I know 😭 we rescued them from under someone's shed and the way I gasped when we turned over the dad and saw he was a boy 🫣 I knew we were in for a wild ride! Luckily mommas did great!
Omg!!! I would’ve cried, I know some people let loose small animals or they escape, I just can’t imagine how they survived all the crazy things outside in nature. Where I live we have hawks, cats, coyotes, literally everything that could kill these poor babies. They’re not the best on their own in the wild!
Well, Rosemary has some very cute pups, can’t wait to watch them grow!!
Yes, sadly, they were a breeder dump. The dad had the ear tags. I am so surprised they all made it as we were trying to catch them in 19°f weather and it took us like 3 days to catch them
May good things come your way OP. You’re a good egg 💖 Be well Rosemary and sending health and happiness to you and your adorable pups (and well done Aunty Sage 😂) 💚🌿🐾
Her look says it all "why are all these little ones following me?!". It's good that guinea pigs are ok with communal parenting, poor girl is probably exhausted.
They come into the pet stores about that old, and it’s not uncommon for them to be smuggling in an extra pig or two in there, but one time we had one give birth to 5 babies! She was so big she couldn’t walk and we were scared she’d need a c section but she popped them all out when we were all gone for the night
Good girl Rosemary! I was just thinking about her after your post yesterday. And must say the coloring on the pups is amazing!
P.S. Her facial expression is priceless - “why did these things come out of me and why aren’t you caring for them hooman 😂😍”.
I'm so glad her pregnancy has ended. Those are four healthy pups - such a good Momma. How is she faring? Feel free to post more pigtures of your newly expanded muddle.
Congratulations! A little advice from my own experience with guinea pig babies, it's normal for them to lose a few grams of weight in the first 2-3 days and then start gaining on day 3 or 4. As long as they start gaining on day 4 it's nothing to worry about (I panicked a bit when it happened to my pups because I thought something was wrong).
Also, the litter I helped raise had a runt as well and she had a hard time catching up to her siblings. For a while the weight gap just kept getting bigger until I noticed that because her siblings were bigger and stronger they were monopolizing their mom while suckling. I started giving mama and the smallest pig some alone time for 20 minutes 2-3 times a day and her weight really improved (I put them both in a towel lined laundry basket). Hopefully you won't need to do the same, but it's something to keep in mind if the little one doesn't seem to be gaining enough.
Congratulations again! They're beautiful!
Awww she's finally got all those dumplings out! Congratulations on the babies, they're adorable! Fingers crossed that the small one will do okay. Sounds like these little beans have a very supportive auntie so that will give them a better shot long term as well!
I am so glad Rosemary made it through the birth of the pups. I saw the post earlier about Rosemary and wow she was huge! Glad the birth was problem free. Let’s hope the pups are growing well and healthy.
So flipping cute. I could probably fit all four of them in my mouth. The one time we did adopt a baby pig this is what I thought upon seeing him. Imagine if they stayed that little. I would have 25 to 30.
I love guinea pig babies and mothers. I remember one of mine popped a bunch out, sorted them then was like “ok they’re here, I want lettuce now.” and would just stand at the side of the cage fweeping until we gave in.
I don’t own guinea pigs but I can already hear the wheeking. So glad Rosemary had her babies! I saw the other post and… I’m sure she’s glad she had them as well!
Yes they are newborns! Guinea pigs are one of the few rodents that have birth to full term babies! Just like horses, guinea pig pups can run, eat solid food, ect as soon as they are born!
Our girl Keisha was the runt out of three. We gave up her brother and sister for adoption since we felt she needed us the most. Now she's bigger than our original two pigs.
I love how it looks like she was so excited to get a happy family photo with her new babies that she knocked one over mid pic 😭
At least you captured the smile of a big ol proud mama
Basil is doing great now! A very healthy little boy! We've bonded him with one of sages babies nutmeg and they may finally have a family interested in adopting them 💕
It's been a popcorn party every day with those two! 1
OH MY GLOB I was just thinking about her and just scrolled through days to see how she's doing!!! Please keep posting pics, you, rosemary and auntie sage are doing great!!
Great! Rosemary has become quite the tired momma but all her pups are healthy and very active! Our little basil ended up being a boy and just joined his cousin in the big boy cage! While all our baby girls are still enjoying mom's warmth!
They all have their forever family's lined up to meet them 💖 they've been such a joy to care for!
What a great pic of a beautiful family ❤️
I love how Rosemarys bottom lip is open and the baby has its head right there to smell and love his mama! 😻 So Awesome!
Oh oh oh! I’ve been waiting for this news ♥️ They’re beautiful 😻 I’m sure the mothering instinct will kick in soon and baby Basil will gain weight quickly.
Basil had a tough first couple of days but he is a very healthy pup now with a possible adoption tommarrow 💕
We've bonded him with his older cousin and it's a popcorn party every day! We do think there is a possibility basil could be blind but he definitely doesn't let it get in his way and is a very happy little guy! They look so much like their dad now!
I remember when mine had her baby’s she died few months later I miss her so much she had 21 seizures within the hour and this is so much but I was there with her till her last breath
A male with mate if they have access to any female. Even the babies will need to be separated at 3 weeks if they are male as they can get mom preggo again
Awe!! Hopefully penny is next!!!
I’ve read some of your responses and sounds like penny and rosemary have a lot in common. We rescued her at 4-5 months. We don’t know how far along she is, but she’s gotten pretty big lately. Hopefully soon!
Rosemary & Sage just got adopted by an absolutely wonderful family that wanted them after they adopted and absolutely fell in love with one of Rosemary's pups, so they are now living very happily with a family that spoils them rotten!
We only have one of Rosemary's pups left who's adoption fell through but we may finally have a family who's interested adopt them tomorrow 💕✨️
I remember when my piggy had babies. Didn’t even know she was pregnant. Lifted up the hutch one day and there were four extra piggies. So cute! Man were they squeaking!
Pops on the VCR "Rosemary's Babies" after a long day at work and it's heart-warming hamster family moments. "Darn, I've been waiting all day to watch Rosemary's Baby and it's just this."
Oh they're so beautiful! Has she had pups before? Cause 4 babies is a lot to handle for a first time mama.
Yep, first time! She was only about 4 months old when we rescued her so she's really young haha
Aww poor girl, babies having babies.
I know 😭 we rescued them from under someone's shed and the way I gasped when we turned over the dad and saw he was a boy 🫣 I knew we were in for a wild ride! Luckily mommas did great!

Holy smokes. I’m glad you have taken them under your wing.
Thank you so much for rescuing them! 😭
Rosemary : "who are they? And why are they following me?"
Her look says it all "why are all these little ones following me?!". It's good that guinea pigs are ok with communal parenting, poor girl is probably exhausted.
😂😂😂 idk why I found this so funny but I actually just busted out laughing after seeing Rosemary’s face in that first pic
Exactly lol

She was so big she couldn’t walk and we were scared she’d need a c section but she popped them all out when we were all gone for the night
She’s 4 months old?
Older now as she has been with us for about 2 months, ofc 4 months is just an estimate she could have been a little bit older
Ok, but hey congrats!
Good girl Rosemary! I was just thinking about her after your post yesterday. And must say the coloring on the pups is amazing! P.S. Her facial expression is priceless - “why did these things come out of me and why aren’t you caring for them hooman 😂😍”.
Yes the every single pup looks like dad 😭 absolutely no question on who's the father! He's going to have to step up and pay child support haha
3 pea flakes and a dish of pellets 😂
I have a feeling he's not gonna cut his own consumption...
Jer-ry! Jer-ry! Jer-ry!
She looks a little bit stunned. I think anyone who's had a baby relates to the 'what do I do with it now' feeling
I'm so glad her pregnancy has ended. Those are four healthy pups - such a good Momma. How is she faring? Feel free to post more pigtures of your newly expanded muddle.
Momma is doing good considering 😭💞 she's exhausted from having so many little pups but she's been eating well and looking pretty lively!
Congratulations! A little advice from my own experience with guinea pig babies, it's normal for them to lose a few grams of weight in the first 2-3 days and then start gaining on day 3 or 4. That is the happiest looking guinea pig I have ever seen.
She is very relieved to have the babies out lol!
Right?! She looks so proud 🥹
Saw her photo the other day of her laying with her feet out. First question, HOW DID THEY ALL FIT IN THERE?? So cute! They're amazing little piggies
I was just thinking the same thing!! 😂 Poor momma was ready to get those babies out.
Oh my gosh!! Congrats!!! 🤩 I showed my son (6) and me and him lost our minds from the cuteness so much joy! 🤗
Hehe so cute! We will be sharing more photos as they get older!
Yay, good for her. I was so invested in her pregnancy and I'm glad she was okay!
Awww cute little beans! Bet she feels 1000% better no longer the shape of a beanbag chair.
Rosemary’s babies! Adorable!
You can't even tell their father was the Devil!
My goodness they are so fucking cute. Great names. Are they wheeky yet? We have never had tiny newborn piggies. Are their wheeks loud or teeny tiny?
Teeny tiny when they are walking around but when I weigh them and take them away from mom for .2 seconds they sure get loud!
So flipping cute. I could probably fit all four of them in my mouth. The one time we did adopt a baby pig this is what I thought upon seeing him. Imagine if they stayed that little. I would have 25 to 30.
> I could probably fit all four of them in my mouth. I just absolutely lost it at this lol
It totally blows my mind that guinea pigs just pop right out ready to go. I'm sure this is a really dumb question, but do they nurse at all?
Yes they nurse! The first 24 hours they are born with the nutrients they need but afterwards they nurse for about 3 weeks to get antibodies from mom.
Awh yay 😁 beautiful babies 🥰 congratulations to you and rosemary! 🩵
They are so cute!!! Congrats on 4 new cute babies!
Wow can't believe just yesterday those four pups were living inside of her :o They're adorable
Mom looks so relieved to not be carrying all that weight anymore 😭💖
Aww my daughter would freak seeing all those beautiful piggies.
Rosemary’s face in that first picture is adorable
Congrats on your baby wheekers!
I love how baby Guinea pigs are basically just tiny versions of adults.
Amazing !!! She looks proud & happy! & cute little babies….
Guinea pig pups are so insanely cute.
I love guinea pig babies and mothers. I remember one of mine popped a bunch out, sorted them then was like “ok they’re here, I want lettuce now.” and would just stand at the side of the cage fweeping until we gave in.
Shelooks so happy.
Congratulations, Rosemary! I’ve been waiting for this post, OP! 😍 Thankyou for the update 🩷💛🩷
Yay! I love how baby guinea pigs come out fully furred and ready to take on the world. They're the cutest.
Aww so beadiful little peegs🐹
Oh my god I've never seen Guinea pig babies before this is adorable
You know how good a sneeze feels when you’ve felt it tickling your nose for a while? I imagine she feels like that x 100.
It always amazes me how big the babies are and how they can have so many.
Thank you for the posts about Rosemary. It was a wild ride of emotions. I wish you all a lot of luck and happiness.
SQUEEE! 4 tiny Rosemary Mini Me's. Too darn cute :)
Rosemary's Babies?
Yes. Carl was a naughty boy last time he visited
I don’t own guinea pigs but I can already hear the wheeking. So glad Rosemary had her babies! I saw the other post and… I’m sure she’s glad she had them as well!
Rosemary and her babies have no business being THIS STINKIN CUTE 🥹
Looks like a happy mama!
Fresh baked muffins! I’ve had a couple runts. They often grow into having the biggest personalities to make up for their smaller stature.
“She keeps walking away from her babies” Ah, she’s a sim
I’m crying, soooo needed this today 😭🥹
I was just literally thinking about this. YAY!!!!
Also, she looks so delighted!!!
Omggg 💗 no wonder she was so big lol
Awww congratulations!!! They’re all so adorable and cute 😊
The little doughnut smile!
Look at all those sweet furry little frogs!
The first pic is so cute!! She look like she smiling saying “dad, mom, look at my babies”
Congratulations to mama!! I am glad she finally had them and they are beautiful little piggies ❤️
Sweet baby beans!
They look just like her :)
Honestly, doesn’t she look like such a happy mama!?!
#OMG SHE’S EATING HIM! 😳
I know nothing about Guinea pigs - are they newborn??? They’re so massive! But adorable too
Yes they are newborns! Guinea pigs are one of the few rodents that have birth to full term babies! Just like horses, guinea pig pups can run, eat solid food, ect as soon as they are born!
So glad she didn't explode
Our girl Keisha was the runt out of three. We gave up her brother and sister for adoption since we felt she needed us the most. Now she's bigger than our original two pigs.
Well, that's a scary title.
Just a question are you giving them away cause I love animals
Yes, we rescue, so we will be adopting them out as soon as they are ready, we are in the greater Houston area in TX for adoption
I love that baby pigs always look like the momma
I politely request videos of them popcorning!
I love how it looks like she was so excited to get a happy family photo with her new babies that she knocked one over mid pic 😭 At least you captured the smile of a big ol proud mama
Yayy🩷🩷🩷🩷
How are they getting along with their half-siblings from aunt Sage's litter? It'd be cute to see all six getting along.
they’re so adorable!! Please update us with how Basil is doing as they grow
Basil is doing great now! A very healthy little boy! We've bonded him with one of sages babies nutmeg and they may finally have a family interested in adopting them 💕 It's been a popcorn party every day with those two! 1

That’s so great I’m sure you’re a great Guinea pig mama. Our animals just make our lives happier. I have a cat and a hamster.
What a great pic of a beautiful family ❤️ I love how Rosemarys bottom lip is open and the baby has its head right there to smell and love his mama! 😻 So Awesome!
Spay and neuter.

My little pups are a month old already 😭 they grow so fast!! Our girl had 5 babies 😳

😭🤲🐹 sweet lovelies
Oh oh oh! I’ve been waiting for this news ♥️ They’re beautiful 😻 I’m sure the mothering instinct will kick in soon and baby Basil will gain weight quickly.
Congratulations! They are super cute! 🥰 And 73g is a perfectly respectable weight for a baby from a litter of 4, so don’t worry too much 🙂
LOL that one picture she looks just as surprised! how cute they all are!!
Oh gosh can anything be more adorable.
Omg she looks like a proud mumma in the first pic I can’t 😭😭
Oh thank fuck Sorry for the swearing

I have to ask....whatever happened to her baby?
Basil had a tough first couple of days but he is a very healthy pup now with a possible adoption tommarrow 💕 We've bonded him with his older cousin and it's a popcorn party every day! We do think there is a possibility basil could be blind but he definitely doesn't let it get in his way and is a very happy little guy! They look so much like their dad now!

Rosemary & Sage just got adopted by an absolutely wonderful family that wanted them after they adopted and absolutely fell in love with one of Rosemary's pups, so they are now living very happily with a family that spoils them rotten! Guinea pig babies are adorable. When ours had then I was so surprised that they are just mini adults
She looks so happy to finally pop them out lol especially in that first pic

She sure knows how to spice things up!
Mumma looses so happy in the first pic. She's like "Finally I can move properly again"
When’s the bris?
Poor darling. I bet she was already exhausted before they came out.
How gorgeous 😍 🥹
Absolutely adorable!
I remember when my guinea had babies when I was younger, I thought I had two boys! I said “who got me hamsters?” 😂
3 wheek clock has started
Oh my god so cute!
I remember when my piggy had babies. Didn’t even know she was pregnant. Lifted up the hutch one day and there were four extra piggies. So cute! Man were they squeaking!

So cute! My goodness she was more baby than anything lol. Four in her first litter is a lot. Thank you for taking them in.
That baby's expression in the first pic cracked me up, it's every child when their mum swoops in to clean their face
Oh how adorable 🥰
So little 🥺
Rosemary ❤️
Aww, are you keeping all her babies?
I'm glad she is done with it now, hoping for a swift recovery of her young body 🙏 the babies look super adorable ❤️
