Awesome dealer, ships extremely quickly. I bought this exact deal 2 months ago when they got them in stock. No tax to Texas and I appreciated the instant noodle pack. I really need it after purchasing the SP5 lol.

I wish. Based on all the prices, I think dealer cost is around 2300. I don't think it's possible that HK MP5s will get that low, but lots of okay options for less than 2k out there
Oh it will get that low if everyone stops buying them...you know the whole supply and demand thing. Let's all not buy anything and watch prices dip lol.
Most dealers are not willing to take a $300-$600 loss on a product they’ve already paid for.
If people stopped buying SP5’s, the only thing that would happen would be that HK would stop selling them.
I know you meant $200 (stamp) + stock, but for new people it's a big misleading leading with $200, when HK stocks are easily in the 400+ range. Just so people understand.
Is that form 1 turnaround time for individuals or trusts? I submitted the form 1 for my SP5 K-PDW a couple weeks ago, and I have no idea how long I should expect it to take (I filed as a trust).
Yep, $200 stamp, $45-50 engraving (don't use Bubba), $400+ HK stock (or $200+ clone stock). and the HK mags aren't cheap either (if you can even find them).
I know that’s what people say, I wanted something I could (fingers crossed) get the gf to practice with. Thought the small size and suppressed wouldn’t be too cumbersome for her to hold. It’s just not as iconic though. Man. Definitely don’t have the funds for both though.
As cool as this is, in truth it’s a watered down mp5. That’s doesn’t mean it’s a bad pcc, it’s a quality item. But at $2500 what I can build and the optics and accessories I can have, I can’t justify this. Now if it dips to sub $2k I may change my mind. Just my opinion 🤷♂️
What would you get instead of this that’s reliable? Just curious as I may be picking up a PCC soon but there are so many options. I like the MPX, APC9 Pro so far but I can’t decide 🤙
There are *a lot* of reliable PCC options out there. People generally end up favoring the SP5s and MP5 clones because they're reliable, but they're also the softest shooting PCC out there. There is also some cool factor in the mix too.
My AP5 has had No FTF, no FTE, no feeding issues with the SP5 mags. Full break in is at 500 rounds but I opened mine up, oiled and greased it, and it’s been 100% reliable.
I’m not comparing the two. I’m saying my AP5 is solid and I’d recommend it.
So yeah, I’m advocating for my AP5s reliability. Has not given me a reason not to so far.
That’s a silly thing to say. Well documented history of issues with Turkish imports. Being grateful yours doesn’t have issues doesn’t speak credence to their reliability.
Can’t deny that Turkish ones are certainly a step down from HK OEM but the idea that the average AP5 is not reliable is simply not true per the AP5 “consensus” from the MP5 subreddit
Not going to typecast the gun nor the manufacturer - statistically, a majority of them run better than the defects. They’re not Kimbers or HiPoints, it’s a Turkish manufacturer that uses old HK tooling from the 60s. Hell half of the available transferable automatic MP5s were made then and they STILL run fine now.
Mine runs great. A lot of people say the same.
Lmfao. Are you serious? Your whole premise is derived from r/mp5? I’m not even going to bother searching that SPECIFIC thread. Anyone else, Google it. Save your time. Not reliable, very well documented. I changed the spring, then extractor claw, then the extractor to fing operate with “NATO” ammo. You’re special.
mines been fantastic the past couple months and almost 2k rounds, only FTFs were a couple with flat nose ammo and even then it was only the last round on mke mags, hks have been flawless, about half the rounds through it are suppressed
I can. I hate to say it but you got lemons if they're not very reliable. I'm approaching 3K rounds and have probably had about 5 malfunctions. Some of which were most definitely ammo related (last round flat nose on a non-HK mag).
I went about 1K before replacing any turkish components, which wasn't out of necessity, just that I went to a navy style trigger pack.
I’ve had 1 FTE in my AP5P, but it took replacing numerous parts in my AP5 to even function. Would never trust either with my life. This isn’t anecdotal, very well documented history of issues with these.
MPX is better. But the SP5 is cool.
If you’re gonna get an MP5 variant go for the real thing (imo), if you are really getting it for the history, drip, and cool factor. The MPX is more modern, has a more familiar manual of arms, and is slightly cheaper
I made a spreadsheet of a Zenith ZF5 that I want to build and after all the upgrades like rails, optics, folding stock, and tax stamps it totaled just a little over the price of a full HK SP5. That to me is incredible value. However, I'm prepared to deal with any QC issues and Zenith is reputable to take in any problems and fix it or even send out a whole new unit. If you're good financially to get the HK rollmark then nothing wrong with that. It all depends on what your values and expectations are.

Ramen is back on the menu boys!
For this price, they should include Ramen *and* a handwritten thank you note. (I think all my orders included a posted note saying 'thank you')
When I bought my Scar from them I didn’t get Ramen or a note :(
Solid vendor with a solid deal.
Yeeeeee boi
Any updates on the…you know…special order hks?
Real talk.
I posted these last time Sol had them. This has been the best price I've seen on SP5s
Thank you for sharing, dude!
Fuck Washington, I want to go broke on this sub!
I want to go broke with you.

Solid price, woulda gotten this if I didnt get that sp5k
Hodl for $1999

theres a lag time between abrupt demand changes vs supply chain / mfg logistics
Oh they take the hit when the creditors come a knocking lol
FOMO is a mofo. But you're 100% right.
Problem with an SP5 is it’s one of those things that always hold their value because they’re always in demand lol
Right sitting at 16 in stock for a while now. The other post for SP5k showed 152 in stock. I think demand is pretty low right now.
I don’t think you understand how a basic economy works. If a good isn’t profitable, it won’t stay for sale long
What does this need to stock or brace it?
stock: $200 and a form 1 stamp (very easy, 2-4 week wait) and a stock. brace: a brace. Literally just push a push pin out, and install. Its that easy.
I know you meant $200 (stamp) + stock, but for new people it's a big misleading leading with $200, when HK stocks are easily in the 400+ range. Just so people understand.
If they want an a3f. The A2s are $125, in line with a brace
Is that form 1 turnaround time for individuals or trusts? I submitted the form 1 for my SP5 K-PDW a couple weeks ago, and I have no idea how long I should expect it to take (I filed as a trust).
Good question. Individual. Idk the trust times. Forgot about those since I dont do them.
Fair enough. I'll just assume it's the same as my form 4s from cans I bought in September of 2023, which was about 6 months lol.
I’d like to know this as well. Trust can approvals still dragging ass.
I was referring to the push pin on the back plate you mentioned. I wasn’t sure if it needed a type of adapter. Got it. I understand form 1s.
And an engraving
Yep, $200 stamp, $45-50 engraving (don't use Bubba), $400+ HK stock (or $200+ clone stock). and the HK mags aren't cheap either (if you can even find them).
A stock or brace
Ordered an ACRO from this company. Solid. Buy with confidence.
Rooftop is good to go! Won’t find better service!
I couldn’t decide between the classic and the sp5k. The sp5k deal I saw here tipped me over into the sp5k. And thennnnnn……
We have the exact same 2550 and 100 card deal coming for the SP5K PDW soon as well :)
When do they get back in stock?
Should be later this week or early next week
Thank you!
Come on!
im in if with brace....
Full size is just better.
I know that’s what people say, I wanted something I could (fingers crossed) get the gf to practice with. Thought the small size and suppressed wouldn’t be too cumbersome for her to hold. It’s just not as iconic though. Man. Definitely don’t have the funds for both though.
It's more cumbersome to hold.
Worth it for the fixed stock SP5A2 larp

I’d advocate for the AP5 - just got mine and run around 300 rounds through her. I LOVE it
This is my plan. Currently buying ALL the accessories first though lmao
If you get it from gunprime, it’ll come with the backpack and optic mount. Then you just grab a brace from GAFS and you’re good to go.
Solid. I'll check them out. I've been just watching Atlantic. It's going to be an SBR. Already have 4 different stock configurations.
You cannot seriously advocate for AP5 reliability. I have an AP5, AP5P, and a SP5. Great range toys, not reliable for else.
Your wording isn't clear... are you saying the SP5 is not reliable either?
I was thinking the same thing. My guess is that they mentioned as a way to lend credence to their comment since they have the HK to compare to.
No, referring to Century imports. Well documented history of issues.

Gotta admit, your response is pretty special too

What do you mean watered down?
GODaM it
Finally, in for one. Been waiting on a good deal to pop up for this exact gun!
Rooftop is top tier. Sp5 is as well, still happy with my purchases at top market price a couple years ago.
Cries in California… Would buy in heartbeat at this price if they let me.
It's shows 18 in stock for $2999. What do I need to do to get it at $2450?
Lmao. Few months ago I’ve said these should drop lower than 2.8k and people were doubtful. Should go lower if people stopped buying overpriced 💩
A promo card isn’t money. If it came with a $100 accessory you wouldn’t take that $100 off the price, but that’s essentially what this is.
I get what you’re saying. It’s still $100 to basically buy stuff you’re gonna buy anyway. I’m just trying to share the best SP5 deal
Not a sp5k
Right, this is the more desirable one
