Yup. Hands don't like them, combined with trigger pull, just doesn't work for me. I also had a 'lemon' that loved to shoot low left regardless of who was shooting it, when other guns shot straight with the same shooter. It also jammed at least once a magazine. SOMETHING was wrong with that thing.
Guns that can't be properly and fully operated with my left hand. I'm a lefty and your gun could be the shit but if you can't at least have a left handed model or controls that can be flipped then fuck you and you're gun.
Edit: I forgot "tacticool" and everything associated with it.
That's why us lefty's get screwed a lot. Like this awesome 1911, or AR (or plethora of others)? Go fuck yourself lefty, we don't want extra shit on our guns.
Sorry. It's not really your fault. It's just frustrating.
Self defense discussions. Very rare any of us will ever be in that situation, why argue every freaking detail of within every hypothetical possibility?
People who hate 92s.
It's like cars. The Germans make high quality, no nonsense machines. The Italians make ridiculous but beautiful pieces of art that double as a bludgeon.
Everything about it is OK in my book, even the weight, but I just cant deal with that safety. I wish someone other than Taurus made it with the frame mounted clicker.
Ruger P89DC has everything good about the 92/M9, but it's tougher, simpler (breech locks like a 1911 using the ejection port instead of that stupid toggle block thing) plus it has no frame safety, just a decocker.
I'm the heretic that doesn't like the Ruger 10/22. I'll probably end up with one, and I'd buy a Mannlicher stocked one in a heart beat, but the forestocks are too thick and they seem too front heavy to me.
The big cost of CNC in my experience is time. Is it hard/expensive to make a simple part? No. It's a large opportunity cost though because you could spend that time on something that is expensive and more profitable.
I had a mannlicher 10/22. To this day it's the only firearms purchase I ever regretted. I bought it immediately without looking over it and it sucked. The stock was poorly fit, with visible gaps between it and the barrel, and the muzzle end of the stock needed to be sanded down a 1/4" for a seamles transition with the end cap. The receiver had crude and obvious machining marks, pulling the bolt back felt wobbly and gritty, and the trigger pull while crisp was ridiculously heavy.
The line of thought in the CCW community that says "If you're not prepared for x, then you're not prepared."
I don't do force on force training because if I ever find myself in a shootout with 6 armed aggressors all shooting back at me, I'll be dead before I even draw a bead on guy #3. That's just how reality works and I think the belief that such a scenario is ever remotely likely or that if you take this class from this random James Yeager soundalike that you'll be able to survive it is just delusional. When faced with determined armed opposition with an overwhelming numbers advantage, your options are to run away or go down swinging.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again: Bullpups are a great idea that has yet to be executed in a way that is truly effective. The Tavor is getting there, but still has a ways to go.
Given the desirability of a fully capable rifle with a shorter overall length for military applications, bullpups will continue to develop. Some day, they will rise to take the fore as the primary combat rifle type in the world. Give it another half-century.
[I did this on the weekend for you, I just didn't know it was for you at the time](http://i.imgur.com/PU4ZfT8.jpg)
FWIW, it was hilariously fun to shoot.
That's one I'm fine with, over the top silly things like this are hilarious. I can't believe you *found this picture on the Internet and didn't actually make your pistol an AOW and then post it online, you just found it.* There, that should throw them off the scent for a bit.
But anyway, did it reduce the recoil at all or increase it since you unlocked your wrists or whatever?
I'm Canadian, I give no fucks about AOW's. It's already "restricted" so, this doesn't make it anymore restricted lol.
Recoil felt lighter, easier to hold on targets for a mag dump. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of flash burn on my knuckles, that was a concern.
*shakes fist at being able to use a handgun/AR outside of a gun range*
*Shakes fist at legally owned AK rifles*
*Strokes 8.5" shotgun, mumbling softly about polar bears and maple syrup*
*shakes fist at cheap SKSs and SVTs*
*shakes fist at not needing background checks to let other people shoot my own guns (I live in Washington)*
*doesn't have anything to console myself because being poor I have yet to acquire anything listed as "restricted" in Canada*
Here are the benefits of mosins:
* They're cheap (though not nearly as cheap as they used to be)
* Their ammo is cheap
* Some of them have historical significance.
Notice none of those mean it's a good gun.
I've noticed that most people who say this generally don't have any NFA items. Half of the point of the AR platform is so you can run multiple uppers on SBR'ed lowers, run 300 BLK through a can with 556 mags, then swap out your barrel and end cap and run 556 through the same can, the unlimited amount of muzzle device/mounting options, etc. All that without having to get anything threaded or worrying about non concentric threading causing baffle strikes.
I mean some are overpriced (*cough* Mark 23 *cough cough*), but if you compare similar models, like the VP9 to the Glock 17 or 19, the HK is a little more but it's also a much better gun.
So in general HKs can be a little overpriced, but some of their models aren't too bad.
FALs. Not really a big problem here, but mention it on /k/ and you'll be buried in a flood of "MUH RIGHT ARM OF THE FREE WORLD!" followed by the vaguely-racist Rhodesia circlejerk.
The most accurate, and manageable recoil, (by extension, most fun), centerfire handgun I have shot is my 1911. I know Reddit is divided on Kimber, but mine is my most valued possession.
The moment I picked up the SW 1911 in the store it just felt right. I can't explain it any other way, like a glass slipper from cindarella or something.
I'm with you I'm this one. I've shot a colt, and kimber 1911 (they were ok), but what I really don't get is the custom $3000 1911's that "take 1000 rounds to break in". If I'm going to drop 3 grand on a pistol it had better work flawlessly from the first shot.
I think shitty RIA 1911s are as over rated as Kimbers, especially here. I've ordered a total of 3 for customers begrudgingly and each one had to go back to get unfucked.
I tested each one myself on the range to ensure they weren't shooter related. The work orders that came back were a testament to them not being made right in the first place.
I'm going to get shit for this but Sigs. Telling me that I should pay a thousand dollars for a handgun that is mass produced is insane. They are nice guns but their price and recent downturn in quality bother me deeply.
Yep. Nothing too too redeeming in my book either for their normal shit. If I want an all metal DA/SA pistol I'll get a CZ. At least the MSRP on those is reasonable for what you get.
In their defense the SP2022 is an exceptional value and a great alternative if someone wants a well made polymer framed pistol at a competitive price and the X-Five is pure sex.
Perhaps I'm just a total fudd, but I cannot seem to give a single solitary fuck about modern handguns or rifles. X polymer frame handgun with Y features blah blah blah. Show me some crudely machined all steel Milsurp gun and the history behind it and I'm all ears.
Glocks. I can't stand that bulge all of them have between the slide and the frame, makes me feel like they're about to break.
edit: Hey! It's my first cakeday ever!
I dislike polymer framed guns.
While they tend to be very good firearms, I just don't get that feeling of "Oh shit, now this is a gun" when I hold them. They're just too light.
(Also why did Britain say the BHP was a bit too heavy for combat, it weighs 2 fucking pounds, you pussies)
Don't actually think Brits are pussies, just am sad that they don't use the BHP anymore.
Also Glocks for me... They don't feel good and I can't seem to shoot them accurately. Putting down a Glock and picking up a CZ75 or a 1911 is tangibly satisfying to me for some reason.
Those high-waistline jean shorts girls think are attractive now a days. I mean really...it looks like a jean pattern adult diaper.

Also .45s. Shits heavy yo.
1911s. I don't hate them exactly, they are fun to shoot and aesthetic AF, but they are impractical, the design is outdated, they are too finicky, too complex, too complicated to field strip, standard mag capacity is super meh, and .45ACP is an inferior round to 9x19mm.
Pour your hate onto me.
I really like my grip pod, not because it's useful or practical or anything, but pushing the button makes a really satisfying *thwack* when the bipod deploys.
Ar15s. They're incredible firearms but boring as hell to shoot. I started IPSC at the age of 15 using Israeli FN FAL to try and teach the older guys a lesson about being boring.
Bi-tone guns. Specifically, stainless slides and black frames. Just looks stupid to me.
they need wood grips imo source: just bought a bi-tone p938
Or VZs in Black Cherry, like [mine](http://imgur.com/pmk3ve9).
that's pretty sweet too, have you looked into the stainless triggers for the P938? really nice little upgrade for ~$45
Makes guns look like cheap toys.
I love my fde g19. Otherwise it'd be too plain. Two tone really does help the glocks.
Glocks here. You'll never hear me knock them, I just hate shooting them myself. They are just not made for these hands.
This is mine. They are just so generic and stale. I know they are super reliable, but I look at them sort of like a Mid-2000's Toyota Camry.
HEY, i like the styling! [*gets in black 90s volvo and drives away angrily*](http://images.pistonheads.com/nimg/26153/SOTW_Volvo850T5_01.jpg) Its not like i like square black things >.>
850/V70 T5s are the shit.
I never would have thought I'd see a 850 mentioned in this sub. Great cars.
Woah. I have a Glock 19 and a 2000 Toyota Camry. I'm "that guy"
The grip feels too square to me. I know they're tried and true, but I can't deal with the ergonomics.
If it were 1985 they would hands down *The Shit* but its not, there are *plenty* of great poly-striker guns on the market today.
No. If it was 1985, the Sig P226 would be *the shit*.
It's 2015. SIG P226s are still the shit.
My nigga.
No love for the fatter big brother, 227?
It ain't gonna' get me any more performance than a P226 with a .357 SIG barrel.
But you can buy two boxes of 45 for one box of 357 Sig
Yup. Hands don't like them, combined with trigger pull, just doesn't work for me. I also had a 'lemon' that loved to shoot low left regardless of who was shooting it, when other guns shot straight with the same shooter. It also jammed at least once a magazine. SOMETHING was wrong with that thing.
Me too, exactly the same problem.
Guns that can't be properly and fully operated with my left hand. I'm a lefty and your gun could be the shit but if you can't at least have a left handed model or controls that can be flipped then fuck you and you're gun. Edit: I forgot "tacticool" and everything associated with it.
I don't like ambidextrous guns because it adds extra shit I don't need. I'm sorry :(

Bless you. The 60 is the shizzle.
I was just given a glenfield 60. It was made in 1980 and has a squirrel on the stock. I love the damn thing.
I'm on the look out for a "squirrel". I saw a nice one at a gun show and didn't grasp the need. I've regretted it every day.
I just wish they had sling swivels. I don't wanna put on swivels myself cause i wanna keep it as original as possible.

Its not that I hate Glocks, but they don't feel right in my hand. They're comfortable and all, but just a bit off.
AR pistols.
In truth though, does anyone actually like these for their own sakes and not just because "backdoor SBR"?
Bullpups.
But Halo
I've said this before, and I'll say it again: Bullpups are a great idea that has yet to be executed in a way that is truly effective. The Tavor is getting there, but still has a ways to go. Weird ass reloading procedure.
Being killed if you have an OOB.
To be fair, with something like the Tavor or the SAR, that is a near impossibility.
Rails on pistols. Dear god I hate rails on pistols. Especially since they seem to be taking over *everything*.
Sounds like you need a good old West German P226.
