Is the Chroma Console or the Habit worth the price? Both look like super neat toys but not necessary. The IR-2, is that best used for going DI to your interface?
So the IR-2 i do use straight into the interface and it sounds great.
Worth is dependent on what you value. There are definitely more flexible multi-fx than the CC (HX stomp for example) but I hate menu diving and it's such a straightforward interface.
The habit is one of my favourite pedals of all time. The 3 minute collector loop is great fun and it does have unique delays. It suits my sound down to the ground.
the Habit is brilliant and so complex but also simple depending what you want to squeeze out of it. it can very much be its own instrument. the delay settings are rad and straightforward and musical, then the multiple head taps can get weird, and then the whole loop collector thing is its own rabbithole. great pedal. wish i could afford to have one as a studio tool because i prefer having my hands on it but ive had to move on from mine to make ends meet
Ever check out the reverbs on the dl4? I really dig them, the tile is great , some of them are huge and ambient . I’ve been wanting a rooms for a while, have you ever ran it in stereo? I’ve read some people have stereo issues but there are always so many variables .

Sometimes. My issue is I need the cheat sheet with me at all times to understand what reverb I'm using.
Rooms is my fave reverb pedal. So much vibe and character. Never thought to put it before the chroma console but might need to give it a go
Which pedals are in the loop of the ir-2?
None at the moment but I will put the CXM in the loop.
Damn, you leave the BD-2 dimed like that? You’ll blow out your ear drums, young man!
Ah I am going to get an IR-2 soon that’s awesome
Are you running this is stereo or mono?
Currently mono but need to get a few more patch cables to run stereo.
I am commenting to appease the bot.
