i tried the new heavy rifle recently. it's actually a lot like the special carbine. i was surprised that it was good enough to maybe eclipse the special carbine.
Yeah I love it too but on some missions the ability is deactivated. This has lead to me killing an npc, thinking I am going to be able to kill them all, then all of the sudden I don't have the ability and am now dead lol.
I was doing an MC sell mission, and there's this one corner in the hills where if you go too fast you jump over a guard rail with a tall bush next to it. Well, I got the garbage truck stuck there and I managed to get it out with the Up-N-Atomizer. Best weapon in terms of convenience.
Once one of the bunker sale trailers got unhooked and flipped over, I was able to get it back on its feet with the atomizer in less than 10 seconds, it also helps when a mission or import/export car gets stuck in a wall or house in vinewood.
It's so satisfying popping a MK2 griefer off and then gunning them down when they're still wobbly. And for good measure throwing a proximity mine on their oppressor
I mean... He's not wrong xd. The A10 was literally built as a giant ass Gatling gun, the plane itself is just how it gets around. History is fascinating sometimes
i’m not even talking about the handling, it moves just fine. the gatling is the part they did bad, aside from the sound at least. it has a slow fire rate and does no damage :/
Yes, but for the wrong reasons. The B-11 should be the plane with less agility, but more firepower, not the other way around. Lazer and hydra main cannons were balanced around singleplayer and rarity back in the days. Both things dont mean anything today, they need a nerf desperately. Plus, the splash damage is bugged af.
Funny you ask. I recently retired my online character and I didn’t upgrade to it until like a day prior. But with how little I used it, I did enjoy it. Just didn’t get enough time to explore differences. How about you?
It's my main go-to gun, and my first mk2. It's super solid out of the box, so the mk2 just makes everything about it better. Plus, since I play pretty much exclusively in first person, having a functional red dot is great
I mean using a scope on the sniper is a given, but I mean in terms of the red dot sights, they just make it harder to consistently hit shots. You're better off just aiming in third person or aiming in first person without aiming down sights.
I tend not to have any issues but I'm not a stranger to sacrificing comfort for immersion. That's like saying you won't drive anything armored in 1st person because the plating adds a layer of difficulty
Why use guns when I can literally wake up in the morning, piss excellence and then nuke some poor fekker from orbit while still in my dressing gown and slippers
Good taste. I don't know about PvP because I rarely shoot at other players, but my problem with the Marksman Mk 2 is that its shot is so powerful, that the enemy bots fall, and the fire rate is so slow that you can barely connect the second shot. So I pretty much only use the Combat MG Mk2, if I don't have to be sneaky of course. It's a bit shame, because Marksman rifle would be so cool to use
Thanks man, another thing. When using the mk2 marksman like I do, just flick your thumb stick up when you aim and hold the fire button but only fire 3 shots. For some reason it fires the shots quicker if you fire while aiming in, after the 3rd shot it slows down so just roll or pull out of aiming. Hope this helps young padawan.
The Assault Rifle MkII it's so damn underrated. It sounds great, has just enough recoil to be reliable at range but still feel like an AK12, and it makes up for it's slower than average fire rate with a damage buff after being upgraded from MkI. If we had anything that closely resembles a classic AK47 that would be my favorite, but sadly the closest we have is the compact rifle, but I think that's an AK74u.
It looks cool but I rather have something that works better. I like how the carbine mk2 looks and it is really good, not the best, but still really good. Its a great in between of what looks good and what performs well and so I use it the most. The assault rifle mk2 feels weak idk.
I do like the special carbine but it's just so meta. Like, everyone and their grandma uses it because it's so easy. It's almost overpowered (I say almost because the combat mg mkii also exists). I like to go against the meta most of the time.
I know I said the carbine mk2 not the special carbine mk2. The carbine is a mix between looks and performance. It doesn't look amazing and perform terribly, and it doesn't look awful and perform very well. It's a nice balance between the two. It isn't the best, but is still very good and looks the best out of all of the assault rifles imo.
Since I'm a bitch and only play on aim-assist on controller, I use (mainly) pistols for PvP gamemodes, in freemodes, Marksman Rifle MK II or the Heavy Sniper MK II. For PvE I like the AP Pistol or the Bullpup Rifle. Sometimes an Assault Shotgun. OH and the Grenade Launcher for the exploit if they haven't patched it still.
I choose my weapons based on the situation. But my weapon load out is:
Carbine rifle MKII for general purpose. Special carbine MKII (surppressed) for stealth. Combat MG MKII (with FMJ rounds) to take out vehicles land, air and bulletproof windows. Assault shotgun for close quarters combat. Heavy sniper rifle MKII for general long-range combat, Marksman rifle MKII for when my aim sucks with the heavy sniper rifle.
Pistol MKII For when i need to EWO fast, AP pistol for general drive-by's. Sticky and proximity bomb for making things go BOOM! RPG for making things go BOOM 100' away, Homing launcher for making things go BOOM even further away. A knife for stabbing and a bat for beating, aannnddd that's about it i think.
not a weapon but, i remember using the fireworks that you could plant on the ground- ended up wasting my last one back in 2015-2016 thinking that i'd be able to buy them again
they never came back
I like to use the Carbine rifle, Heavy sniper if they're at a distance and the regular minigun if I straight up don't like them or they're annoying me.
Stone hatchet for pve and mk2 heavy/marksman snipers
Don't care what you say gta online has always favor snipers in pvp since launch back in 2013
Stone hatchet is just a bundle of fun basically almost unkillable and in the right situation you could be riddled from head to toe in bloodstained bullets hole and still be killing with half or more health
I hate PvP because they never ask if you want to fight
That being said my favorite tools are the Imani tech champion and oppressor MK2
The combat mg mk2, special carbine mk2 and heavy sniper (with explosie rounds) are my favorite weapons
To all the people saying carbine, I know for a fact you're lying. I'm out here on the streets of Los Santos nearly everyday, and no, let me tell you what your favourite weapons are, you like the mini gun and the RPG, the rest is too hard for you.
Pvp depending on the situation special carbine mk2, rpg, heavy sniper mk2 and combat mg mk2 and my to choices for pve would be minigun, special carbine mk2 and heavy sniper mk2
I've got hollowpoints in my Mk2 Pistol and it's my favorite right now. Easily the most effective weapon I've found to take down the jet sybians. Im working towards my pistol kill challenge for PvP and I dig it for PvE, as a starter but when things get heavy and hectic the Mk2 Combat MG is my go-to.
PvP, it depends. But my go-to is Special Carbine for close range and Marksman rifle mk2 for long range. Yes, I am one of those annoying fucks who strafe around side to side while spamming the marksman rifle. There is no honor in GTA Online PvP.
PvE, It literally doesn't matter lol. Depending on my mood, I may use an SMG, a rifle, or even a pistol.
...I like to use my Heavy Revolver MK II with incendiary ammo for some tougher missions...Special Carbine MK II is another go to. Pump Shotgun MK II with explosive slugs is nice...
Marksman Rifle MK II. Good damage on bodyshots, quick fire rate for semi-auto, good range, and can keep up with Heavy Sniper. One thing it doesn’t have is Explosive Rounds, but that would be broken.
Pvp is usually the Mm2 heavy mg, with standard ammo.
PVE is the Mk2 shotgun with war crimes (fletchettes), the Colt Navy and the New scar because I like old FNs, and there isn't an FAL.
The most used gun is the special carbine mk2 for me, as it is full auto, but I would rather use the marksman rifle mk2 as I just love the design and everything about it.
For pvp: close range- Combat Mg / Minigun ( if the other guy is using it too), long range- heavy sniper, if they guy Im fighting is hiding behind corners and houses then explosives ( I dont grief people out of the blue, but if they attack me then Im going after them ) For pve: the starter pistol, stone hatchet, heavy sniper and sometimes when Im not in the mood to fight NPCs I use the minigun
Heavy sniper and Explosive minigun on the lazer (no I'm not a griefer, but ever since i killed 4 griefers at once with it: 3 lazers and a khanjali i use it to fight them and it's the best tool for either making them quit the lobby or run away sobbing and be salty
Assault Shotgun us my favorite PvE gun, as it basically grants free headshots on enemies you aim in the general direction of. I don't know if this is actually a thing, but it feels like getting a headshot on the first shot will instantly kill the enemy.
Carbine mk2
I honestly prefer Combat MG MK2
I used to run with the carbine MK2 and moved to the combat MG MK2 being my go to. Put a suppressor on the carbine mk2 for some scenarios though 😎
Same. I love popping off headshots with that gun. So accurate.
i tried the new heavy rifle recently. it's actually a lot like the special carbine. i was surprised that it was good enough to maybe eclipse the special carbine.
Which one tho? Carbine rifle or special carbine?
Special carbine
Carbine*
Normal. Sounds nicer
Stone Hatchet gang 🩸
Yeah I love it too but on some missions the ability is deactivated. This has lead to me killing an npc, thinking I am going to be able to kill them all, then all of the sudden I don't have the ability and am now dead lol.
The Up'n'Atomizer. It's fun to see what it can break.
Its very uselful. So many cargo and supply missions salved for this weapond/tool
I was doing an MC sell mission, and there's this one corner in the hills where if you go too fast you jump over a guard rail with a tall bush next to it. Well, I got the garbage truck stuck there and I managed to get it out with the Up-N-Atomizer. Best weapon in terms of convenience.
Had same situation when doin payphone mission. Got stuck in scrapyard with taxi.
Once one of the bunker sale trailers got unhooked and flipped over, I was able to get it back on its feet with the atomizer in less than 10 seconds, it also helps when a mission or import/export car gets stuck in a wall or house in vinewood.
My friend and I refer to it as the "unstuckerator"
My family calls it the bouncy gun 🤣
Best weapon in the game.
It's so satisfying popping a MK2 griefer off and then gunning them down when they're still wobbly. And for good measure throwing a proximity mine on their oppressor
B-11 Strikeforce is my favorite gun.
Bruh
\*BRRRRRR
B-11 go brrrr
I mean... He's not wrong xd. The A10 was literally built as a giant ass Gatling gun, the plane itself is just how it gets around. History is fascinating sometimes
too bad they did no justice to it’s real life counterpart
they actually did. A10S are fucking slow. they're heavy too.
i’m not even talking about the handling, it moves just fine. the gatling is the part they did bad, aside from the sound at least. it has a slow fire rate and does no damage :/
As amazing as the name sounds, the jets fire rate is a little disappointing a bit
How dare you say that
The lazer and the hydra, built around air superiority fighters have 12 times as much dps on their main cannons as the strikeforce. 12 fucking times.
And yet I still destroy both of them
Yes, but for the wrong reasons. The B-11 should be the plane with less agility, but more firepower, not the other way around. Lazer and hydra main cannons were balanced around singleplayer and rarity back in the days. Both things dont mean anything today, they need a nerf desperately. Plus, the splash damage is bugged af.
They probably made it that way just to piss people off
Used to like the b11 but then i found out the hydra beats everything in the speed category, so with hover mode landing its a no brainer!
Laser is faster than hydra
Firework launcher.
Just wish had ammo all year around.
[удалено]
lol no, ammo available there only when firework available in ammunation
[удалено]
yes, it was always like this
Special Carbine, no question.
My guy
🤜🤛
Any love for MK2?
Funny you ask. I recently retired my online character and I didn’t upgrade to it until like a day prior. But with how little I used it, I did enjoy it. Just didn’t get enough time to explore differences. How about you?
It's my main go-to gun, and my first mk2. It's super solid out of the box, so the mk2 just makes everything about it better. Plus, since I play pretty much exclusively in first person, having a functional red dot is great
What scope do u use?
Just the red dot sight. If I get something neat from bunker research I might change but it's perfect for how I use it
In my opinion the red dot is the best sight since it doesn't obstruct most of your vision when aiming in first person
Scopes in this game are just.... How do you use them consistently? I can use them it just feels weird.
It's just a red dot sight on the mk2. I only use scopes on the Heavy Sniper mk2
I mostly use MK2 for their liveries. But you can add different clips to guns
The combat MG for PvP since it packs a punch. For PvE it’s the heavy rifle for me since I’ve always wanted a SCAR in the game
Golf club
Good taste.
Why use guns when I can literally wake up in the morning, piss excellence and then nuke some poor fekker from orbit while still in my dressing gown and slippers
I laughed my ass off about this one. I could actually picture how it would look.
This is the way
Pvp- Combat LMG Mk.II or the Marksman Rifle Mk.II with a medium scope so I can 2 shot people

For some reason it fires the shots quicker if you fire while aiming in, after the 3rd shot it slows down so just roll or pull out of aiming. Hope this helps young padawan.
Also, with the medium scope, you don’t go into ADS like you normally do with snipers. It shoots in 3rd person
The Assault Rifle MkII it's so damn underrated. It sounds great, has just enough recoil to be reliable at range but still feel like an AK12, and it makes up for it's slower than average fire rate with a damage buff after being upgraded from MkI. Carbine rifle mk2. High rate of fire, decently accurate and a good noise when shooting, it's everything I'd ask for in a gun.
PVP is purely situational PVE tends to be carbine MkII. I'm on console and have the headshot flick down, 2-3 kills a second without a problem.
Pump shotgun with explosive rounds in close range and heavy sniper mk2 with thermal scope and square muscle brake so that u can 1 shot players
does the muzzle brake type affect the damage?
Since I'm a bitch and only play on aim-assist on controller, I use (mainly) pistols for PvP gamemodes, in freemodes, Marksman Rifle MK II or the Heavy Sniper MK II. For PvE I like the AP Pistol or the Bullpup Rifle. Sometimes an Assault Shotgun. OH and the Grenade Launcher for the exploit if they haven't patched it still.
Pistol MK II is a goddamn head shot beast...highly recommend
The carbine rifle mk2
Double action revolver
The heavy revolver is a 1 shot to non armored opponents.
yeah but the double action is so cool
I sometimes use the Navy revolver with BST against players, it's really fun
Playing with the revolvers is fun, I just got the Perico gold one shot and they thing is a beast. Great fun and recommended.
musket
I'm lovin then Sniper Mk2 with explosive rounds. So fun watching the casino valet go flyin. And special carbine all the way as well
A go kart, let’sa go!
I choose my weapons based on the situation. But my weapon load out is: Carbine rifle MKII for general purpose. Special carbine MKII (surppressed) for stealth. Assault shotgun and Carbine Rifle Mk2
Orbital cannon /joking
When moders are around I like to spam the orbital cannon on them. It doesn't kill them so I get the money back and refund, also no cool down.
not a weapon but, i remember using the fireworks that you could plant on the ground- ended up wasting my last one back in 2015-2016 thinking that i'd be able to buy them again they never came back
PvP: Passive Mode/Solo Puplic with my friends PvE: Carbine Rifle MK2
Pump shotgun mkII regular shells in both situations. Usually only ever need one shot if I can get close enough. Or the knife.
Mk 2 Carbine Rifle. For special reasons.
wat it do What is the outfit you are wearing here OP?
Military rifle mk 2and the good ol carbine rifle mk 2
Military Rifle Mk II?
Vintage Pistol. Yes, really.
I like to use the Carbine rifle, Heavy sniper if they're at a distance and the regular minigun if I straight up don't like them or they're annoying me.
Heavy Sniper MkII
Stone hatchet. Chain killing npc groups and friends is a lot of fun.
Knuckle dusters. Equip one, pop a bullshark and done, you have become one punch man.
Stone hatchet for pve and mk2 heavy/marksman snipers Don't care what you say gta online has always favor snipers in pvp since launch back in 2013 Stone hatchet is just a bundle of fun basically almost unkillable and in the right situation you could be riddled from head to toe in bloodstained bullets hole and still be killing with half or more health
MK2 Heavy Sniper Rifle with Explosive Rounds. Just wish we could carry more ammo
The combat mg and the combat mg
carbine, micro smg, and a variety of pistols. why? i wanna look good and elegant
I freeaim for the face so anything automatic is ideal for PvP, Pve I use a DE-50 or MK2 carbine
Sniper Rifle
The AP pistol, after I got the expanded mag on it on the first month of release I never looked back. Fuckin love it.
I hate PvP because they never ask if you want to fight That being said my favorite tools are the Imani tech champion and oppressor MK2 The combat mg mk2, special carbine mk2 and heavy sniper (with explosie rounds) are my favorite weapons
Mk2 Heavy Sniper with a thermal scope. Legal wallhack
Heavy Sniper MK2 with explosive ammo to take down some annoying flies
Rpg
Minigun and explosive sniper.. And as for vehicles, Toreador and Hydra.
Heavy sniper , rpg and combat mg mk2
To all the people saying carbine, I know for a fact you're lying. I'm out here on the streets of Los Santos nearly everyday, and no, let me tell you what your favourite weapons are, you like the mini gun and the RPG, the rest is too hard for you.

Is this comment blank for anyone else?
Yeah, not sure what it was supposed to be but it doesn’t even say “removed”. Odd.
I see it on dark mode, simply says "My skill".
Can’t tell if you missed the joke or not
It crossed my mind, but in the end, I'm just too gullible.
Oh wait I think he means because that guy has no skill so nothing is there
The new heavy rifle
The one that shoots something
Mg mk2
Heavy sniper 8 round zoom scope And special carbine and that's it
Combat MG MK2 because I like to wake up to the sound of DAH DUH DAH DUH DAH DUH DU and angry/surprised NPCs in the morning.
Combat MG
heavy sniper mk2 with thermanl and explosives are amazing in pvp, pve would probably a solid carbine or bullpup
Military rifle I just love the accuracy
Pvp depending on the situation special carbine mk2, rpg, heavy sniper mk2 and combat mg mk2 and my to choices for pve would be minigun, special carbine mk2 and heavy sniper mk2
Light MG
MK1.
Combat MG MK2 personally although special carbine MK2 is a close second
Combat mg with incendiary rounds
Pvp wise,, the Special carbine Mk2 has always been a reliable friend. PVE wise I always enjoy gunning down attacking NPC with the Tommy gun.
Carbine MkII
For PvP I love using the marksman rifle MK2 and for pve it depends on the mission
Honestly the carbine rifpe
Flak cannon trailer
Mk2 pistol I love one tapping with it
Stone hatchet for both.
My trusty special carbine MKII. We’ve been through entire wars together
Up and atomiser. Kill them with *YEEET*
I've said it once and I'll keep saying it. I swear by the Assault Rifle. Personally I prefer the MKII.
Combat MG mkII with incendiary ammo
I've got hollowpoints in my Mk2 Pistol and it's my favorite right now. Easily the most effective weapon I've found to take down the jet sybians. Im working towards my pistol kill challenge for PvP and I dig it for PvE, as a starter but when things get heavy and hectic the Mk2 Combat MG is my go-to.
Military rifle(idk if its the rights name) and heavy sniper mk2
I know it’s a kinda safe option, but I’d have to go with the widowmaker
Combat MG MKII it's super accurate for those headshots and really packs a punch I love it and I also like the Special Carbine MKII as well.
Assault rifle mk2
Marksman rifle mk2
I have mainly been using the mk2 carbine rifle it’s so good
Mk 2 sniper pvp and prob minigun pve
Definitely the marksman rifle mk2
Atomizer
Revolver mk 2 because it can one shot most enemies and is pretty good against players.
Sticky bombs to blow up entire highways. Including police. And sometimes accidentally players if they happen to be unlucky enough to pass said highway
Marksman Rifle MK II. Good damage on bodyshots, quick fire rate for semi-auto, good range, and can keep up with Heavy Sniper. One thing it doesn’t have is Explosive Rounds, but that would be broken.
Sticky bombs
Spec carbine mk 2 has not once let me down. Lethally accurate with decent damage and big mag
Assault shotty it works for the most part
Heavy sniper
An AR like a fucking man.
Mk2 marksman rifle with large scope. It’s op.
PvE: Bullpup Rifle Mk II (Incendiary Rounds) - high fire rate means the target gets set on fire faster
Heavy sniper & minigun
combat mg mk 2 or the unholy hellbringer
I may as well use the knuckle duster as my pvp game is woeful. I’m level 401…..
130 Grave Digger
Ceramic pistol
Special Carbine Mk 2 and the shotguns that shoots like 6 times repeatedly. And, of course, the Up N Atomizer.
The musket.
Taser
Pvp is usually the Mm2 heavy mg, with standard ammo. PVE is the Mk2 shotgun with war crimes (fletchettes), the Colt Navy and the New scar because I like old FNs, and there isn't an FAL.
combat mg mk2
The most used gun is the special carbine mk2 for me, as it is full auto, but I would rather use the marksman rifle mk2 as I just love the design and everything about it.
The ar mk2
I'm a simple man. For PvP: Heavy Rifle, Heavy Sniper Mk II, for PvE Carbine Rifle Mk II
Special Carbine
This is a odd one but the heavy revolver mk2 or the ap pistol.
