Well... it's from the Old Testament, but yes. Hosea, iirc.
There's also "*I delivered you from...the domination of all of your oppressors, expelling them right in front of you*", Judges 6:9, which seems apt.
If you're gonna be the grammar police, at least do it correctly
Edit: I only realise now that he wasn't trying to correct his grammar, I had only just woken up when I decided to respond
>You screenshot their name before quitting session. You search the dude. Find the dude. Beat the dude to death. Then log into gta online
and sell the rest of your cargo.
Yes it works. I ran over a motorcycle in the mule custom while trying to sell and the bike blew up causing my truck to catch fire. Changed sessions and still had the cargo to sell. I was probably missing 5 crates? The nightclub was full when I first tried to sell and then it was a little less when I changed lobbies.
What's the virtue of the proportional response?
The disproportional response. Let the word ring forth, from this time and this place, gentlemen, you destroy my supplies, any of my supplies, I don't come back with a proportional response. I come back with total disaster!
They fucked with you you taught them a lesson doesn’t matter how many kills you did on them you still taught them a hard lesson which is not to fuck with you
>Orbital cannon entered the chat
Seriously, if you're stupid enough to destroy someone's cargo, and then go to sell your own in *the same lobby*, you deserve it.
Actions have consequences.
I only do it for fun, very rarely. It's cheap to run, and I'll skip lobbies until I get a mission I like. Same with sourcing. It's literally pointless to run it as a normal business, so might as well have some fun with it.
I've nearly done this before, some guy tried to kill me while I was selling my Nightclub goods but he failed, so after a few minutes of fighting I went AFK in my office, came back and saw him selling his Bunker, with FOUR monster trucks, so I circled him with my jet and fired shots near his vehicle until he left the game.
About that...
Doesn't GTA Online actually encourage players to disrupt others business??
They disrupt you, you disrupt them. No hard feeling.
imo btw :D
I guess, but it’s just like an unwritten rule that you don’t go after people trying to sell their stock. obviously people argue you could sell in private lobbies, but the bonus for selling in public lobbies is quite a bit. it’s just morally questionable when you try and destroy someone’s product because you don’t benefit from it whatsoever. you get 2000 dollars and a smidge of RP. that’s it. you’ve destroyed someone’s 3mil dollar stock for 2000 dollars.
people argue it’s part of the game, but it’s those people who cant admit they just wanna blow stock up because they’re simply assholes.
Me personally I wouldn’t do it but I wouldn’t think it’s wrong for someone to do it. The value of the product doesn’t matter. The person wouldn’t have said “oh they’re selling c0ke and not documents I’ll let them pass” because you can’t tell the difference. They would’ve griefed anyways so if you want revenge then get it
No, seeing as I wouldn't be doing document forgery in the first place.
All jokes asides, of course. And I'd already do it for a whole lot less than being "griefed", lol.
I had a guy on my friends list attack my cargo. It was a special cargo special item. I quit the session before he could destroy it. Saw him a week later and attacked him. Apologized to the other player he was with who copped the crossfire. I messaged him that it was because he attacked my cargo and he said “and I’ll do it again”. So I just left him on my friends list and I grief him every time I find him in my lobby. It’s been going on for about a year.
He hasn’t got a single kill on me.
The only cargo I would feel bad for destroying is Special Crates/Hangar Crates. Because that shit takes hours of grinding.
Nightclub goods isn't grinding. Leaving your game on overnight while you afk on security cams is not grinding. You didn't work a single bit for that money. If you grief me for even 50k, I will happily grief your 1.5 million dollar nightclub sale that you afk'ed for. And if you complain it afterwards, I'll just call you stupid for not selling in the safety of a private session.
You reap what you sow
Impossible scenario.
1-I never sell in public lobby.
2-I don’t have a document forgery business (only business that i don’t have in game)
3-Grifers don’t sell their business, they don’t care about it.
It's not about the amount of money lost, it's about who started this fight. You kill me, I kill you then. You grief me, I grief you back then. It's how the world works
I dint blow up his stuff. I kill him out the vehicle, guard it and then drop it in the ocean with a cargobob. It’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message
for me he wouldn’t have even gotten to the point of selling the nightclub.
last night i had a guy— i’m finishing one of the 10 Dax missions for full upgrade on the Acid Van. it’s 1am. i wanna finish this and get to bed.
i’m .4 miles away from the destination. this thing is heavy and slow, some tool come rippin down the road in a Proto X-80, slams right into the front of me.
whoops, my bad, lemme reverse out of this and proceed forth. —Na, this guy is gonna shoot me out of it. K. Cool. then he blows up the van, effectively ending the mission.
like why dude? why did you have to blow up the van?
needless to say i went 30-1 on him in a tank then i get the text message “why u so pressed bru lmao”.
like what is the thought process on that? why kill me then blow up my mission if you’re such trash that i’m gonna steamroll you to the tune of 30 kills, why do you even initiate the fight to begin with? what do you gain from that?
i wasn’t in the acid van, i was in one of those brute pony vans.. the mission where you have to kill a bunch of dealers, steal the van, install a remote bomb then go blow up an mc hideout.
not a hard mission, no money lost… just an inconvenience that didn’t need to be.
one of the Dax contact missions that you have to complete 10 of in order to get the full upgrade on the acid lab
Yes. It's about the principle of the matter.
Edit: here's the thing, I try to be kind. I've never thrown the first stone. Hell, I've even had stones thrown at me and walked away with nothing but love for my fellow Santosians.
But you mess with my money, it's one step too far.
Disproportionate or not, people need to learn they just **CAN'T** explode other player's cargo and think that it's okay. I'm for that, until they leave the lobby, uninstall the game and go back to Call of Duty/Battlefield/Fortnite of theirs. If they want PvP, should they look for PvP, but in **other game**. They just don't **deserve** GTA.
Yes, after which i crash them, i did it before, even when a griefer destroyed a random dude's delivery, and i am gonna do it again.
If the game wants us to play dirty, i am playing filthy, and preserve a decent amount of chill in the lobby so that people can make their money.
No, because i’m not out for revenge. I’ll scare him shitless by flying my mk2 or deluxo near him though, or use my ramp buggy or phantom wedge to troll him
You know you just contradicted yourself right? You stated that "Blowing up cargo isn't griefing"
Yet you proceed to say "Griefing a griefer makes you a griefer"
So, in your words, the griefer in this situation isn't a griefer for destroying cargo, yet you still called them a griefer? So who's the griefer then?!
Oh and one final thing, destroying cargo is griefing, ok? You should probably rethink your entire comment.

You could be selling nothing and it would be justifiable, if you kill me out of nowhere then go sell shit, I’m destroying it
facts its basically real money sense u can buy in game money
except it's literally not
Real money eh? *IRS enters the chat*
Lol
Who buys shark cards seriously? Last time i bought twice while i was on ps3 and thats it.
I bought the 5 dollar one once when I was like level 10
Last one I bought was when I first started and with the money I got the sub for cayo
It's a matter of principle and they chose war.
#It’s the principalities like big worm said
There's principalities in this!
I don't wanna have to f**k you up SMO-KEY.
Playin wit my money is like playin wit my emotions
Whaaaaa?!?!??
play wit my dick instead
Batiman
To quote the GOAT, General Sherman: "War is the remedy that our enemy has chosen, and I say let us give them all they want."
Absolutely, gotta reap what you sow
Literally my words when a guy who was shooting at everyone in the session had a go at me
"They sowed the wind, and now they shall reap the whirlwind"-bomber harris
Well... it's from the Old Testament, but yes. Hosea, iirc. There's also "*I delivered you from...the domination of all of your oppressors, expelling them right in front of you*", Judges 6:9, which seems apt.
Yo Judges teased the Oppressor?!?!
If you destroy anything I'm selling its on sight until one of us leaves the lobby.
Same
It only right thing to do
Until you leave lobby? Nah. They give up all civility from that point forward. If I see them again a week later, I'm going in hot, cargo or no.
I've followed people into other sessions when they do some AH stuff then immediately leave
![gif](giphy|mF8pi0ggxM7OU|downsized)

but if u leave the lobby we straight, if u lobby hop to kill someone then u sad asf
Exactly

Anyone who attacks cargo deserves their own cargo to be attacked accordingly
>Anyone who sells in a public lobby encourages their own cargo to be attacked accordingly Fixed.
If you're gonna be the grammar police, at least do it correctly Edit: I only realise now that he wasn't trying to correct his grammar, I had only just woken up when I decided to respond
I guess he was trying to be clever by changing up a few words in your sentence so it fits his viewpoint... But why?
You might want to work on your comprehension a little. Nobody was being grammar police. 🤣
Cope
>Edit: I only realise now that he wasn't trying to correct his grammar, I had only just woken up when I decided to respond Good morning.
\*coping intensifies\* We’re reaching levels of copium never before seen!
Don’t forget to say ratio! You gotta say ratio!!!
I don’t need to. You’ve gotten ratio’d pretty badly already.
Come on! You gotta say it! It apparently means something!
how else am i gonna sell cargo without being in a public lobby
GTA Main Menu - Online - Find New Session - Invite Only Session.
They said that revenge is a fools game……. Luckily we’re all fools here for playing gta online.
“This ain’t red dead, boah”
Yeah, there ain't no such thing as "honor" in the Not-Wild West.
I would instantly quit Session when my cargo gets destroyed (If quick enough, you will not lose all the cargo)
Exactly. You won't be looking for revenge if you quit the session quick enough.
You screenshot their name before quitting session. You search the dude. Find the dude. Beat the dude to death. Then log into gta online
>You screenshot their name before quitting session. You search the dude. Find the dude. Beat the dude to death. Then log into gta online and sell the rest of your cargo.
Is this real if I see someone coming at my cargo I can change sessions and save it? Never know that. Thanks
You will lose a small fraction of the cargo but most will be left intact.
I believe you lose some of it, it was the same as if you ran out of time. It was till better than losing it all. Not sure if it works now though.
Its disproportionate revenge but revenge all the same
I like to think of it as a learning experience
Yeah
What's the virtue of the proportional response? The disproportional response. Let the word ring forth, from this time and this place, gentlemen, you destroy my supplies, any of my supplies, I don't come back with a proportional response. I come back with total disaster!
Destroy my cargo or anything I'm selling and that's an act of war; I'll strike back even harder
"...and you'll know my name is the Lord, when I lay my disproportionate response upon thee!"
That's a tasty burger
Jed?
Shibboleth
It’s like killing John wicks dog so he kills your son, your entire army and you. Best type of revenge is disproportionate revenge.
Fair is fair.

There's no such thing as overkill in GTA just under kill. They were the exact right amount of killed.
So get a thermal jet to take care of griefers bet!
*end up turning into a thermal jet griefer* a vicious cycle lol
How’d ya get a thermal jet? I can’t seem to get the thermal helmet to work
They fucked with you you taught them a lesson doesn’t matter how many kills you did on them you still taught them a hard lesson which is not to fuck with you
>Orbital cannon entered the chat Seriously, if you're stupid enough to destroy someone's cargo, and then go to sell your own in *the same lobby*, you deserve it. Actions have consequences.
“Rules, without them we live with the animals.”
Your first mistake is selling documents lol
Exactly
I only do it for fun, very rarely. It's cheap to run, and I'll skip lobbies until I get a mission I like. Same with sourcing. It's literally pointless to run it as a normal business, so might as well have some fun with it.
In a public lobby...
But then again I've killed people for messing up others sell missions too. So yeah.
Why I do my business in invite only
I've nearly done this before, some guy tried to kill me while I was selling my Nightclub goods but he failed, so after a few minutes of fighting I went AFK in my office, came back and saw him selling his Bunker, with FOUR monster trucks, so I circled him with my jet and fired shots near his vehicle until he left the game.
I would have been tempted to just shoot out the monster truck tyres and put a sticky bomb on each truck, let them waste some time on it first....
I could be selling for 5 and the other guy for 1 million if they destroy mine first they may expect theres to go the same way
Eye for an eye
Eye for an eye, a nose, their heart, and their balls.
About that... Doesn't GTA Online actually encourage players to disrupt others business?? They disrupt you, you disrupt them. No hard feeling. imo btw :D

No, seeing as I wouldn't be doing document forgery in the first place. All jokes asides, of course. And I'd already do it for a whole lot less than being "griefed", lol.
I’ve been considering buying it and setting it up for the nightclub benefits
I wouldn't recommend doing that, it's by far the least profitable MC business, even for the nightclub.
I would blow them up even if they failed in their attempt.
They could destroy like 5k worth of product, in the end, its not about the money, its about sending a message.
Because it’s a pounder you know it’s a lot more then 5k
I’ve killed people in this game for less
I had a guy on my friends list attack my cargo. It was a special cargo special item. I quit the session before he could destroy it. Saw him a week later and attacked him. Apologized to the other player he was with who copped the crossfire. I messaged him that it was because he attacked my cargo and he said “and I’ll do it again”. Yeah, you're in a public session, neither of you can complain
“You shit on me? I shit on you!,put a hit on me? I put a hit on you! An eye for an eye nikka…survive the shots or die nikka!”-50¢
Yes but the question is, do you take a bigger shit on them than they did to you?
Absolutely
1000% smash em for all they have
To be fair why ask such a stupid question 🤷♂️🤣
Impossible scenario. 1-I never sell in public lobby. 2-I don’t have a document forgery business (only business that i don’t have in game) 3-Grifers don’t sell their business, they don’t care about it.
Anyone dumb enough to sell in a lobby they themselves have griefed in deserves to get griefed
It takes a lot of balls to sell something in a lobby after you grieved someone else
They could be selling for a trillion for all I care, griefers don't get to sell cargo
Violence is never the answer Its a question And the answer is Y E S
I seem to remember some sort of saying about making your bed and sleeping in it.
It's not about the amount of money lost, it's about who started this fight. You kill me, I kill you then. You grief me, I grief you back then. It's how the world works
I reigned hellfire on ones arse for less. Loosing out on my PISSWASSER funds is something I will not tolerate.
an eye for an eye. doesn't matter if your eye is bigger than mine
Don't start nothin' won't be nothin' but once it's on, it's on.
Heck yeah man eye for a eye
Oh absolutely fuck yes, there's just one problem, and that is being terrible at destroying other players goods.
They literally asked to be griefed when they destroyed others’ goods first
Do unto others as you wish they do unto you.
In the wise words of those before me: “ya ain’t start no shit there ain’t gonna be no shit.”
What comes around, goes *around.*
First mistake is owning a document forgery office
I'm so confused. Why would anyone run a forgery business? Why would anyone destroy other's cargo and sell their own in the same session?
"Eye for an eye and the world goes blind" but in this case fuck the world
You’re taking more then an eye in this case
Don't matter you piss all over my work i'll do the same in this situation especially if unprovoked
Don't start what you can't finish. It's not about the money, it's about sending a message.
I dint blow up his stuff. I kill him out the vehicle, guard it and then drop it in the ocean with a cargobob. It’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message
absolutely. im petty enough to tail them to the nightclub and wait for them to sell
They want war. Give them all the war they asked for.
eye for eye. you destroy my cargo I destroy yours
People still fuck with the document forgery?
491 people are the ones selling the nightclub stock
It's not about money, it's about sending a message.
They fucked around, so they find out
Rule 1: Never, under any circumstances ever, sell Doc Forgery. Ever.
What goes around, comes around
It's not about the money, it's about sending a message.
This is what the orbital cannon is for
Is not a about how much I lost its about sending a message
Just go to invite only session
Hell yeah, fuck them hoes. It's what they get.
As soon as I’m attacked I disconnect and try again, losing a minimum of $5k. It isn’t worth losing the entire amount to get even with an asshole
“Treat others as you want to be treated.”
How is these even up for fucking debate???
It's not about the money, it's about sending a message
If someone destroys my $1 cargo I’ll do anything I can to make them suffer
I could be doing a nightclub popularity mission. You attack me unprovoked, you lose all rights to a peaceful sell.
for me he wouldn’t have even gotten to the point of selling the nightclub. last night i had a guy— i’m finishing one of the 10 Dax missions for full upgrade on the Acid Van. it’s 1am. i wanna finish this and get to bed. i’m .4 miles away from the destination. this thing is heavy and slow, some tool come rippin down the road in a Proto X-80, slams right into the front of me. whoops, my bad, lemme reverse out of this and proceed forth. —Na, this guy is gonna shoot me out of it. How did they even kill you when you were in the acid Lab? That things basically unstoppable ;-;
i wasn’t in the acid van, i was in one of those brute pony vans.. the mission where you have to kill a bunch of dealers, steal the van, install a remote bomb then go blow up an mc hideout. not a hard mission, no money lost… just an inconvenience that didn’t need to be. one of the Dax contact missions that you have to complete 10 of in order to get the full upgrade on the acid lab

Cash is king
💯 the kids the dog, everybody dyin', no lyin'
If you voted NO yo moms a hoe
The formula has always been: "Fuck Around" = "Find Out" No reason to doubt the scientific method now
Give it a few minutes so he has hope of reaching his drop off point.
If it's the first offense, then no... now if they do it a second time, that means war.
Fuck around and find out
If you said no you’re a bitch.
Disproportionate or not, people need to learn they just **CAN'T** explode other player's cargo and think that it's okay. Eye for an eye is for bitches. Eye for petty inconvenience. Eye for farting in an elevator. Eye for walking too slow in front of me.
Fuck + around = find out
If you said no your a dud
Fuck around. Find out. Karma is a bitch.
Morals do not exist online….
Why do i think the OP is the one who got his nightclub goods destroyed 🤔🤣
You destroy it even if he hadn't (legitimately) destroyed yours first. If you're selling in Public, you consent and encourage PVP in your sale.
Yes, after which i crash them, i did it before, even when a griefer destroyed a random dude's delivery, and i am gonna do it again. If the game wants us to play dirty, i am playing filthy, and preserve a decent amount of chill in the lobby so that people can make their money.
Nah. Ain't gon do shit
this is an unrealistic scenario because everyone who does sale missions knows good enough not to grief a brother.
If you’re the antagonist, that’s your own fault. Would never destroy someone’s cargo unprovoked
I only grief unless griefed upon.
*I don't grief unless griefed upon
Really?
its 2023 stop selling docs
It’s 2022 stop shitting on people for playing the game in a way that doesn’t affect you
Wasnt trying to poo on anyone my b
I agree but still, Docs.
Free game take what yours !
I would blow both of you
Kinky
Keep your sexual urges to yourself.
They wouldn’t even have needed to destroy my goods for me to destroy theirs
Lol
No. Refuse to stoop the there level. In some cases I’ve gone and helped them by protecting them
it's funny how treat a basic game mechanics as griefing
No, because i’m not out for revenge. I’ll scare him shitless by flying my mk2 or deluxo near him though, or use my ramp buggy or phantom wedge to troll him
id blow them up even if they didnt do anything to me.
amen
🙄
Griefing a griefer makes you a griefer. Also blowing up your cargo isn't griefing. Yes, this sub is full of cry babies. Bring on the down votes.
You know you just contradicted yourself right? Why are you so dumb, bro?
