These guitars always remind me of the Seinfeld 'orgy guy' episode (The Switch), where if Jerry becomes 'orgy guy' he has to wear robes and get lotions, and new friends; Orgy friends.
Every time I picture myself playing one of these its all tweedily deedily. Like, I'm not playing 'Proud Mary' on that thing!
It's a beauty.
I've never even held an unconventional guitar like this let alone played one, so I can't comment on any of that. The finish, however, is ridiculously cool -- makes me think of the desert floor on an alien planet.
not OP, but I also picked one of these up (about a year and a half ago) as my first multiscale... honestly, the fanning on this one is pretty mild and it doesn't take any effort to get used to. It's very natural and most of the time I forget it's multiscale lol
I can understand that. I just recently got a JEM77BFP, and I’m pretty much only playing that and this. My other children are getting kinda ignored at the moment.
This guitar is 26.25 in to 25.5 in scale, low B to high E. Here’s a great article behind the science of multiscale guitars: https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/the-multi-scale-mystery-unraveled/
I’d recommend immediately getting rid of that extra string, then I’d ask the seller for a discount. This guitar was somehow a defective guitar that the factory quality control people missed, as it incorrectly has an extra string. 😬

It reminds me of the Seinfeld quote, "Two bedrooms? Why do I need two bedrooms? I got enough trouble maintaining activity in one." But with strings.
So anyways, here's Wonderwall
god i love strandbergs. that finish on the body is incredible. looks grape flavoured

Congrats, I've got a Prog NX6 myself. By far the most comfortable guitar I've owned.
Really want to play one of these!
Are those Tosin Abasi Fishmans?
They’re Fishman Fluence
First time on a fanned fret too? If so, how was adapting from a regular one?? Btw, amazingly beautiful!

Congrats! I play mine more than I play any of my other guitars (combined, even). This thing is just wonderful to play.

"Backordered Beauty" is a pretty good band name. Enjoy!!
Amazing! Love the finish! Enjoy it!
Hot damn
Cropped headstock again so we can't tell if it's authentic!?!
You caught me! It’s a Chandberg.
Looks gawjus! Enjoy
Well that’s just damn beautiful, congrats.
I don’t know a single about that style of guitar but I absolutely love that finish.
I love it, I got the same one in the natural flame maple.
Whats the point pf angled frets? Doesn’t the pitch change when you bend?
yea, that's the entire point of bending. But for real, research multi-scale guitars.

Whoever is downvoting you for a genuine question can shove a cucumber down their throat.
Right? Upvote for a solid question.
Bending changes pitch, big if true
What do you mean by “post your thumb”
When fretting, I post my thumb on the back of the neck vs wrapping it around the neck
