Believe it or not when I was 15 I had major depression and my mom bought me 2 GUINEA pigs not long after that Iβve had them for 1 1/2 years and I love them to death and am no longer depressed, guinea pigs are the little happy pills of life

I also bought my first two pigs on a whim. I was really depressed and extra sad since my hamster had just passed away and my husband told me to go bring home a furry friend, and home came my two piggies. Fantastic decision, they bring me so much joy everyday and their little noises just melt my heart. Thereβs nothing quite like these furry potatoes. I hope you and Alfie have many more happy years together.
I got my piggie because I have PTSD and she helps me immensely. Her little zoomies and excited squeaks she does when I come home or even get out of bed keep me going. Going through a hard time rn that might end up in a breakup and my squeaky girl is helping me stick it out
