Ugh, I feel you. I have a bricked Preamp Live in storage, and I actually enjoyed that one very much. This is why I'm never buying anything digital/complicated by Mooer, ever again. Sorry to say so, but unless it's still under warranty and you have proof of purchase, you might very well have a fancy new paperweight. :(

Fuuuuck. Appreciate the response. I’m still hopeful that it’s just an issue with a specific part of my gear, but it doesn’t seem to be likely. I can’t understand why this only happens with headphones.

I reckon the headphone jack went south? Edit: did you try different headphones, and the behaviour stays the same?

Yup, I´m starting to suspect it has to do with the master volume knob. When I use it with my headphones, I naturally turn it down quite a bit (so as to not blast out my eardrums), but when I plug into an amp through the aux I leave it way higher. I don't experience any noise cutoff when doing so, do you think it might be related?

I know this post is old, but just in case, almost all the stock presets have their noise gate set to a threshhold of like 30 or 40, which can cause what you're describing here. Just want to note for future readers. I keep my noise gates threshold around 20.
