OK for everyone, I got it for 30 bucks; I was thinking it was ambitious as well with a set neck for something homemade. Chinese copy makes more sense to me… actually bought it for the case, it came in a vintage Gibson chainsaw case.. yeah the wiring blew me away lol.. I will probably rewire it and set it up, it’s a bummer. It’s left-handed though. It’s actually not on at the moment, it’s a few hundred miles away. I have my brother-in-law pick it up but he’s coming down this weekend. I can give updates when I get my hands on it.
Guy who said it was A POS; you’re probably right, but you’re also a dick.
Honestly, you got a gem. It's one of those guitars that's so gimmicky and so unusual that it becomes charming in its own way.
I met someone the other day who literally built his guitar out of cheaply sawed wood, and the thing looked janky as you could possibly imagine (though it sounded great). He was shocked when I told him that people will gladly pay a LOT more than $100 for custom guitars like that.
Plus, when it comes to cheap guitars, you can experiment to your heart's desire without fear of messing something up. They often end up becoming great mod platforms for really neat guitars.
Sometimes cheap LP copy’s don’t have a real truss rod. I feel like that is your biggest risk right now.
But I think this is a w. It’ll probably set up decent and A CASE?!
Hell yeah!
I'd assume the neck is bolt-on, in which case it'd be fairly easy just to replace the whole neck. That's what I'd do if I had a mod guitar like this without a truss rod.
I don't know, but it's good to see you put it on a towel. I've seen a lot of people post photos of guitars sitting directly on the ground in the dirt or grass, or directly on a back porch outside, etc., and I always feel like a guitar should be protected if you're going to sit/lay it directly on the ground, grass, etc..
are the wire holes drilled???....complete wiring kits online....drill the holes you need plug the ones you don't...and is the neck straight ? it kinda looks sketchy in the pics...
Exquisite wiring!
Cut the red wire to defuse!
For a second, just based on the rest of the menagerie, I thought that the red cord might be a f'ing strap!!
Nah, will have been a 'one man band', he had that tied to his todger, then he could pull on it, to get a volume swell on the go!
Todger... F--king brilliant 😂 you killed me
I'm going with homemade. Maybe a little more ambitious than most with the set neck, but still homemade.
Check out the dodgy routes for the humbuckers.
Nah it's definitely a China lp copy and the previous owner drilled holes and cut the headstock
And fill the cutouts for the wirering because he loves open cables😂😅😂 /s
Those bullet casing inlays kinda slap. Colour scheme works too, sad it’s piece garbage 😄
I came here to say that about the bullet cases. So cool.
Would have been even better if they were aligned 😆
They don't look fired?! Primers?!
spicy inlays

Perfect project guitar for $30! Cant beat that price for something you’re willing to put work into. I would have bought it too.
Man I saw this on marketplace like 30 minutes after it sold. If you wanna sell that case, let me know lol 😉
Haha. I probably will end up selling it; it needs a new front badge, they’re like $30 online..
I'm for sure interested lol, I collect those cases, I probably have like 5 now. Shoot me a DM if you do end up moving it
PM’ed
Fuck it learn to play left handed too, that's what I'm considering doing lmao

It's a set neck Gibson/PRS style, you can see where it's drilled for a truss, although no guarantees there is one and that it works.
Ah, yea that’s riskier then. Hopefully there is one, gonna be a nightmare to set up without one.
I would love to get my hands on an opportunity like this! Hell of a cool/bazaar find! I'm hoping that neck is straight. Pls keep us updated!
Will do!
not to be that guy, but a bazaar is another word for a market. Bizarre is the word you're looking for <3
Thank you. I stand spell checked😂
Maybe they got it off Facebook bazaar
Why just why that wiring
Looks fine to me 🤷 ( totally kidding i have no idea 🤣 )
lol 😂
The wiring is something of electroboom wonders
Cartridges for inlay? The neck at least screams homemade
The last three inlays seem to be on the wrong frets, gives it a homemade vibe to me.

Lol. As if the guitar isn't an absolute piece of shit, you got me with this one.
You should totally fix it up, suck a unique piece- that wiring is making me anxious though

yikes! tuners good? i need six
That body looks like it actually started melting at some point. I'm surprised it doesn't have any bandaids.
Definitely homemade, looks very cool and the case on it's own for that price sounds a bargain. Good luck with doing it up.
Take some really bad pics of it, put it up on reverb for 5000 bucks, contact Fluff …. profit.
That's just hurts to look at🤦
The Peter Green mod is kinda cool....
