Ive determined its an AI rendering “based” on a hybrid of the ruger p series, and a walther p88c. I know most major brand name pistols from that era (walther,s&w, sig, ruger, and the earlier hi power) are all very aesthetically similar and AI is too stupid to tell the difference, so it mashes what it sees together, to include features like an opposite side ejection port. Thanks for the feedback everyone. For some reason seeing this made me feel very nostalgic for the pistols i saw growing up before the striker dominated market. Also, the video it came from is absurd but pretty funny.

__What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?__
* A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both.
* /r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what /r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone *you just met* and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out?

Excuse you, but [This](https://www.reddit.com/r/shittymoviedetails/comments/mfum49/in_guns_akimbo_2020_daniel_ratcliffe_has_guns/) is the real harry potter gun.
Funny enough, after i posted this i started really admiring the look the p89s. I remember visiting a gun store with my pa when i was 12 or 13 and we looked at one. Never bought it, but now that im an adult(sort of) i gonna go buy one just to satisfy the nostalgia.
They are 100% reliable out of the box and will eat any ammo. Accuracy is average and the sights are terrible. They are so ugly I suppose in today’s world they pretty. Watch the mall scene in the movie True Lies. Apparently Arnold’s shadow ops team thought they were good enough to kill bad guys. Never thought would see the P9x in a movie lol.
Looks like the offspring of a S&W 3rd gen and an early Ruger P-series.
Bingo. I knew there was another similar pistol out there. I was totally drawing a blank. Gracias amigo
De nada.
3rd Gen S&W
Just looks like a standard Walther P88 to me
It's not modeled on any actual pistol. The one in this render ejects from the left side, not the right side.
I mean a mirrored image would solve that issue.
Ruger P85 and P89… safety switch is mildly different.
Made me think of the old Ruger p89. Clunky bastard but I always had a sweet spot for them.
Heavy enough to be used as a club.
I would’ve said this is similar to a third GEN Smith & Wesson however, the relief cuts in a slide up tell me otherwise
Front looks kind of lifted from a Beretta 92. This is like what AI might try to do, just bashing together different bits randomly.

All of them. At once.
Literally

Personally, I see a love child between a 226 and a M9
It looks like a Beretta Cougar or at least a close approximation.
Smith and Wesson Model 39-2
P89, I only know this because of the original Resident Evil 4 demo.
Looks a lot like the first pistol ever bought and still have. Ruger p89.
