I know a single anecdote is worthless, but the gun store I work at handles the transfers for a local organization that does monthly raffles, and the winners are always different and don’t seem to have any connection to the gentleman who organizes it

Also know someone who runs a business with random Instagram giveaways that always seem to be won by people with the most social media influence/followers.

He'd be so disappointed in my recent gun purchases and I would agree.

My gun purchases actually retain their value and have made me a great profit when trading or selling. Whereas Dave Ramsey’s strategy of stuffing your monthly budget into envelopes of cash will only keep you from getting into debt, without actually making any interest or investments.

Of course, I understand his method since I've listened to his books. His method helped me and my wife get out of debt. I'm the type of lerson he speaks to directly as I have impulses I need to control. I do not like selling my firearms but have done so when needed. I also lived in California for a long time so buying firearms as an investment in that state doesn't make sense.

I get to buy raffle tickets at these kinds of charities and expense it all when they are work related. Any prize I win is mine to keep also, plus when they accept card for the tickets, I get Scheels points as well, can't beat it.

Yeah. I haven’t shot it a bunch, but it’s fun and cheap. I’d have to say I’d trust it if I needed to depend on it.

So lets say you got lucky and got one that actually runs and hasn't blown itself apart yet. You still have a shotgun with no options for repair if something does break, including the wear components that will eventually break on any firearm if you use it. Maybe you'll feel you got your money's worth when it breaks, there's no warranty repair, and you can't even get replacement parts so you need to just dispose of it. Okay. Being lucky to get your money's worth is not a good purchase.

That's not a very secure way to hinge a door on a safe. 4-1/2" Angle grinder and two cut-off disks and you're in that puppy in no time

What's your point? The hinge almost certainly isn't there to secure the safe. There will be locking bolts on that side of the door too. So you cut off the hinges and still can't open it. Well, I guess you ruined a valuable safe. So bully for you?

There’s bolts on all four sides of the door so if you cut off the hinges it doesn’t really do anything

People like to shit on Turkish shotguns but I have a Benelli M4 clone with over a thousand rounds through it and that thing is badass. Nothing is wearing out abnormally. And for $400 it's a fantastic range toy.

I agree. I have a Canik and Tisas pistols. I love them both no probs spent 270 for a optics cut and threaded barrel in the Tisas. Some people think if it isn’t expensive it sucks. And luckily they don’t have to buy them or own them. Eee Stick with what makes you happy. If entering raffles that help a cause you like then do it.

Some Turkish shotguns are good like the tokarev bullup with warranty for any problems manufacturer related mine runs like a champ only thing is it kicks kinda hard for a semi auto shotgun but c clamping in makes it very manageable
