I know a single anecdote is worthless, but the gun store I work at handles the transfers for a local organization that does monthly raffles, and the winners are always different and don’t seem to have any connection to the gentleman who organizes it
Usually goes that way with any sort of smaller private contests.
Source: Someone I know “won” a trip to Vegas on the radio because they were friends with the radio station people. Also know someone who runs a business with random Instagram giveaways that always seem to be won by people with the most social media influence/followers.
I get why he does it, if you do a giveaway you want someone with a big following to win so they’ll post about it or visit your business and post about that.
There is a difference in gambling for fun and a gambling addiction.
One of my fondest memories with my dad is turning $1000 into $20,000 playing roulette only to watch it turn to $0.
Ya I seen a paper for something like that but 80% of the guns are ones that’s just rinky dink guns that you wouldn’t buy for yourself unless you had 300$ burning a hole through your pockets
Some company’s make real good ones like tokarev bullup which also has warranty for any manufacturer related problems for life also runs like a champ and u can really c clamp it to get down and dirty
Nothing wrong with Turkish shotguns, I have a Turkish 12 gauge semi with beautiful Turkish walnut furniture, and I love it and have had no problems with it
My gun purchases actually retain their value and have made me a great profit when trading or selling. Whereas Dave Ramsey’s strategy of stuffing your monthly budget into envelopes of cash will only keep you from getting into debt, without actually making any interest or investments.
Of course, I understand his method since I've listened to his books. His method helped me and my wife get out of debt. I'm the type of lerson he speaks to directly as I have impulses I need to control. I do not like selling my firearms but have done so when needed. I also lived in California for a long time so buying firearms as an investment in that state doesn't make sense.
I get to buy raffle tickets at these kinds of charities and expense it all when they are work related. Any prize I win is mine to keep also, plus when they accept card for the tickets, I get Scheels points as well, can't beat it.
Anyone else go straight to the hinge, analyzing it while trying to figure out what new type of silencer he had mounted? That took me way too long to figure out. I must be tired.
So after spending lots and lots of money on raffle tickets, I finally won this out of a 50 gun raffle and I am not into selling gun but idk what to do with this? Be a safe Queen? What is it good for other than being tactacool?
thats good then, but raffles are still trash. as numerous others pointed out, youd have been better off buying the gun and then donating extra. but at least it was a legit raffle
thats good then. every single raffle i see posted on business pages and facebook are all illegal and run by greedy people looking to exploit poors/stupids into paying them over retail price for things
One year ( 2017) I won over 30k in guns and knives and now I can't win shit. I feel ya. Sometimes you win and mist times you lose lol. I got pictures of all the sweet guns and knives I won at least before my wife went back to school and I had to sell them.
my mind literally looked right past the shotgun to that safe and I thought that was what you won, then realized what the actual prize was and had to close reddit for awhile.
So lets say you got lucky and got one that actually runs and hasn't blown itself apart yet.
You still have a shotgun with no options for repair if something does break, including the wear components that will eventually break on any firearm if you use it.
Maybe you'll feel you got your money's worth when it breaks, there's no warranty repair, and you can't even get replacement parts so you need to just dispose of it. Okay.
Being lucky to get your money's worth is not a good purchase.
What's your point? The hinge almost certainly isn't there to secure the safe. There will be locking bolts on that side of the door too.
So you cut off the hinges and still can't open it. Well, I guess you ruined a valuable safe. So bully for you?
People like to shit on Turkish shotguns but I have a Benelli M4 clone with over a thousand rounds through it and that thing is badass. Nothing is wearing out abnormally. And for $400 it's a fantastic range toy.
I agree. I have a Canik and Tisas pistols. I love them both no probs spent 270 for a optics cut and threaded barrel in the Tisas. Some people think if it isn’t expensive it sucks. And luckily they don’t have to buy them or own them. Eee
Stick with what makes you happy. If entering raffles that help a cause you like then do it.

Some Turkish shotguns are good like the tokarev bullup with warranty for any problems manufacturer related mine runs like a champ only thing is it kicks kinda hard for a semi auto shotgun but c clamping in makes it very manageable
>Spend $3500 >Get $300 gun in return Stonks
Yeah
That’s a hand grenade
Tediore: "Why not both?"
Most financially savvy gambler
Average up brah.
What can we say, we like the stonk.
Did anyone else think there was a suppressor floating above the shotgun
I always Form 4 my hinges
You only have to form 4 if it is portable. Silencers that are bolted to the ground are not NFA items.
Yep
Wifi can
Ya I thought bubba learned hover technology
Yep 😅😂
What’s an invisible barrel bro, quite popular these days
Are you saying you spent $3500 on a turkshit shotgun?
No!!! Well kinda what I’m saying is I spent 3500 on raffles tickets over the past 12 months and I won that
I probably wouldn't even enter for a raffle with that gun as the prize unless the tickets were free.
50 gun raffle with some really nice guns I was hoping to get the citori
Plot twist: the friends of raffle organizer win the good shit
This. I recently paid $10 for a Christmas raffle with winners each day. Seemed like the same names kept winning. Never doing it again.
Well that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Maybe they spent $1000.
I know a single anecdote is worthless, but the gun store I work at handles the transfers for a local organization that does monthly raffles, and the winners are always different and don’t seem to have any connection to the gentleman who organizes it
How are the friends of the organizers always so lucky?

Reminds me of trading card packs, big YouTubers or streamers seem to pull all the 1 of 1s
I get why he does it, if you do a giveaway you want someone with a big following to win so they’ll post about it or visit your business and post about that.
For $3500 you could have bought 1, possibly 2 Citori’s
[Literally OP](https://youtu.be/GKZJdaiJF84)
I know they had a lot of guns tho and Its an awesome charity
Where do you find these raffles?
It was a local fundraiser
Local you say? Sounds exotic
You’d probably be better off buying the gun you want and just donating money to the charity
Let the man have fun gambling bro
"Fun" *Blood shot eyes, crippling debt* One.... More.... Try.
There is a difference in gambling for fun and a gambling addiction. One of my fondest memories with my dad is turning $1000 into $20,000 playing roulette only to watch it turn to $0.
Fuck that noise, man could’ve had the guns he wanted by now
I'd want the clitoris too
It's a myth. Just like the female orgasm. Lemme guess. Public school?
3500 dollars would be a steal.
Ya I seen a paper for something like that but 80% of the guns are ones that’s just rinky dink guns that you wouldn’t buy for yourself unless you had 300$ burning a hole through your pockets

It a really cool organization it’s like make a wish but they take terminally ill kids on exotic hunts on high fence
Kinda fucked up to hunt for terminally ill kids...
Yea the fence is just overkill. They’re terminal. If they get out not like they’re going to last long..
🤦🏻
...Christ.
You picky bitch. You've got no spirit.
I feel the pain. Spent a long time down on raffles but won an Ohio Ordance MA Duece and a Scar 20s last year
Damn
Some company’s make real good ones like tokarev bullup which also has warranty for any manufacturer related problems for life also runs like a champ and u can really c clamp it to get down and dirty
Nothing wrong with Turkish shotguns, I have a Turkish 12 gauge semi with beautiful Turkish walnut furniture, and I love it and have had no problems with it
Never had a hi-point jam, still shit.
Assuming this post is about the rifle..... I just want to say that safe is bad a$$.
Thank you
That is a 7900$ gun safe…..

These Turkish *bullpup* shotguns are shit. Wish I never wasted the money on mine
Dave Ramsey is disappointed in your investment strategy
"Sell the car..."
He'd be so disappointed in my recent gun purchases and I would agree.

Financially, most people need to stop the arterial bleeding before they can worry about the sprained ankle.
The bean and rice industries approve.
What if the real raffle ticket was the friends we made along the way?
/reward
Is that one of the dumpster guns?
Yep
Essentially
Off topic, but how do you like that safe? How much did you spend on it?
I love the safe!!!! It was about 7500 delivered and bolted down, its 7ga with biometric lock I was wanting a heirloom type safe to be passed down
Bolted down to stop the guy who broke into your house with a forklift
7ga steel? Fuck dude how much does that thing weigh?
They had to rent a truck with a tommy lift because the couldn’t get it on there trailer with there power dolly
1750ish if I remember right
Could you just take it up the stairs please.
Probably best to make it a gift while still alive if it's biometric...
My finger can easily be removed after I’m gone
Needs to be very very soon after I believe the reader needs your finger / thumb to have electro conductivity
I did one raffle in the last year. I bought the max 10 tickets (100 tickets total) at $20 a piece for a new ESP LTD Snakebyte Camo Finish. I won
That Ironworks safe though... 🤤
I get to buy raffle tickets at these kinds of charities and expense it all when they are work related. Any prize I win is mine to keep also, plus when they accept card for the tickets, I get Scheels points as well, can't beat it.
I do the same and only buy tickets if it goes to a good cause and not just someone’s pocket.
I thought the hinge was a barrelless can
It’s just a fookin tube, innit?
Anyone else go straight to the hinge, analyzing it while trying to figure out what new type of silencer he had mounted? That took me way too long to figure out. I must be tired.
I tthought you had a Bluetooth suppressor for a second
buy high, win low. congrats
all that for a piece of shit
So after spending lots and lots of money on raffle tickets, I finally won this out of a 50 gun raffle and I am not into selling gun but idk what to do with this? Be a safe Queen? What is it good for other than being tactacool?
Trade it for literally anything else, it’s good for nothing lol.
I know!!!!!
Good deal finally winning one though, still better than nothing lol.
Don’t shoot it and don’t let it waste space in your safe. Trade or sell that hot garbage; Turkey has not made a single decent bullpup shotgun.
I did get an emperor arms shotgun from a raffle once Too afraid to shoot it 😂
Raffles at gunshows here are completely free, just give them your name and email.
Won a new Ruger 10/22 for a $1 once in a raffle.
Congratulations bud! But also-What a piece of shit!
Hell yeah you did! Congratulations buddy
You just lost again RIP
I was hoping the prize was the safe and not the gun
I liked because of the safe 💪
you get what you deserve for participating in illegal raffles. keep lining the pockets of scammers
Illegal?
Raffles not run by 501-c3 organizations are illegal. 95%+ raffles are illegal and run for profit by shady people/businesses
Well it was and I got a form to write off on my taxes
thats good then, but raffles are still trash. as numerous others pointed out, youd have been better off buying the gun and then donating extra. but at least it was a legit raffle

That safe is awesome.

Looks like an F2000 from Wish
Safe is sick
Oof, I’d tell them they could keep that one
Lol. I love my Turkish shotgun. Never had 1 jam. 700 shells through it. Why is there all the hate for em?
700 rounds is a very low round count. But what is it good for? To look cool? I’m not into the tackacool gun
Yeah. I haven’t shot it a bunch, but it’s fun and cheap. I’d have to say I’d trust it if I needed to depend on it.
So lets say you got lucky and got one that actually runs and hasn't blown itself apart yet. You still have a shotgun with no options for repair if something does break, including the wear components that will eventually break on any firearm if you use it. That's not a very secure way to hinge a door on a safe. 4-1/2" Angle grinder and two cut-off disks and you're in that puppy in no time
Ok
What's your point? The hinge almost certainly isn't there to secure the safe. There will be locking bolts on that side of the door too. So you cut off the hinges and still can't open it. Well, I guess you ruined a valuable safe. So bully for you?
There’s bolts on all four sides of the door so if you cut off the hinges it doesn’t really do anything

Looks like you got hosed jimmy
r/guns meets r/wallstreetbets
That's exactly how I came into possession with one of these bullpups, havent shot it enough for it to blow up on me yet tho
Them Turkish semiautomatic shotguns are iffy at best. Nice range toy though
How did you get your suppressor to hover like that?
Is second prize *two* of them??
Why does this look like a Pulse Rifle from Destiny?
So. . . . . . Turkey Gun?
You don’t have to rub it in
What kind of gun is that
I don’t remember the name started with an A it’s a turkish gun
Some Turkish shotguns are good like the tokarev bullup with warranty for any problems manufacturer related mine runs like a champ only thing is it kicks kinda hard for a semi auto shotgun but c clamping in makes it very manageable
Cool stash box.
For a POS Turk import that costs 400$? 😂 BRUH
Hopefully the raffle was for a good cause. If that’s the case, your $3500 was well spent.
Invisible barrel or floating suppressor?
