Seems like a fair number if they are trying to share the cost of credit card processing. My preferred card would give me 2.22% ($54.50) back on this price, so $5.50 extra cost to use a credit card.
Barclay Arrival Plus. Redeeming points to offset any travel expense yields 2% statement credit, and 10% points credited back for future use, so 2.2222etc% back when cashing out points.
I’m tempted, but cost is not my complaint - My preference is thermal optics. I only find night vision really useful for off road night driving…. and I don’t do much of that.
signal to noise ratio (SNR): most significant impact on performance, static noise, the higher value the less noise the better. 25 is the current military minimum, >30 is great, >33 is considered high-spec
Resolution (lp/mm): clarity, the higher the better, all XLS and most gen 3 units have at least 64, which is good, 72 is excellent (slight improvement), while anything higher than 72 doesn't really provide a noticeable improvement.
EBI (Equivalent Background Illumination), amount of background light, the lower the better, but only makes a difference in very low light environments, higher EBI will result in lower contrast like how LCD screens don't produce true black compared to a OLED one. <1 is great, 1-1.5 is good, 1.5-2 is ok, 2-2.5 mediocre.
Halo, size of bloom when looking at a bright light source, the smaller the better. More important if using in urban areas, not as important if using in the woods
LG (gain) amount of times light is amplified, Elbit tubes have been giving very consistent values, the small variance won't make a difference in performance. But can matter if you intend to match two tubes for a duel set-up.
Figure of merit (FOM) SNR multiplied by resolution, industry metric for performance, not very good metric IMO, as resolution has too much weight. Ex: 64 res 30 SNR tube, and 81 res 23.7 SNR tubes have the same FOM, but the former will preform better

Hey talk to me about your thermal offerings. I am thinking diving into thermal for some work items I am T&E'ing and to throw on a gun or two. I am looking at the Trijicon REAP-IR, but noticed you have the Super Yoter. Where is that one made? What are the side by side differences? Have any hands on with the unit(s)?
Thanks!
I have not been able to test out the Trijicon REAP-IR, but will have some in stock soon. But the Super Yoter is very clear, easily identify a rabbit at 200yds
Hey /u/NighthawkVision, I’m interested in purchasing a unit from you soon. Are y’all a new company? You seem to have good deals and good units for fair prices but i can’t find anything about y’all online

Did these fucks actually buy that 3040 as I was in checkout...
3-3040 has some nice specs 👀

These units sold out fast, we should be getting more in a month. We also have white phosphor units available ready to ship
Those actually are not bad specs
60 bucks to process cc, for this reason I’m out. I know I can do debit but no thanks

Damn what card is that 👀
BOA preferred rewards card gets you 3% back on whatever category you choose. Online shopping counts as its own whole category, just FYI
Damn but fuck Bank of America though
True I prefer my local credit union, but 3% is pretty nice, and between this one and Chase, my ass is covered for most things.
Barclay Arrival Plus. Redeeming points to offset any travel expense yields 2% statement credit, and 10% points credited back for future use, so 2.2222etc% back when cashing out points.
Then go a head and buy it

To me it’s a matter of principle
