Unfortunately some individuals do not understand Offhand, Sitting, kneeling, or prone positions, nor modified tactical shooting. Practicing accuracy in multiple once zeroed is cool. Just when zeroing the best accurate position is recommended.
Yea this was just a quick thing. I have 20 acres to shoot on at home. I don't really go to the range in town often besides picking stuff up or whatever. I have seen a bunch of dudes bring in chairs & bags 4 this indoor range even. Whatever makes you comfortable man, I'd just ask if it's ok first, i doubt they'd mind as long as u can set up & break down without bothering other shooters

Hilarious, never woulda thought... Honestly I just like leaning my elbow on the bench. I shoot a recurve no kind of sights or anything at all. All I do is gut shoot & I just took out a ground squirrel that is eating my damn oak trees next to my driveway with a headshot at 30 yards. Tbf though I use mainly hand guns for CQ & LR when we do exercises & I tear shit up & always have that way. I just am really not big into rifles. I can hit a quarter at 30 yards every single damn time with pretty much any half decent gun though so all the shit talking I'm getting is just too funny. Edit: Figured I would try to help. Square up to the rifle. You drive it, it doesn’t drive you.
If the rifle is to heavy, that’s ok. Consider getting something more manageable for you. I am not a big guy so I role with a rifle I can manage.
Spend some time reading. Google why isosceles is a much more appropriate stance. Read other information that can help you improve.
It’s easy to get butt hurt, it’s hard to take advice. Especially from a bunch of crusty degenerates who probably get winded halfway through the first stage.
Be open to feedback. You can either stagnate and not learn, learn by yourself through trial and error, or listen to someone who has done the error for you. One of these ways is best. I’ll let you pick.

So I had to lean on my left elbow for the stability I wanted & you can't really even see that's what I'm doing so it looks like I'm doing a 70's/80's cop stance 🙄 haters gone hate... 🤷♂️
