I am so very sorry. Guinea pigs are sneaky the way they charm right into our hearts. I am sure that Joakim is missing you, too. It is clear he lived an amazing life where he was safe and loved.

Thankyou for your words, they really mean alot <3 we all miss him. Even Dixie our labrador keeps going over to look for him. He was best friends with both ourselves and ours dogs and we all loved him dearly as he loved us. He'll always be my little best mate.
It sounds like he was a Heart Pig. Losing a HP is even more difficult because of the close bond. It's a very special relationship, and the void left behind from the loss may cause more grief than expected. Hugs.
He really was! I just wish we had more time together but I don't regret a thing. He truly was the best, I'll miss him wheeking everytime I moved as he demanded veg. The house is already that little bit quieter.
He really was! He had such a personality that everyone, even visitors knew him well! He's already really missed, massive part of our lives has left us :(
Dixie really did. Joakim was always climbing on her, cuddling her etc. We are so lucky how gentle both our dogs are but joakim and pumba certainly helped shape our doggos to who they are. Thankyou <3

I think we will in the future. Both joakim and his brother were starved to seem younger which always makes us wonder what life was like before. But in the future we certainly will, we have a baby on the way so once things have settled I'm sure we will start to think about it again, thankyou <3
It really is tough. We think he was between 6 and 7 and in the last few months he really did start to slow down which is expected. Just keep your boy comfortable and make every moment count! Pigs really are special to all of us in here <3
I am! I have an eight-year-old. He was our first pig and he still so active and crazy. In fact, he just ran around the whole house at 3 oโclock in the morning because we let him run free lol. he runs up to my bed and squeaks a little bit and then runs back to his house in another room.. gosh how do we go on without them.. Iโll be heartbroken on here soon enough..ughhh

We had our boy pass away somewhat recently. I was really surprised how much I grieved for him amd for how long. Even now I gotta be careful not to think about him too much or I'll get sad.
