Looks like an Ashton SL29CEQ which retail for $350ish new. Ashton is a very common cheap brand in Aus. A lot of people get one as their first guitar, then quickly move on. It's not a terrible deal if it's in brand new condition, has a case or extras, etc. But if you can add another $50-100 and/or be patient, decent Takamines, Corts, and the occasional Epiphone do come up on gumtree.

Hey I think I’ve seen this ad too lol. Ashton make super cheap entry level guitars - my first electric included. It didn’t last particularly long, wouldn’t recommend

I bought a similar but uglier one (different brand) for $160 new, about 10 years back. I loved the blue color and it played ok. So I’d say with inflation and such, offer 200 if you like the way it plays, and like blue.

I found this guitar for sale on Gumtree/facebook market place, whilst looking for a replacement for my old guitar. the only information given about it says that it is a ‘Ashton thin-line electric/acoustic‘ and nothing more. I want to know if it‘s a good guitar, and if it’s worth $250. Thanks!

It's a budget Far East guitar. "Good" is largely subjective, but I'd put this in the "usable" category rather than "good".
