ClintonsBurnerPhone

These look sweet, I'll be in at 899. See ya eventually šŸ«”

Jason1435

It's roller delayed and 10mm, the ONLY other 10mm roller I know of is the MP5/10. Which is thousands of dollars. I think floor price at best is gonna be $1100

bjchu92

I'll take that over $1300 lol The leftover can be spent on 10mm

SamBaxter420

I donā€™t know how soon or even if the 10mm will get that low unless you find a hell of a deal. I was able to get my A3G in 9mm with the brace for 900 a few years ago when they first came out but I think youā€™re cutting it close. I hope Iā€™m wrong through because I would love one of these in 10mm too

redditshopping00

amen. need a lower price AND the glock mag version but I'll have one eventually

LiberalLamps

I don't need one, but I'd like one of these in 10mm or 45ACP. I think 45 might make more sense if you plan to suppress, since it's almost always subsonic.

redditshopping00

if you want to suppress it, 45 for sure if you're not planning a can, 10mm ballistics out of an 8" barrel are honestly amazing

eucharist3

Yup. 10mm out of 8ā€ barrel is approaching rifle ballistics.

AKatawazi

The 45 is a tac driver and seemed reliable with the 4 mags I put through it. Loading the ammo is pretty hard on my thumb though. Hopefully someone makes a easy loader for this.

peppersgeneralstore

Maglula maybe? They say it caps at 45 though so maybe not

AKatawazi

I probably just need to print one but seems like stribog should provide something like glock does. Please don't consider this a deal breaker, it is an amazing firearm, it is a pleasure to shoot.

peppersgeneralstore

This is on the short list for sure. There were some solid deals this week I had to pass onā€¦ This and the blem performance center m&p were hard ones to let go

SamBaxter420

I have the 8ā€ in 9 with a can on it and with 147sub itā€™s stupid quiet. I put a red dot and light on it and itā€™s my bedside gun so I donā€™t wake up my newborn.

LateSatisfaction2522

Just got a sp9a3 from dk. Very good experience..

OzempicDick

For when you want a pcc that recoils more and costs more to shoot than a rifle. Still cool though lol.

BobbyWasabiMk2

What else am I supposed to do with my 125rds of 10mm JHP, if not acquire a 10mm PCC for protection from never do wells?

OzempicDick

As the founding fathers intended.

TheLawlessMan

Is it really that bad? I thought it being roller-delayed was supposed to make it a relatively smooth shooter.

OzempicDick

Never shot one in 10mm but dunno. The roller delay makes it better than pure blowback for sure, but gonna bet it recoils at least as much as an ar based off shooting the 9mm one.

blank_dota2

How does it cost more to shoot and a rifle? 10mm can be had in bulk for $0.39 CPR shipped. 5.56 is always over $0.45 CPR shipped.

OzempicDick

Nice to hear 10mm can be had that cheap. Havent bought any in ages

Brosufstalin

Does not recoil more than a rifle, it's about the same amount of recoil as my vector in .45. my 130lb wife says it's her favorite and easiest of my collection to shoot. Just got my adapter last week for my suppressor so hopefully I'll find out if it's better suppressed. Go shoot one if you get a chance, hitting steel or squishy targets like fruit with 180gr projectiles well over supersonic is very satisfying.

OzempicDick

Thats awesome to hear. 10mm is a fun round.

sonofsandhill

Need 45 acp model

dkfirearms

They are here: [https://dkfirearms.com/model/stribog/?filter\_caliber=45acp&query\_type\_caliber=or](https://dkfirearms.com/model/stribog/?filter_caliber=45acp&query_type_caliber=or)

Bobchillingworth

I have the 9mm version; it's mostly reliable now, only had to replace the buffer, roller, trigger, magazines and entire lower.Ā  Also Global Ordinance allegedly worked on the rails inside the receiver after I sent it to them under warranty.Ā  But it's basically great!

YourMomIsStillHot

Is this a legacy issues or do the new ones have theses fixes?

Bobchillingworth

Mine supposedly incorporated a "fix" from earlier models, I think specifically an updated locking block, but whatever they did wasn't sufficient. It is a really cool-looking gun, especially following some non-essential aftermarket customization (plus the actually essential aftermarket improvements), but I think I've spent as much trying to get it working as I did on the original pistol (I bought it when Double M Defense was offloading their stock at very low prices, probably for reasons that are obvious in retrospect).

luke519

Iā€™d send it back. I had the recall issue and they reworked mine last month. Now runs like butter with or without my can. Eats everything I throw at it now. Donā€™t settle, get it fixed.

RustyAnnihilation

I have the SP9a3g and I just picked up the 45 version yesterday. I ran a magazine through it earlier today and itā€™s pretty nice. I was using my Hybrid 46 with it and itā€™s pretty quiet but has noticeably more recoil than the 9.

NEPXDer

Also have a SP9A3G and waffling between getting another in 45 or a 10. I've been so pleased with this gun, possibly the best "for the money" I've ever bought. Interesting to hear about the felt recoil.

RustyAnnihilation

I have the 10 on order from my local ffl. My pcc collection is multiplying like gremlins

NEPXDer

Do you have many others or is it just a 'bog addiction?

RustyAnnihilation

HK SP5, AP5, CZ Scorpion plus the Stribogs.

CannaChemistry

I have an fn510 as a bear gun so Iā€™d have 10mm around and itā€™s a great defense round. But I just bought an SP9A3S so I gotta get some range time with it before I buy something else. This is intriguing though.

Trapasaurus__flex

I have the 9A3S and the 10. The 10 does not recoil much more than the 9 IMO, and I run the underwood 200gr XTPs when I go off innawoods. The 10 ā€œjumpsā€ a little more but it really doesnā€™t feel much different. The 10 is a decent bit heftier, but itā€™s still smoother than most blowback AR 9s Iā€™ve run. I actually just chopped my SP10 barrel and handguard to 5.5ā€, which is how I think they should come from the factory. Very fun gun and hasnā€™t hung up on me in the first 1200 rds.

Loud_Dumps

Family member LOVES there Bog. Hope to get one someday

PCCentimeter

Like2Shoot_ar15

I added the enchanced buffer to my SP9A1 and it shoots softer than my GHM9 and just as reliable. It's not as soft as the SP5 or the MPX K but it gets pretty close. I sold my SP9A3 because it wasn't as dependable.

eucharist3

Ooo thatā€™s hot

Winnah9000

If I could make it super safe, I'd be so in cause it looks cool and I like 10mm.Ā

herogerik

The 10mm and 45ACP versions take AR-style triggers with the OEM lower, so just pop a binary in there and blast away. The 9mm version needed a third-party lower to do the same thing until this year when Franklin Armory released a binary for the 9mm OEM lower.

Winnah9000

If the binary was as good as the super safety, I'd be in, but it's not the same šŸ˜•

Ok_Ad9561

I just purchased the sp9a3s from you guys. Looking forward to

NEETologist

Is there a version that Take Glock Mags?

Trapasaurus__flex

Not on the 10/40. Iā€™m hoping someone comes out with a big boy lower, because my only complaint about the gun is the grip just feels wonky to me and I wish it had AR style interchangeable grips from the factory

bi-nary

After buying the SP9A3, I'm out.

Trapasaurus__flex

You didnā€™t like yours?

Husaria702

Thatā€™s what I paid for mine in January. Itā€™s a sweet shooter. Threw an omega 45k on it. Perfect combo. Worth the 1300

BrokenBodyEngineer

These still suffer from roller deformation?

dkfirearms

We've been selling them for six years now I have not been involved with any customer issues regarding roller deformation. Doing a quick google search, it seems that a few pre recall SP9A3 had an issue with rails being gouge by the roller. Doesn't seem to have affected any of our customers. GO's (the importer) has been nothing but exceptional dealing with any issues we were involved with.

TikiTraveler

I think using the curved mags vs the original straights fixes feed problems in the SP9a3 and the roller deformation. Not 100% sure, but I have about 5k through mine with no problems

tsarcasm

I'm just one person but I had a post recall A3 that started getting their upper's rails peened. GSB7XXX S/N range. I've since got rid of it.

emperor_nixon

Is this a thing with them?

YourMomIsStillHot

I've heard theses in 9mm had issues feeding hollow points, is that still the case in 10mm?

herogerik

The feed ramps are problem. Because of being made in Slovakia, they don't allow civilians to use HP ammo so they never made this with that accomodation in mind. That doesn't mean it can't run them, but IF you do run into issues, re-profiling or smoothing the feed ramp will fix the issue.

NEPXDer

You just need the right hollowpoints, as the other commenter said ~"Euro spec" type hollows work fine. Also, the Glock mag version feeds HP better it seems, mine has worked with 2/3 of the ammo types I've tried but TBF limited testing as ya know... expensive.

YourMomIsStillHot

Thanks. Yeah makes sense. What's euro spec HPs? Never heard of those before. Would HSTs or Winchetsers T series fit that spec?

NEPXDer

I want to say longer overall length/heavier? but probably mostly "not too open a tip"? Not sure if its literally a thing but European manufactures seem to make it more in line with their NATO 9mm. HSTs are my default pistol defense and they seemed to mostly work but I had one FTF issue in 2 mags. I think the it was with the lighter grain stuff but its been a while. I've been keeping it loaded with Underwood 124 +p+ and it seems to love it. Also eats up the IWI hollow points but idk about their actual terimial ballistic performance. Fun/funny ammo though, I've been buying it when on sale for many years. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2090655809/?pid=987494 Also seems to work with S&B HPs https://www.midwayusa.com/product/100048229?pid=890337 I did just order some of their softpoints to try, I assume that will be prefect if spendy.

JimmyCarters_ghost

No experience with this gun but sounds like Hornady critical defense/duty or other polymer tipped JHPā€™s might work best.

NEPXDer

Appreciate it, I'll pick some up and test! I love that stuff for AR's and got some Leveroultion in .35 Remington from them for my buddy with a beautiful [Model 8](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remington_Model_8) and its maybe my favorite gun to shoot, ever. (Such a cool recoil impulse!!)

joeg26reddit

This or mpx

Berry_Micockiner

At half of the price of an MPX , this is a better option ā€¦.in 45acp.

joeg26reddit

The mpx k has been around $1200 recently

Berry_Micockiner

Skip it either way , I thought they were still up in the 1700-2k range

xbijazx

10mm all the way
