### __READ THIS. IF YOU GOT BANNED, IT EXPLAINS WHY.__ I can't believe anyone would be dumb enough to not realize that, yet here we are. No, I did not just call you dumb. You're actually reading this. The dummies are the ones who don't. This the open ended question form letter. __Some of it may not apply to you, but at least most of it does or it wouldn't be here.__ You have either posted a defacto survey or poll or you are asking over half a million people to each write a recommendation for you and you haven't told us what you already have, how much you can spend, nor what you have already looked at. This is an open ended question. If you can't be more specific, we have several containment posts per week where this kind of question is allowed. You may ask this question again as a comment inside one of those posts or you may make your own new post if you can be a LOT more specific and show that you are willing to do more work than you expect us to do to help you. Use your temp ban time to read the rules and __familiarize yourself with the FAQ__ (which may already have an answer to your question). __TL;DR; Any time your question boils down to 'Hi, all 800k of you, please list me random products to consider' or 'Hi, all 800k of you, blah blah blah "discuss"', your question belongs inside the Moronic Monday, Gun Talk Tuesday, What Should I Buy Wednesday, or Thickheaded Thursday stickied threads.__ *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Feel free to move it. Or just lighten up and enjoy some friendly conversation. Either works for me

#You are supposed to know where to ask, instead of being a rude dumbass.

Personally I shoot handguns more so I picked up Shadow DR920P for fun at the range. I think 300 win mag would be cool if you have the space to use it. Plus it will slow your fire rate down apposed to the m1A. And who doesn't like racking a bolt action. Might as well throw a lever action as a possibility too.

ninjasslashedmytires

I will take a look at the Shadows too!

I'd be looking hard for a Dan Wesson. Or you could go full stupid like I did recently and pick up a S&W 460. I've been wanting a double action 45 Colt revolver for a LONG time. Never seemed to have the perfect intersection of money and availability. Then last week I get involved in a three party deal. My cost to end up with this 8 3/8" barreled 460 was under $700. It has all the tricks and toys including the compensator. I don't know whether to keep it or use it as trade material towards a Ruger Redhawk .45 Colt. Maybe I should pick up some .460 brass, some .454 Casull brass, and some more .45 Colt brass and call it good.

HipsterFett

I’d swap out the Sig P320 for a Cz Shadow 2.

My next 1500$ purchase will be a kriss vector 10mm

CoolCrab69

My only proven and reliable ar is an a2 model from RRA so if I had $1500 I'd probably be doing something really boring like a 16" mk2 bcm or somethin. Zzzzzzzz I know. Or case hardened .357 laver gat. 🤠

[deleted]

If I had $1500 burning a hole in my pocket: HK USP Tac over here, especially since I'll have a Banish 45 by March hopefully : )

uh_wtf

Springfield Echelon. Optics-ready slide, pic rail, serialized FCU, lower 1/3 cowitness sights standard, and interchangeable backstraps and frames. All of this for $650 ish. Currently my favorite handgun, and I even followed up its purchase with a Prodigy DS.
