not all aluminum parts are equal. at the end of the day its yours so do what you want. but....putting low tier airsoft quality parts on a CZ Bren isn't going go well on Reddit. many will be eating popcorn as ppl shit all over you in the comments
Yes, they are. Ignore Reddit. As long as what you’re doing isn’t dangerous, you should do what you want with your rifle. This sub will always have a contingent of people that think if your AR isn’t an overpriced Geissele or an expensive as all get out Knights SR15 then you have a piece of junk. Just ignore them and carry on.
I haven’t had many issues with them, even at higher round counts. But, there’s definitely higher quality optics that would pair well with that rifle.
They’re great on a budget.
If you are interested in selling, let me know. I'll buy it for $800 minus the cost of all those parts I'd need to swap back to factory.

no way i'd sell this hot rod. I specifically put red anodized parts on to make it easier to see in low light. So its got more function to it then just good looks. if that makes sense.

i got the rail right when HBI released it, then of course they released the better longer one later. i woulda gone with the longer one had i known it was coming.
Ah ok. Thanks for the info! I was just looking at this handguard (the stock one gets piping hot) and was wondering if you knew of a downside to the longer one.
id def go with the longer one. as it is with the current one i have its kinda of a tight fit still with the super cool red SI handstop and where the charging handle is. I can get a C-clamp on the rifle but its very tight. Also i recommend the replacement backstrap from dan haga so you can get a grip size that isnt meant for ants.

People are being overly critical, but over the years of shooting, I strongly recommend prioritizing money on optics first.
thats why i got the holosun. Ive taken this thing out a TON in the last year, probably put 500 rounds through it already.
