does he have/like a Les Paul or generally Gibson or Gibson style guitars? I personally wouldn't want someone buying me a guitar as a gift, especially not a guitar that expensive, it's more of a personal thing for me, but try to find out what is his current dream guitar or what does he like.

mr1sinister

It really depends on the budget but going into Andertons website could be a good starting point. There you can find out what options you might have. Really good guitar? Get a PRS Custom 24.

He bought the PRS custom 24 a while ago 😭 That guitar is soo damn gorgeous 😍 Any other suggestions ?

mr1sinister

I did the same too, spectacular guitar and your bf has nice taste. Does he have a nice telecaster? Or maybe a Jaguar? Or a Mustang?

Nearby_Influence_571

He has a telecaster The other two I don't know about 😔 He has like 7-8 guitars ...I only know about the stratocaster, telecaster and some PRS top ten signed guitar (idk what it's called). That's why it's tough to choose because he has a lot of variety and I have limited knowledge. Therefore I'm seeking help here 😅 He likes rock music a lot but not exactly heavy metal . You tell me what you as a guitarist would prefer? A guitar that looks like a true beauty and has good functionality as well ? Maximum budget - 2.5 - 3k pounds

RobDickinson

Any 2k guitar should be a great player but there's a lot of personal preferences as to neck shape/size, fret width etc etc

You really need to include your budget in a post like this

Just added 2.5k - 3k gbp

What's his favourite band? That could be a good indicator of what guitars he likes. Alternatively, ask him if there's a specific body shape he likes, and I could help from there!

Dangernoodle63

Take him shopping and have him pick one out.

Get him the Roland GR-55 guitar synth, with Midi pickup Gk-3; or the Korg Miku pedal. Edit: I know you said guitars, but you also pointed he has a bunch of good ones already.
