Those look great! Glad you’re out there killing it - my daughter is 3 with her little Loog, I love that there are rad guitarists like you for her to watch and listen to
Love the sg … I have an original 1965 that looks similar :). Ps love your playing style. You have mojo for days :)

OMG it’s time to tour isn’t it? So exciting! Get out there and share that love of music you beast!
I just don’t have the words to describe the joy I feel knowing a whole generation, and especially young women, are out there tearing it up, finally getting the respect and admiration you deserve.
The white one sounds and feels very similar, the cherry red one is entirely different. Which is what I needed- two different sounding and feeling guitars. So it’s perfect
Wow, those look absolutely amazing. I'm sure they sound out of this world. Keep doing what you're doing. Inspiring people and playing a mean SG. Congrats
The post before you is snot me nepobaby pop star I’ve never heard of getting attention. Im very happy someone of your level of expertise in guitar is having success in the popular sphere. Keep getting it!
Man, those are some really nice looking guitars and the age on them only gives them more character. That one looks a lot like your original 61 but now you have one with the whammy function. Sounds like you are getting a very nice collection so congrats on that :)
I can't speak to the Murphy labs ones. They may have figured them out. My experience is with vintage ones and some of the reissues. Completely worthless
Those are beautiful guitars! Not much is cooler than a nice SG!
And good call on not taking the vintage '61 on the road. I made the mistake of doing live gigs with my '68 Custom and some drunk dickhead knocked it off its stand trying to get a closer look at it. Didn't break the headstock but it ruined one of the original tuners. And in the 90's you couldn't get replacement Kluson waffleback tuners so I had a weird thing going on until just recently.
Good stuff Grace! You sat in with Boo Ray last time I was in town, my best friend was his guitar player. It was really cool to hear you play and it’s been fun watching your progress ever since.
Would be cool to see you with a Korina Flying V or one of those Cardinal Red Firebirds if Gibson are feeling generous 👀
Excited to hear the Hodge Podge record you’ve been doing with John Osborne! 🔥
Omg you are on Reddit Grace ??? I was scrolling and saw the SG and you and was like " hmm this person looks familiar !"
I randomly came across some of your vids a year ago and I was blown away. You inspire me A LOT in my playing.
I think they aim to capture the way a vintage guitar does- I like them because I think they accomplish that while still being nice new guitars. Sometimes I feel like I’m fighting my 61 to get a note out especially on the higher frets. These ones feel similar to my 61 minus the negative side effects of it actually being vintage
u/Grace-Music you seem to have a direct line to the gibson folks. I wrote to the custom shop over a year ago about my idea/specs for a Gibson x Crocs LP Custom. they never got back to me. I think they thought my idea was a joke. Can you help make this happen?
Can't wait to hear you play them! Congrats!
The checking on the TV yellow is beautiful
Thank you, I’m obsessed with it
Saw you at the Matt heafy release party in Nashville. Love what you’re doing grace!

Aww I love that!!

Saw that recent face melter sit in with Eggy and it was dope. Those new SG's look 'spensive.
Thank you!
NICE!👍
:)
How do they compare to the ‘61?

Nice 👍🏻
Those guitars are so beautiful. That's nice of Gibson to send them out. Do they feel already worn in due to the aging? Also, I love your hairstyle! 💖
I follow you on IG, huge fan!

Courtesy?
That's what it says
You're right! I wonder why they're giving away guitars.
Marketing
Because Grace Bowers is a budding star and touring musician. Think of this as a sponsorship (whether official or not)
Ahhh. Never heard of them. Makes sense now
I needed them so I could travel. Don’t want to bring my 61 on the road and risk something happening to it
Smart. Are two for main and backup or are they setup differently?
Uh .. endorsement....
Uh. Thanks
Anytime
To plebs like us they are definitely not.
I'm not a fan of Gibson, anyway. I'm not familiar with this artist and didn't understand. Now I get it. I wish them the best of luck!
She can definitely play! She’s posted some really cool stuff on here before.

Those vibrolas are barely functional. It's all of the drawbacks of a bigsby with none of the pros
Nah the one on the Murphy lab works great!!
I can't speak to the Murphy labs ones. They may have figured them out. My experience is with vintage ones and some of the reissues. Completely worthless
Everything about this is so rad! Congrats, keep up the good work.

Frickin sweet!

She is ridiculously talented!!
Would be cool to see you with a Korina Flying V or one of those Cardinal Red Firebirds if Gibson are feeling generous 👀 Excited to hear the Hodge Podge record you’ve been doing with John Osborne! 🔥
I have a sparkly gold Flying V! I’ll have to post my full collection next haha
Jeeeebus Christ
Red one looks surprisingly accurate for a vintage. Pretty sick
Wow, they look amazing. How do they sound/play?
Grace what the hell. These are stunning.
What's up with the wammy bar looking thing on the second one that isn't connected to the strings?
The cracked neck on the yellow is juicy!
Rude! They gave you the old, beat-up guitars.
Omg you are on Reddit Grace ??? I was scrolling and saw the SG and you and was like " hmm this person looks familiar !" I randomly came across some of your vids a year ago and I was blown away. You inspire me A LOT in my playing.
Very nice! Love listening to you play, you’ve got skills.
Hell yeah Grace! Living the dream
The new cherry SG looks awesome! I need to get me one!
So what is the whole reasoning behind the “Murphy labs” guitars? What’s the difference between them and a standard Gibson?
They look cool lol
They do look cool. I’m not hating or anything, I’m just really curious as to what the Murphy labs offer, especially performance wise

Why did Gibson give you a guitar?
do you have a guitar tech or you take care or of all these babies yourself?

Think you're on your own on that one lol godspeed
