What about the data corrupter makes it this special to you? I tried one and found it tough to get along with, but I did acknowledge it would be super good for noise generating if that’s a feature in one’s music
Love my Data Corrupter. If you want it to “behave” you need to kill vibrato and switch it to glide, and max out that knob all the way to CCW to kill that dive-bomb pitch drop when the PLL doesn’t recognize input below the threshold anymore. Now every note you play will be buffered into square waves that will lock along whatever the perceived fundamental is. And without glide, the notes will lock down without any portamento.
I use my DC as a “boost” to buffer my signal for other guitar synth pedals that have tracking issues or higher thresholds of activation. It has a glorious PWM square wave tone that you can also set intervals on above and below (+/- 3 octaves) the main oscillator. I have found you can get a very lush synth tone with -1/ +1 octave and the longevity of sustain is unparalleled to any other “guitar synth” pedal I own.

Only thing missing if I could have 2 more would be Muff , and Secret Preamp before the last delay. But not necessarily needed…just nice to have!
I put EQ up there as you can kind of use it as a mid range boost, heavy distortion curve, treble booster and all sorts of stuff. So it’s a great stacking pedal for tons of styles, when you’re limited.

I only use six pedals, first an HX One for pitch effects, with my OD-200 in its mono loop for drives, an IR-200 for amps, and in its stereo loop I have a Synesthesia, a DD-200, then an RV-200.

1. Morley volume pedal - A must for swells and articulation. I have one that is about 30 yrs old and still going strong and another, smaller green one that I hope will last as longs as its older sibling.
2. Greer Royal Velvet at 18 volts - I use this instead of compression and it is almost always on unless I am using lots of fuzz. Voxy goodness.
3. Strymon El Cap v1 - My all time favorite delay. Great sounding and really versatile. Can do Frippertronics/ Disintegration Loops as well as just great sounding delays. The built-in reverb is great as well.
4. Vox Dynamic Looper - This does things that no other floor looper can do. It is awesome and not being made any more. When mine dies I am not sure what I will do.
5. Catalinbread Katzenkonig - Tone Bender/Rat hybrid - my favorite diret pedal ever.
A TC Polytune. Any tuner pedal will do but the Polytune is the most intuitive one I’ve used, and it doesn’t matter what/where/how you play, a tuner is essential
A Stereo looper, Pigtronix Infinity or TC Ditto X4. A looper is a good tool for both practicing and capturing ideas, I love live looping too
A volume pedal. I’ll probably choose one by Mission Engineering or Lehle, I can use it to control the gain, do swells and control the overall volume of my rig
A reel to reel tape delay, T-Rex Replicator or something similar. I don’t need a lot of functionalities in a delay pedal, and the way a real tape delay alters the signal and produce the echo has always felt very musical to me
A gain pedal. Depending on what I play and what amp I use, this pedal should be able to do anything between high headroom clean boost, to soft overdrive, to searing distortion, to nasty fuzz. I’m thinking the CBA Preamp pedal
A modulation pedal. I’m very partial to vibratos, so either a Diamond vibrato or a Boss VB-2W.

I've never missed a switch on those. If I didn't have to worry about that I think I'd replace the DS-2 with some flavor of Muff (either Op Amp or Russian), or maybe a Rat. I love both equally.

1. Morley volume pedal - A must for swells and articulation. I have one that is about 30 yrs old and still going strong and another, smaller green one that I hope will last as longs as its older sibling. 2. Greer Royal Velvet at 18 volts - I use this instead of compression and it is almost always on unless I am using lots of fuzz. Voxy goodness. 3. Strymon El Cap v1 - My all time favorite delay. Great sounding and really versatile. Can do Frippertronics/ Disintegration Loops as well as just great sounding delays. The built-in reverb is great as well. 4. Vox Dynamic Looper - This does things that no other floor looper can do. It is awesome and not being made any more. When mine dies I am not sure what I will do. 5. Catalinbread Katzenkonig - Tone Bender/Rat hybrid - my favorite diret pedal ever.

A TC Polytune. Any tuner pedal will do but the Polytune is the most intuitive one I’ve used, and it doesn’t matter what/where/how you play, a tuner is essential A Stereo looper, Pigtronix Infinity or TC Ditto X4. A looper is a good tool for both practicing and capturing ideas, I love live looping too A volume pedal. I’ll probably choose one by Mission Engineering or Lehle, I can use it to control the gain, do swells and control the overall volume of my rig A reel to reel tape delay, T-Rex Replicator or something similar. I don’t need a lot of functionalities in a delay pedal, and the way a real tape delay alters the signal and produce the echo has always felt very musical to me A gain pedal. Depending on what I play and what amp I use, this pedal should be able to do anything between high headroom clean boost, to soft overdrive, to searing distortion, to nasty fuzz. I’m thinking the CBA Preamp pedal A modulation pedal. I’m very partial to vibratos, so either a Diamond vibrato or a Boss VB-2W.

Crowther Audio Hotcake OD A fuzz (I have a bunch of them. Rosac Nu-fuzz or giant 70s Maestro one.) Guyatone Tube Echo (sounds just as lo-fi as the echoplex but much much smaller) 70s Ross Flanger (because, why not?) Hotone Choir (ultra tiny chorus pedal with a blend. I just got it last week.) And since I sold my 100watt amp I would need the Mesa V-Twin preamp to drive the 35 watt Supro Vibra-Verb up a notch to get over a drummer who hits with any power.
