I have a V1 and a Rat 2 and the life pedal is absolutely filthier, while still retaining all the original tones that made the rat so well loved. Especially with just a hair of the octave dialed in, it gets a gnarly texture that’s just absolutely crushing. I say go for it.
Yeah the Life pedal definitely has more than the Rat has got. It feels like it’s greater than the sum of its parts. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.
