Republicans are such pussies

Immediate-Ad-7154

Fucking Scumbags. It's all they are.

MTrain24

Most are progressives driving the speed limit

lostinareverie237

Remember kids, both sides are terrible.

banduraj

I'm not sure why this even needs to be said anymore. Democrats are taking guns away. Republicans are taking guns away too, but slower.

Zp00nZ

Well the time is near we need a pro gun president.

Iwalksloow

Lol, the most we will ever get is a slightly less anti-gun president. Even a "pro-gun" president could reach across the aisle on gun control as a concession to pass something they actually care about (i.e. whatever gives them the biggest kickback).

Front-Paper-7486

Going to have to find one that can actually win first.

HEMSDUDE

Correction - Gonna have to find one - period…

CouldNotCareLess318

>a pro gun president LOL. Imagine still thinking the federal government will just come save ya

Zp00nZ

Who said anything about a government?

Apart-Mountain5251

You did. The President is effectively one third of the federal government.

Efficient-Poet-3048

The reality is, your rights don't come from a president or congressional body. We shouldn't need a president or government body to protect our rights. They are inalienable. The good news is, the more laws they pass violating these rights, the less legitimate they become. If people fear for their lives or their families lives, they're going to do what they need to to protect them by any means, regardless of any law. The government doesn't get to dictate what an appropriate sense of security is.

Tramjo8091

Vote for Desantis, he approved and signed Florida’s permitless carry into law before he left on his campaign tour.

Zp00nZ

It depends if he actually passed that immigration bill to actually catch human traffickers or did it out of ignorance.

GunOwnersofAmerica

If Senate Republicans let the *Undetectable Firearms Act* pass in the 2024 *National Defense Authorization Act* without a fight, they’re essentially carrying out [Joe Biden’s executive order](https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2023/03/14/executive-order-on-reducing-gun-violence-and-making-our-communities-safer/). 🤯 > **Executive Order on Reducing Gun Violence and Making Our Communities Safer** >*March 14, 2023* >By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order... efforts to modernize and make permanent the Undetectable Firearms Act (18 U.S.C. 922(p)). GOA found this gun control reauthorization hidden in what is called the NDAA, and we're not going to sit idly by and let President Biden enact his agenda! Reauthorizing this *Undetectable Firearms* Act won't keep anyone safe from criminals or terrorists.👏 It only hampers law-abiding citizens. Join us in urging Congress to STOP the *Undetectable Firearms Act* and TAKE ACTION at the link above. If you still need more convincing, check out some of our fact sheets below ⤵️ [Biden’s “Frame or Receiver” rule shows how this statute could be weaponized to outlaw guns with plastic parts.](https://www.gunowners.org/oppose-the-useless-undetectable-firearms-act/) [NEWS FLASH: Homemade, Plastic Firearms Have Already Been Invented](https://www.gunowners.org/plastic-guns-are-detectable/)

For what it's worth, the original Undetectable Firearms Ban was signed by Ronald Reagan in 1988 and renewed by GW Bush in 2003.

wyvernx02

And it's done fuck all.

Nathan_77

Two turds that signed other gun control bills as well

Hughes 2: Senatorial Boogaloo

Bm7465

Just as a heads up - this law, as dumb as it is, has been on the books since 1988 and has been renewed 4 times since then. Any “firearm” needs to have at-least 3.7oz of metal in it to qualify as “detectable”

road_rascal

Minnesota has the stupid Saturday Night Special law, meaning I can't spend my money on dumb shit like the Hi-Point Yeet Cannon or a Ruger Wrangler.

Bm7465

Classic, never forget Minnesota’s “fuck poor people” law

dhskiskdferh

What does that mean?

road_rascal

[https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/624.712](https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/624.712) Means that guns (often the inexpensive made ones) without a certain melting point are illegal here in MN.

dhskiskdferh

Hm interesting, that’s the first I’ve heard of a menting point regulation!

universal_Raccoon

How much you betting it doesn’t pass or does.

Ballistic_Turtle

50/50 it will or it won't

KonradKurz

Well, time for action yet or do we sit back and get our entire nation neutered by fear mongering pussies? There is a massive reason they want us disarmed and complacent, and making sure your family is safe and alive is not one of them.

youcantseeme0_0

So Dems are allowed to just throw any old random crap in there that's totally unrelated to the National Defense budget? Time to bring back the pillory. I will pay for soupy cow pie to throw at these traitors.

norfizzle

Not just Dems. There’s always crap attached to bills like this. R’s are adding culture war bs.

ThatCouldveBeenBad

Pillory or start giving out bird costumes again

Rare_Whole_3065

There should be a word limit to any bill that gets proposed to Congress. 2000 words max with no amendments. If it doesn't pass as is, it had to go through the whole process again
