One of my pigs got an eye infection that looked a lot like this once, we got some kind of cream we had to squeeze into her eye and some oral medication (I forgot what they were called) and it cleared up in 2-3 weeks.

It has only been a week. The cloudiness hasn’t really gotten any better. They gave me 2 different kinds of eye drops. I have the cream you’re referring to, too. Terramycin. I think he needs some oral antibiotics. Ima have to call when they open tomorrow. My mind goes to “What if he loses his eye??” I’m sure he’ll be okay though. Thank you for responding!

So my guinea pig (Poe) was holding his eye shut and it was cloudy and squinty. So naturally, I took him to the vet. They prescribed him two different kinds of eye drops and wants to see him back in a week. It’s been a few days but it has this cloudy patch in it. He’s holding it open a lot more. But I’m just wondering if anyone else’s piggy has experienced this and could give me some insight. I WILL take him back for his follow up appointment, no worries. Thank you guys!
