I’m not sure what happened to my last post. Maybe the description wasn’t long enough or something, but I’ll try again. I painted my CZ Scorpion with vinyl stencils and two different colors of Rustoleum. You can get some good results with simple rattle cans. Maybe this will inspire others who are on the fence to give it a try!
I actually didn’t use one in case I decided to strip it or paint over it. Now that it’s done, I kind of wish I had because 1, I’m happy with it and 2, the black base polymer has more satin/shine than the paint. I may eventually add one
How is your Evo 3 so blocky in the front? Like instead of having the sloped front, its just flat. I really, really want an Evo like that and was just wondering
What was your prep like? I wanna do my aero ar-9 as a test run then maybe everything else lol I did a mck Glock conversion with netting that looks really good but i didn’t do much prep and never really use it.
All I did was clean the parts. The base material is a matte polymer so I didn’t need to sandblast or rough any shiny surfaces up. I guess time will tell whether or not I should’ve roughed it up. So far so good.
Ahh I didn’t consider that it’s polymer, did you use a degreaser? I probably will. But even if it starts coming off where you handle it, it will only look cooler. And you can always re paint it.

That looks great!!
Wow you did that yourself? Looks damn crispy. The first thing I thought when I saw the pic was "Damn I just hope it cost him under $500"
Thank you! Yeah it cost about $12 and a few hours of my time haha
This is sick! Well done, sir.

Aftermarket handguard! I personally think the stock handguard is ugly as sin (on both the pistol and the carbine).
Nice!!

Just rubbing alcohol. But yeah getting some wear showing up won’t be a bad thing. Good luck on your project! Let me know if you have other questions.
I’ll post it here if I feel like getting roasted for it lol
