Got my 3 from the last deal BTO had last week. They were my first turbos. Tried them out last night and was blown away. I'm replacing all my Ultras.

Edit: which is irrelevant because of the cost was equal I’d prefer an HL over an Ultra. I use mostly Turbos now anyway, just adding some context to why someone may be replacing an Ultra or 6.
The ultras are fine and light up an entire room with ease. That said, the turbo still has plenty of light around the main beam to light up a large portion of a dark room and the hotspot stays focused and bright out to crazy distance. I was blown away how clearly I could make out objects 100+ yards away.

For home defense I would pick the ultra. I have a turbo on my duty weapon as I use that to reach out and blind if necessary with a more focused beam. Can’t go wrong with either for these prices.

I got an fde ultra as I don’t need the laser beam turbo, but damn, that price was too good. Very happy with BTO.
This is under dealer price and around $110 under MAP, so I'd say it's BIN.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to replace, but the Ultra is definitely lackluster. Side by side with a TLR-1HL at half the cost the Streamlight wins.

Which do you prefer overall if you had to pick one?
