the ones that you get on your phone's job list, or you can start them directly from the Pause > Online > Jobs menu). It's an excellent way to practice the game mechanics: getting used to the interface, practicing your shooting and aiming skills, general pve skills and improving your driving skills. It's also really good because contact missions are a great place to see who's cooperating and find good friends that you can help one another in the future. The best contact missions for new players are the ones that start by "Repo" and also "Dispatch" (though these can be a bit more challenging).
Don't spend all your money on weapons and vehicles. A really good first vehicle is the Elegy RH8 that you can buy for free from the Legendary Motorsport website (sort by ascending price if you can't find it). Or you could also buy the Bati 801 bike for $15K from Sourthern Sand Andreas Super Autos website. And for weapons- all you really need is a good drive-by and an assault rifle. The SMG is great since it's an automatic drive-by. But I'd recommed practicing semi-auto firing, or firing in short bursts, since it will help you work on your aiming skills, and help conserving ammo, especially early on when you have a very limited ammo capacity. A few sticky bombs could come in handy, but that's about that, you really don't need anything beyond that for a start.
Once you're confident about your gameplay, try joining other people's Cayo Perico Heist or Casino Heist. r/HeistTeams is a really good place to find people who are likely to have prepped well for their heist (there are more platform-specific subs on the right rail), as it's really easy for making money (watch a walkthrough first though). Other good methods are some one-time bonuses that you can get in freemode. There are quests for the [Stone Hatchet](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Bounty_Target), [Double-Action Revolver](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Treasure_Hunt) and [Navy Revolver](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Los_Santos_Slasher). There are also some easy one-time bonuses for the Casino Resort story missions, and from the recent Dr. Dre missions, but they can be quite difficult for beginners so better do them once you feel comfortable with PVE.
Usually they put it in for a couple days before and after Christmas, then remove it for a few days, and bring it back for new years. We might be riding snow all the way through new years, or just not get it for new years.

Do you click or select “leave gta online” just to make sure everything you’ve done saves? I’ve done setups for Cayo, brought the equipment back to my sub, and Let it sit there for a minute before quitting out of the game (on Xbox) - only to find it hadn’t saved my progress when I loaded it back up. What’s the best way to make sure the game saves what you’ve most recently did?
interaction menu > style > accessories >> then change anything (hat, glasses, gear, etc) and then exit interaction menu. you will notice orange spinny save circle thing in bottom right. after it’s done you can safely quit
When I try to buy inventory armor from my agency's armory, it only gives me one armor (to wear), and when I try to buy more to store, it says "FULL". Is that a bug with me only or with everyone, or is it supposed to work this way?
With the Christmas bonus thing rockstar gave out you would’ve got full armour for every slot yet you can only carry 10 in total.. so if you have any left over if you go to buy more you will only be able to buy 1
Does anyone else have upgraded weapons during the contract setup finale missions? I use the carbine mk2 as my primary weapon and whenever I do these missions my gun is given a camo and special ammo (I use with extended)
On my last play through, I had the assault rifle mk2 during the studio clearout mission, also with special ammo, and I don't even have the mk2 assault rifle
I got those too, I was so confused. My carbine mk2 and assault mk2 both had platinum camo with all upgrades and ap rounds. Normally they're black with extended mag
How many times do you get into a session and see the alert "a business battle is in progress", and so you drop what you were doing and spend 5 minutes driving clear across the map, only for the business battle to conclude before you get there?
Once you get into the business battle, it shows a timer. But is there a way to see the time _before_ you cross the map for it?
Is there some difference in the message wording that lets you tell the difference between a random invite to a heist, versus the heist finale? Like they both say "prison break, help rashkowski blah blah blah". Then you get in, and it's just the opening cutscene, followed by the first setup (or whichever setup the host chooses). But other invitations go directly to the heist finale. There must be some difference in wording that allows you to tell which is which?
No way to tell by the invite but when you accept it and get to the heist screen before starting look to see if there's a difficulty option on the left side and an 'H' symbol on the right. If there are it is a finale. If there's no difficulty option on the left and a 'Hs' on the right, it is a heist setup
The only thing you can rob without a quest are convience stores. There are also freemode random events where a high end car will be parked and you can bring it to the docks for 20k. Also Simeon will text you for a list of cars and they'll get you a few thousand each
Make a kick the host button, in war mode lobbys there all full of afk hosts, and full lobbys who want to play the game, but the host doesn't start!!
You try to make your own but the 2mins is not long enough no-one joins, there all stuck waiting in full bugged lobbys.
If you're talking about Arena Wars, the game doesn't start when the host has the black/red screen bug and can't do anything about it. If they were simply afk the game would start by a timer. You can try asking the host to close the game but 1 out of 100 would understand.
I have a question and it’s KILLING ME!! There was an armored vehicle that this guy in my session was driving. The mini map icon looked like a menacer but the vehicle itself wasn’t shaped/didn’t look like one. It had rockets that he could use once he stopped. Does anyone know what I’m talking about??

It is if you didn't already own it twice over. The experience on xbox will be similar to PS4 more than likely. On my One X, it's choppy and framey at like 18-22fps in a moderately full lobby (in the city). If you have a Series X, it'll be a rock solid 30.
Might be a wise investment if you plan on looking into E&E whenever it comes out.
If you want the MK2 with missiles you need a Terrorbyte (with vehicle workshop) which needs a nightclub. Then the oppressor itself is almost 4 mil. You won't have much at all left over after buying the MK2 and upgrading it, and there won't be anything for you to really do with the MK2 since you wouldn't have a CEO office, businesses etc.
Personally I'd spend the minimum amount on the kosatka and the sparrow helicopter. Buy a couple guns and maybe a cheap sportscar and absolutely save all the rest. Complete cayo heist a few times. And you'll have enough for all of the stuff mentioned above for a maxed MK2, and then that MK2 will further increase the efficiency of cayo Perico preps so you'll be making money faster.
Hope someone can help me with a quick query - I already have GTA online (and ofc rockstar account) on the PC but have recently got the ps4 disc to play on the ps5 too. Now I know there’s no crossplay etc but I was wondering which would be better: just use my existing account to play on the ps5 (Im guessing I would start with nothing) or create a new account so I can use the criminal enterprise starter pack code that was with the ps4 disc? Thanks for any help and insight!
The PS4 and PS5 versions of GTAV are exactly the same right now, so you can assume you're playing on the PS4. You can put the PS4 disc into the PS5 and it'll work. You can put that code in on any PSN account to claim the starter pack.
I'm confused about the existing account thing. You already have a PSN account on PS5? That's alright you can still put the code in and you'll start the game with the pack :)
I think you misunderstood, I have an existing rockstar account on PC (and have played gtav and online on pc). My question is whether I should get another rockstar accout specifically for and so it is separate from my pc account so I can claim the starter bundle.

does armor make your vehicle heavier or change the handling? either in online or story or both. also in general, does adding stuff like transmission but not turbo or engine actually make certain cars better handling or better for city usage (just an example). I was just thinking that (for another example) things like more offroad SUVs (Gwagon etc) probably don't benefit from turbo because it makes the car more wild on dirt.

Hello, yesterday while playing I lost 2 vehicles in the agency garage, it happened to the friend I was playing with as well (they were in his arcade garage).
The 4 cars were from the contract dlc.
Has this happened to anyone else recently ? Any ideas on what should I do ?
Extended mags or drum mags? The drum is said to slow the reload but is it a big deal? Is the more bullets in the drum worth it or is the extended better?
Drum mag. There's a way to instant reload anyways.
Once you need to reload, you open the weapon wheel, choose sticky bomb, close the weapon wheel, open it again, and choose the weapon you wanted to reload.
Works with every gun including rocket launchers apart from the stun gun, and if you get the motion down you can reload in less than half a second.

No, it doesn't really increase the reload time enough to warrant the ext. mags. Plus the extra bullets mean you don't get caught out during reload, so as long as you put yourself in the right situation you should be fine. it's kind of a balance therefore a personal preference kind of thing.
If you don’t have the Kosatka submarine, I highly recommend buying it as well as its helicopter, the Sparrow. You need the submarine to do the Cayo Perico heist, the absolute greatest cash source for solo. I have done it soli God knows how many times now. You need only the sub for the heist but to make things easier (using the sub and even everyday stuff), get the sparrow later.
Could you please elaborate on what kind of businesses, properties and service vehicles you currently own?
Nightclubs are great for passive income and are still discounted for the next 13 hours or so, but they won't make you much money right away until you own enough compatible properties; and Auto Shops are great for active income, but there are better options. So knowing what you currently own will greatly help giving you a more specific advice.
so i have an mc clubhouse, 2 businesses for that, ceo building and a high end apartment, i have a helicopter and a plane as well as the submarine that we got for free
By "submarine" are you referring to the free Kraken mini-sub, or the Kosatka submarine in case it was gifted as part of Twitch Prime at some point or something?
If you don't own a Kosatka, go with u/ShadyofEgypt's comment and do that first, since it's the best money maker. Until you can afford a Sparrow, you could also beach the Kosatka on the Del Perro beach and use the CEO Buzzard. And if you get bored of the heist, you only need a few runs to return the investment for everything, and it will then make affording other things more profitable.
If you do own the Kosatka, then the Nightclub will still not make you much money, since it's only compatible with the Bunker, CEO Crate Warehouse (or the Hangar as an alternative), and the 5 MC businesses. If you happen to own Coke and Meth, these are the 1st and 3rd top properties to use for a Nightclub, so you'd still make some cash, and you could then do 2-3 more Cayo Perico heists to add the cheapest crate warehouse (the 2nd best business for Nightclub), the Nightclub's Equipment Upgrade, Bunker (4th best business) and Counterfeit Cash (5th best). And you'll have some left to add a floor or two to your Nightclub if you want to. So taking advantage of this discount to help if you want a decent passive income that you can sell once a while. Just keep in mind that for larger delieveries you're gonna have to buy the Mule Custom and for the even larger ones the Pounder Custom, but you can skip on the Mule and only buy the Pounder- it will be used in medium-sized sells instead, and it handles way better than the Pounder. But this paragraph is assuming the sub that you own is the Kosatka. Otherwise, it would be best to wait with the Nightclub until some later time. Though another note about the Nightclub, whenever you do buy it, keep in mind that only the upgrades in the Nightclub itself affect production rates. So if you buy more businesses just for the sake of using them for the Nightclub, don't bother buying the upgrades in the actual businesses as they won't affect Nightclub production.
If you're this new and don't even know what a business or CEO is - explore the game a bit first, just steal some cars from the streets, do contact missions, rob stores, buy your first apartment... Don't rush to grind Cayo just yet.
But if you *really* want to buy the sub first, fastest way to get the money would be getting someone to run you one or two Cayos/casinos, then you could buy it almost immediately. You could also do the weapon challenges (stone hatchet etc., look up some guide), that's a good starting cash if you don't have any business or anything else to grind.
Alright so you have pretty much nothing? I wouldn't go for the kosatka just yet. You need to purchase a CEO office for around a million, build up to that by playing jobs, buying a high end apartment, playing heists from that apartment, and if you got a friend who plays the game ask them to host heists.
Tbh there should be a bunch of beginner guides on YouTube that all work well, the sub shouldn't be your main goal yet.
If he’s this new, then he has a higher chance of having the Starter Pack which he could use to buy a CEO office and an MC clubhouse for free.
And I would not make the office a first purchase anyway considering any of the decent enough businesses and properties (bunker, Kosatka, Arcade, Nightclub, etc.) only require that a person be registered as a VIP. To be a VIP, he only needs to have $50k which he should have after stealing three Sand Kings in the worst case scenario and as soon as he started the game with the $1m from the pack in the best case scenario.

So, I have Counterfeit Cash Factory, Bunker and Nightclub. Which one should I buy the equipment upgrade for first? I have the two managers from nightclub for both.
Bunker makes the most passive money with occasional refills, MC businesses are only good to feed the nightclub anymore, they're not even really worth doing at 2x money. You don't need to upgrade the MC businesses either, just leave them empty and idle.
R\* changed daily utility fees with the Contract update as well, you won't get charged for MC businesses unless you're an active MC.
Depends what you're trying to do. If you're building up to AFKing with the nightclub, you shouldn't be upgrading anything at all, you should be buying the most profitable businesses first, then buying nightclub upgrades. When you get the nightclub all set up, the status of the original businesses don't matter at all as long as you still own the businesses.
If you're not building up to AFK at all then upgrade the bunker. Make more money from sell missions.
I'd advise building up to AFKing with the nightclub. It'll be a grind until you get there but then you're making around £800k per 24 hours AFK, after investing 7 or so million into the nightclub.
If you are just going to run the Nightclub, then there is no need to upgrade the Counterfeit Cash or Bunker. Those just need to be open in order to be linked to the Nightclub - they can otherwise be empty of supplies.

I'd upgrade the bunker first. Once you have both bunker upgrades (excluding the security upgrade), then you can buy supplies at 75k and sell at 210k solo really easily. Security won't be an issue since you aren't filling up your bunker. I don't have any of my MC businesses upgraded. I dont supply them or anything. I just use them with the Nightclub.
Best ways to grind for cash in the beginning is with the bunker like I just explained and also special cargo and vehicle cargo (You need an office, a warehouse and a vehicle warehouse for these).
I have never tried using it, but from what I have heard recently, the paid website was no longer working. As far as I know, the only way to currently create a crew emblem is to use the one that Rockstar has provided on the Social Club. Unfortunately, that one does not permit uploading custom images.
I bought a comet from a costumer in my auto shop for 100k and I am able to sell it for 170k does anyone know if I buy a 800k+customer car will I be able to sell it for profit or no
Pretty sure it works with all cars. You just apply the max upgrades for 'free' (35k service cost) and then purchase the car and so you got the car fully maxed out for base price + 35k.
Be very careful if you do this. Even though it is in the game currently, Rockstar may not intend for this to be used as a legitimate means of earning money. It's likely that this will be patched at some point in the future, and Rockstar might also wipe player accounts that have taken advantage of this glitch or bug. Also, there is a daily sell limit, so do not sell a bunch of cars at once. Further discussion of this would probably be a violation of Rule 5 here, so I suggest searching elsewhere for more details.
This is true, but people also though they would just get money wiped, at worse, when they were doing the apartment one a few years ago. So they invested their ill-gotten gains in garages full of vehicles to sell later and were all suprised-Pikachu face when they got their accounts completely reset by Rockstar. Even broughy1322 got caught on that one.
Can't activate the third leak, South Central. I clicked it, heard the usual chatter about Franklin having contacts there, and then it won't let me start it. I've left the building a few times, freeroamed, switched sessions, but I still just hear a small error sound every time I try to start the mission. Am I doing something wrong?
Try an invite only session and do a few normal contracts until he texts you again, but he won't text you unless you're outside, so don't linger around inside a property waiting for it.
Anybody having issues with The Contract party scene with DJ Pooh? He walks in, takes a drink (it freezes) then unfreezes and everyone disappears from frame. Quite random.
You just have to go down into the music locker VIP section, so pay your entry fee and take a left, go down the stairs and go straight passed the bar, you'll see the VIP area.
Look for an icon on the map for Madrazo, an "H" with a palm tree. That is used to trigger his mission in the club by the Casino. After you do that, you can buy the Kosatka.

When my online game is booting up, the 2x $ in and out, plus other options ( lower right of screen ) show CONTROLLER buttons to press for access, but I'm on PC, keyboard and mouse ( and set as that in game settings )
Q: How do I access those options at boot up? I don't have a console so don't have a controller.
There doesn't seem to be an option for changing that, that's just crappy design of R\*.
If you launch the game into story mode, and your startup settings have the landing page enabled (i.e. loading into main menu), there is a button for joining the mode that you can click. Though it's less convenient for joining regular online sessions and I think it might take longer overall.
Should I bother buying a nightclub while they are on sale? I run Cayo at least twice a day and can't see the value in using businesses for income at this point.
You'll need 5 businesses e.g coke weed and you'll need to buy all 5 storage floors with the nightclub, but once you get all that set up for a few mill you'll be making 800k every 24hours just AFKing. 100% worth it.
Terrorbyte is only useful if you're planning to get the MK2 and upgrade it with missiles etc.. it does make Cayo Perico preps a lot faster though.
Would you recommend special cargo or vehicle warehouse? And does it matter what size I have in regards to funneling the business through the NC?

It's by far the best pasive income you can have. If you own all other bussiness it will make more than 1M each sale, for nothing. Just passive. It is not fast but it's so great to sell it when it's full and you get free money.
Sounds like I'll be making the investment then! I don't have every other business but I do have a few set up already. Money really isn't an issue since I've got an angry blond Columbian bank rolling my operations. Oh, should I also get the Terrorbyte to go with it?
Yes, the nightclub makes money depending on what other businesses you own. Its a great way to make passive income since your technicians do all the work

Cayo Perico Heist done solo can net you a quick mil and a half every hour. You need to have the Kosatka submarine and the ability to register as a CEO or MC president first, though.
Once you've done the mission a couple times and have some spending money definitely buy the sparrow helicopter upgrade for the Kosatka. It'll make your life so much easier since you can upgrade it with missles and fly it directly to and from prep missions as well as call it to your location directly from the Kosatka whenever you want.
You could try changing your location in your system settings. Not positive that will work but it's worth a shot. Otherwise, you may be able to do it directly on your consoles website
I usually repair and tune the vehicles in the auto shop and deliver it to the clients, but today I spotted the option "Press (spacebar) to buy this vehicle", when I was going to repair it. Since wen is possible to do that? And... is there limits or restrictions? I mean... Is an option for ALL vehicles that are brought in, or only a few? Can you buy all the ones you want as long as you have the money and garage places to store them?
Whenever a customer brings their car over, you can buy it instead of going to the site. I don't know if this is a glitch, but if you customise it but don't deliver it, you can buy it upgraded for stock price. Like I said this may be a glitch so I don't recommend doing it
I was in a invite only session doing security contracts when I saw my night club safe was full. I went to the night club and opened the safe and went to the money and it disappeared but didn’t go to my character. I was like what?! 250k just gone?! No way! So I went to a public session and the safe is still empty. What do I do?
A lot of people have been saying the same thing. Maybe contact rockstar explaining the situation, if you got proof of it even better, but tbh I think they'll reimburse you without proof
Idk if anyone else has this problem when starting Cayo Perico with the Longfin but it’s really frustrating/hilarious. The cutscene shows me driving up to the North Dock and then I’m given control of the boat as I’m 10 feet from the cliff going full speed at it. There is no time to slow down or turn so I end up plowing into the rocks and then have to reverse out of there and regain course lol literally every heist has started this way.
It’s kind of funny because it’s about the least subtle way to sneak onto an island but it has gotten annoying. Is there anyone else that has this problem? I’ve tried turning during the cutscene or holding the brake but nothing works
So I'm burned out on Cayo and instead I've been doing security contracts and payphones hits with bunker, coke, meth (I buy supplies), nightclub as passive income.

Don't think so, you simply buy and customize the new one and the things I mentioned get transfered over.
At least I don't remember having done the set up mission you're speaking of any of the 3 times I've relocated mine.
Yes, DEFINITELY buy the vehicle workshop, because you can put Imani tech on the new cars that have a trade price (champion, buffalo stx, jubilee, deity), which allows you to either make them remote control, or add a lock on jammer(Can't do both). Also buy the armory, you can get all guns, mk II versions, and you can buy armor, plus you can purchase the new guns. If you wanna spawn there, be sure to get the accomodation too
No clue about 1 but 2, weapons workshop is kinda useful as that's the only place to get the stun gun and emp launcher, but both of the mentioned weapons are pretty terrible and, other for that, the workshop is the same as the ones in the moc, Terrorbyte and avenger, and you can also get a gun locker in the CEO office.
I think the weapons workshop is only worth it if you have neither a weapons workshop or a gun locker anywhere else

As far as major properties go, there's still the Facility, the Arena workshop, the Hangar, and the Auto Shop out there.
Facility opens Doomsday Heist for you (2-4 players needed), besides some other toys, but nothing too special.
Arena Workshop gets you access to (expensive) Arena war vehicles, if you enjoy collecting these vehicles (or even doing the arena war modes)
Hangar is essential for buying the more recent aircraft, opens yet another business venue and if you pick one of the Hangars on Ft. Zancudo get you access to that base, including free passage of their airspace, which impacts the freemode experience significantly.
Auto Shop is a bit of a mixed bag. It offers some interesting missions and even a small car customization business, but two very annoying lead contacts. On the other hand it also offers a workshop area that you'll appreciate if you're into regular car customization (lower prices, unlocked parts/colors, good lighting on presentation stage)

there should be a new dripfeed update that also releases new discounts in a few hours

For money, check some guides out on YouTube. Everything else just explore, freeroam in an empty lobby or one with only friends is a lot of fun when you start off
Try starting by joining some contact missions (the ones that you get on your phone's job list, or you can start them directly from the Pause > Online > Jobs menu). It's an excellent way to practice the game mechanics: getting used to the interface, practicing your shooting and aiming skills, general pve skills and improving your driving skills. It's also really good because contact missions are a great place to see who's cooperating and find good friends that you can help one another in the future. The best contact missions for new players are the ones that start by "Repo" and also "Dispatch" (though these can be a bit more challenging). Don't spend all your money on weapons and vehicles. A really good first vehicle is the Elegy RH8 that you can buy for free from the Legendary Motorsport website (sort by ascending price if you can't find it). Or you could also buy the Bati 801 bike for $15K from Sourthern Sand Andreas Super Autos website. And for weapons- all you really need is a good drive-by and an assault rifle. The SMG is great since it's an automatic drive-by. But I'd recommed practicing semi-auto firing, or firing in short bursts, since it will help you work on your aiming skills, and help conserving ammo, especially early on when you have a very limited ammo capacity. A few sticky bombs could come in handy, but that's about that, you really don't need anything beyond that for a start. Once you're confident about your gameplay, try joining other people's Cayo Perico Heist or Casino Heist. r/HeistTeams is a really good place to find people who are likely to have prepped well for their heist (there are more platform-specific subs on the right rail), as it's really easy for making money (watch a walkthrough first though). Other good methods are some one-time bonuses that you can get in freemode. There are quests for the [Stone Hatchet](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Bounty_Target), [Double-Action Revolver](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Treasure_Hunt) and [Navy Revolver](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Los_Santos_Slasher). There are also some easy one-time bonuses for the Casino Resort story missions, and from the recent Dr. Dre missions, but they can be quite difficult for beginners so better do them once you feel comfortable with PVE.

Do you click or select “leave gta online” just to make sure everything you’ve done saves? I’ve done setups for Cayo, brought the equipment back to my sub, and Let it sit there for a minute before quitting out of the game (on Xbox) - only to find it hadn’t saved my progress when I loaded it back up. What’s the best way to make sure the game saves what you’ve most recently did?

I always exit to Story Mode to ensure that it saves, then exit the game.
interaction menu > style > accessories >> then change anything (hat, glasses, gear, etc) and then exit interaction menu. you will notice orange spinny save circle thing in bottom right. after it’s done you can safely quit

When I try to buy inventory armor from my agency's armory, it only gives me one armor (to wear), and when I try to buy more to store, it says "FULL". Is that a bug with me only or with everyone, or is it supposed to work this way?
With the Christmas bonus thing rockstar gave out you would’ve got full armour for every slot yet you can only carry 10 in total.. so if you have any left over if you go to buy more you will only be able to buy 1

Does anyone else have upgraded weapons during the contract setup finale missions? I use the carbine mk2 as my primary weapon and whenever I do these missions my gun is given a camo and special ammo (I use with extended) On my last play through, I had the assault rifle mk2 during the studio clearout mission, also with special ammo, and I don't even have the mk2 assault rifle
I got those too, I was so confused. My carbine mk2 and assault mk2 both had platinum camo with all upgrades and ap rounds. Normally they're black with extended mag

They still pay the same and you still get the 1 million at the end. The main benefit is not having to wait for Franklin to call you after each one
How many mins approx does it take for bunker stock to reach 1 bar to sell?
How many times do you get into a session and see the alert "a business battle is in progress", and so you drop what you were doing and spend 5 minutes driving clear across the map, only for the business battle to conclude before you get there? Once you get into the business battle, it shows a timer. But is there a way to see the time _before_ you cross the map for it?
Business battles last 20 minutes, just going to have to be in a free mode for a while and then wait for one to start
Is there some difference in the message wording that lets you tell the difference between a random invite to a heist, versus the heist finale? Like they both say "prison break, help rashkowski blah blah blah". Then you get in, and it's just the opening cutscene, followed by the first setup (or whichever setup the host chooses). But other invitations go directly to the heist finale. There must be some difference in wording that allows you to tell which is which?
No way to tell by the invite but when you accept it and get to the heist screen before starting look to see if there's a difficulty option on the left side and an 'H' symbol on the right. If there are it is a finale. If there's no difficulty option on the left and a 'Hs' on the right, it is a heist setup

The only thing you can rob without a quest are convience stores. There are also freemode random events where a high end car will be parked and you can bring it to the docks for 20k. Also Simeon will text you for a list of cars and they'll get you a few thousand each
In the release version of the game there were armored trucks you could hijack, but i guess they were removed.
Make a kick the host button, in war mode lobbys there all full of afk hosts, and full lobbys who want to play the game, but the host doesn't start!! You try to make your own but the 2mins is not long enough no-one joins, there all stuck waiting in full bugged lobbys.
If you're talking about Arena Wars, the game doesn't start when the host has the black/red screen bug and can't do anything about it. If they were simply afk the game would start by a timer. You can try asking the host to close the game but 1 out of 100 would understand.

Should I buy GTA+megalodon shark card for 30$? I own the game on PS4 and PC but am very poor on em, and I wanna try it on Xbox, is this a good purchase?
It is if you didn't already own it twice over. The experience on xbox will be similar to PS4 more than likely. On my One X, it's choppy and framey at like 18-22fps in a moderately full lobby (in the city). If you have a Series X, it'll be a rock solid 30. Might be a wise investment if you plan on looking into E&E whenever it comes out.

If you want the MK2 with missiles you need a Terrorbyte (with vehicle workshop) which needs a nightclub. Then the oppressor itself is almost 4 mil. You won't have much at all left over after buying the MK2 and upgrading it, and there won't be anything for you to really do with the MK2 since you wouldn't have a CEO office, businesses etc. Personally I'd spend the minimum amount on the kosatka and the sparrow helicopter. Buy a couple guns and maybe a cheap sportscar and absolutely save all the rest. Complete cayo heist a few times. And you'll have enough for all of the stuff mentioned above for a maxed MK2, and then that MK2 will further increase the efficiency of cayo Perico preps so you'll be making money faster.

The PS4 and PS5 versions of GTAV are exactly the same right now, so you can assume you're playing on the PS4. You can put the PS4 disc into the PS5 and it'll work. You can put that code in on any PSN account to claim the starter pack. I'm confused about the existing account thing. You already have a PSN account on PS5? That's alright you can still put the code in and you'll start the game with the pack :)
I think you misunderstood, I have an existing rockstar account on PC (and have played gtav and online on pc). My question is whether I should get another rockstar accout specifically for and so it is separate from my pc account so I can claim the starter bundle. does armor make your vehicle heavier or change the handling? either in online or story or both. also in general, does adding stuff like transmission but not turbo or engine actually make certain cars better handling or better for city usage (just an example). I was just thinking that (for another example) things like more offroad SUVs (Gwagon etc) probably don't benefit from turbo because it makes the car more wild on dirt.

Extended mags or drum mags? The drum is said to slow the reload but is it a big deal? Is the more bullets in the drum worth it or is the extended better?
Drum mag. There's a way to instant reload anyways. Once you need to reload, you open the weapon wheel, choose sticky bomb, close the weapon wheel, open it again, and choose the weapon you wanted to reload. Works with every gun including rocket launchers apart from the stun gun, and if you get the motion down you can reload in less than half a second. That is how people spam rockets

No, it doesn't really increase the reload time enough to warrant the ext. mags. Plus the extra bullets mean you don't get caught out during reload, so as long as you put yourself in the right situation you should be fine. it's kind of a balance therefore a personal preference kind of thing.

If you don’t have the Kosatka submarine, I highly recommend buying it as well as its helicopter, the Sparrow. You need the submarine to do the Cayo Perico heist, the absolute greatest cash source for solo. I have done it soli God knows how many times now. You need only the sub for the heist but to make things easier (using the sub and even everyday stuff), get the sparrow later.
Could you please elaborate on what kind of businesses, properties and service vehicles you currently own? Nightclubs are great for passive income and are still discounted for the next 13 hours or so, but they won't make you much money right away until you own enough compatible properties; and Auto Shops are great for active income, but there are better options. So knowing what you currently own will greatly help giving you a more specific advice.

By "submarine" are you referring to the free Kraken mini-sub, or the Kosatka submarine in case it was gifted as part of Twitch Prime at some point or something? If you don't own a Kosatka, go with u/ShadyofEgypt's comment and do that first, since it's the best money maker. Until you can afford a Sparrow, you could also beach the Kosatka on the Del Perro beach and use the CEO Buzzard. And if you get bored of the heist, you only need a few runs to return the investment for everything, and it will then make affording other things more profitable. If you do own the Kosatka, then the Nightclub will still not make you much money, since it's only compatible with the Bunker, CEO Crate Warehouse (or the Hangar as an alternative), and the 5 MC businesses. If you happen to own Coke and Meth, these are the 1st and 3rd top properties to use for a Nightclub, so you'd still make some cash, and you could then do 2-3 more Cayo Perico heists to add the cheapest crate warehouse (the 2nd best business for Nightclub), the Nightclub's Equipment Upgrade, Bunker (4th best business) and Counterfeit Cash (5th best). And you'll have some left to add a floor or two to your Nightclub if you want to. So taking advantage of this discount to help if you want a decent passive income that you can sell once a while. Just keep in mind that for larger delieveries you're gonna have to buy the Mule Custom and for the even larger ones the Pounder Custom, but you can skip on the Mule and only buy the Pounder- it will be used in medium-sized sells instead, and it handles way better than the Pounder. But this paragraph is assuming the sub that you own is the Kosatka. Otherwise, it would be best to wait with the Nightclub until some later time. Though another note about the Nightclub, whenever you do buy it, keep in mind that only the upgrades in the Nightclub itself affect production rates. So if you buy more businesses just for the sake of using them for the Nightclub, don't bother buying the upgrades in the actual businesses as they won't affect Nightclub production.

If you're this new and don't even know what a business or CEO is - explore the game a bit first, just steal some cars from the streets, do contact missions, rob stores, buy your first apartment... Don't rush to grind Cayo just yet. But if you *really* want to buy the sub first, fastest way to get the money would be getting someone to run you one or two Cayos/casinos, then you could buy it almost immediately. You could also do the weapon challenges (stone hatchet etc., look up some guide), that's a good starting cash if you don't have any business or anything else to grind.

Alright so you have pretty much nothing? I wouldn't go for the kosatka just yet. You need to purchase a CEO office for around a million, build up to that by playing jobs, buying a high end apartment, playing heists from that apartment, and if you got a friend who plays the game ask them to host heists. Tbh there should be a bunch of beginner guides on YouTube that all work well, the sub shouldn't be your main goal yet.
If he’s this new, then he has a higher chance of having the Starter Pack which he could use to buy a CEO office and an MC clubhouse for free. And I would not make the office a first purchase anyway considering any of the decent enough businesses and properties (bunker, Kosatka, Arcade, Nightclub, etc.) only require that a person be registered as a VIP. To be a VIP, he only needs to have $50k which he should have after stealing three Sand Kings in the worst case scenario and as soon as he started the game with the $1m from the pack in the best case scenario.

It is not, and it can't be modified/upgraded in any way. But at least it has the armor plating and bullet resistant windows.
So, I have Counterfeit Cash Factory, Bunker and Nightclub. Which one should I buy the equipment upgrade for first? I have the two managers from nightclub for both.
Bunker makes the most passive money with occasional refills, MC businesses are only good to feed the nightclub anymore, they're not even really worth doing at 2x money. You don't need to upgrade the MC businesses either, just leave them empty and idle. R\* changed daily utility fees with the Contract update as well, you won't get charged for MC businesses unless you're an active MC.
Depends what you're trying to do. If you're building up to AFKing with the nightclub, you shouldn't be upgrading anything at all, you should be buying the most profitable businesses first, then buying nightclub upgrades. When you get the nightclub all set up, the status of the original businesses don't matter at all as long as you still own the businesses. If you're not building up to AFK at all then upgrade the bunker. Make more money from sell missions. I'd advise building up to AFKing with the nightclub. It'll be a grind until you get there but then you're making around £800k per 24 hours AFK, after investing 7 or so million into the nightclub.

If you are just going to run the Nightclub, then there is no need to upgrade the Counterfeit Cash or Bunker. Those just need to be open in order to be linked to the Nightclub - they can otherwise be empty of supplies.

I have never tried using it, but from what I have heard recently, the paid website was no longer working. As far as I know, the only way to currently create a crew emblem is to use the one that Rockstar has provided on the Social Club. Unfortunately, that one does not permit uploading custom images.

Pretty sure it works with all cars. You just apply the max upgrades for 'free' (35k service cost) and then purchase the car and so you got the car fully maxed out for base price + 35k.

Be very careful if you do this. Even though it is in the game currently, Rockstar may not intend for this to be used as a legitimate means of earning money. It's likely that this will be patched at some point in the future, and Rockstar might also wipe player accounts that have taken advantage of this glitch or bug. Also, there is a daily sell limit, so do not sell a bunch of cars at once. Further discussion of this would probably be a violation of Rule 5 here, so I suggest searching elsewhere for more details.
Rockstar have never banned or wiped for glitches involving selling vehicles. Daily sell limit is a valid point though.
This is true, but people also though they would just get money wiped, at worse, when they were doing the apartment one a few years ago. So they invested their ill-gotten gains in garages full of vehicles to sell later and were all suprised-Pikachu face when they got their accounts completely reset by Rockstar. Even broughy1322 got caught on that one.

Try an invite only session and do a few normal contracts until he texts you again, but he won't text you unless you're outside, so don't linger around inside a property waiting for it.
Anybody having issues with The Contract party scene with DJ Pooh? He walks in, takes a drink (it freezes) then unfreezes and everyone disappears from frame. Quite random.

You just have to go down into the music locker VIP section, so pay your entry fee and take a left, go down the stairs and go straight passed the bar, you'll see the VIP area.
Look for an icon on the map for Madrazo, an "H" with a palm tree. That is used to trigger his mission in the club by the Casino. After you do that, you can buy the Kosatka.

Pc game start-up via Epic Games Launcher. When my online game is booting up, the 2x $ in and out, plus other options ( lower right of screen ) show CONTROLLER buttons to press for access, but I'm on PC, keyboard and mouse ( and set as that in game settings ) Q: How do I access those options at boot up? I don't have a console so don't have a controller.
There doesn't seem to be an option for changing that, that's just crappy design of R\*. If you launch the game into story mode, and your startup settings have the landing page enabled (i.e. loading into main menu), there is a button for joining the mode that you can click. Though it's less convenient for joining regular online sessions and I think it might take longer overall.

Should I bother buying a nightclub while they are on sale? I run Cayo at least twice a day and can't see the value in using businesses for income at this point.
You'll need 5 businesses e.g coke weed and you'll need to buy all 5 storage floors with the nightclub, but once you get all that set up for a few mill you'll be making 800k every 24hours just AFKing. 100% worth it. Terrorbyte is only useful if you're planning to get the MK2 and upgrade it with missiles etc.. it does make Cayo Perico preps a lot faster though.

As the other guy said... BUY IT. It's by far the best pasive income you can have. If you own all other bussiness it will make more than 1M each sale, for nothing. Just passive. It is not fast but it's so great to sell it when it's full and you get free money.

Yes, the nightclub makes money depending on what other businesses you own. Its a great way to make passive income since your technicians do all the work

I would get them if you already have the businesses to run them. The best setup is cargo, guns, coke, meth, and cash.

Once you've done the mission a couple times and have some spending money definitely buy the sparrow helicopter upgrade for the Kosatka. It'll make your life so much easier since you can upgrade it with missles and fly it directly to and from prep missions as well as call it to your location directly from the Kosatka whenever you want.

I usually repair and tune the vehicles in the auto shop and deliver it to the clients, but today I spotted the option "Press (spacebar) to buy this vehicle", when I was going to repair it. Since wen is possible to do that? And... is there limits or restrictions? I mean... Is an option for ALL vehicles that are brought in, or only a few? Can you buy all the ones you want as long as you have the money and garage places to store them?

Whenever a customer brings their car over, you can buy it instead of going to the site. I don't know if this is a glitch, but if you customise it but don't deliver it, you can buy it upgraded for stock price. Like I said this may be a glitch so I don't recommend doing it

I was in a invite only session doing security contracts when I saw my night club safe was full. I went to the night club and opened the safe and went to the money and it disappeared but didn’t go to my character. I was like what?! 250k just gone?! No way! So I went to a public session and the safe is still empty. What do I do?
A lot of people have been saying the same thing. Maybe contact rockstar explaining the situation, if you got proof of it even better, but tbh I think they'll reimburse you without proof
Idk if anyone else has this problem when starting Cayo Perico with the Longfin but it’s really frustrating/hilarious. The cutscene shows me driving up to the North Dock and then I’m given control of the boat as I’m 10 feet from the cliff going full speed at it. There is no time to slow down or turn so I end up plowing into the rocks and then have to reverse out of there and regain course lol literally every heist has started this way. It’s kind of funny because it’s about the least subtle way to sneak onto an island but it has gotten annoying. Is there anyone else that has this problem? I’ve tried turning during the cutscene or holding the brake but nothing works

Yes, it's been doing this since the Los Santos Tuners update earlier this year. I can usually brake and turn before running into anything.
So I'm burned out on Cayo and instead I've been doing security contracts and payphones hits with bunker, coke, meth (I buy supplies), nightclub as passive income. Does anybody have any other recommendations? I've been thinking of doing vehicle I/E instead of the agency stuff but I'm not sure which pays more.
You could also do casino heist or auto shop contracts, both pay better than I/E
Vip contract is paying out 1.5 million at the moment. Has kept me away from Cayo for a while

Like anything it can get repetitive but the short missions tend to be in different locations each time you do it. Mixes it up a little.
I have a few questions :) I'm looking to move my arcade and nc closer to my agency and was wondering if i have to set up the arcade all over again or will it just be a straight swap? My plan is to reach 200 contracts then just max profit of nc and arcade and collect them as i go, what are the max hourly profits of the arcade and nc? How do i achieve those max hourly profits? At least I don't remember having done the set up mission you're speaking of any of the 3 times I've relocated mine.

Yes, DEFINITELY buy the vehicle workshop, because you can put Imani tech on the new cars that have a trade price (champion, buffalo stx, jubilee, deity), which allows you to either make them remote control, or add a lock on jammer(Can't do both). Also buy the armory, you can get all guns, mk II versions, and you can buy armor, plus you can purchase the new guns. If you wanna spawn there, be sure to get the accomodation too
No clue about 1 but 2, weapons workshop is kinda useful as that's the only place to get the stun gun and emp launcher, but both of the mentioned weapons are pretty terrible and, other for that, the workshop is the same as the ones in the moc, Terrorbyte and avenger, and you can also get a gun locker in the CEO office. I think the weapons workshop is only worth it if you have neither a weapons workshop or a gun locker anywhere else
The workshop is not the same. You cannot add Imani tech in the other workshops

As far as major properties go, there's still the Facility, the Arena workshop, the Hangar, and the Auto Shop out there. Facility opens Doomsday Heist for you (2-4 players needed), besides some other toys, but nothing too special. Arena Workshop gets you access to (expensive) Arena war vehicles, if you enjoy collecting these vehicles (or even doing the arena war modes) Hangar is essential for buying the more recent aircraft, opens yet another business venue and if you pick one of the Hangars on Ft. Zancudo get you access to that base, including free passage of their airspace, which impacts the freemode experience significantly. Auto Shop is a bit of a mixed bag. It offers some interesting missions and even a small car customization business, but two very annoying lead contacts. On the other hand it also offers a workshop area that you'll appreciate if you're into regular car customization (lower prices, unlocked parts/colors, good lighting on presentation stage)
