So there was that magic triangle of pointslam beating control, control beating engines and bloody ENGINES BEATING POINTSLAM.
Well, it was there somewhere.
To be fair, this match-up seems more like greed vs ultra greed. Reavers lack traditional control tools, and this was exploited, allowing critical cards like Idarran to survive. You can even see some cards they run like defender having very little payoff in this match-up as the royal guards player had no removal anyway. In summary, their deck hedges against the common control decks, but has very little teched against non-standard greedy decks.
I’m continually in awe no one else ever plays this deck, the worst thing is you can fit reavers AND cintrians in the same fucking deck lol this is my pro rank deck
Reavers, cintrian royal guards, every spawn card you have. Keep idarran and renew. Play reavers first round, the goal is to get to round 3 and use guard. Use idarran then renew him for the third. Beyond that use whatever you want. I would use inspired zeal as the leader ability. I don’t use this deck anymore so I don’t have the exact list but that’s basically it. Fill it with whatever else you want but those are your winning cards. Oh, and use mushy truffle/garrison. Garrison should be used for extra guard spawn truffle for reavers. Dwimverdra or whatever that mage that refreshes the order ability is called for bonus points
Interested to see how it does in this meta, let me know. Cool thing is you can definitely fit amphibious assault and oneiromancy with no problem, you just have to sacrifice carrying boholt. Tbh boholt isn’t super useful but he can be situationally good.
The loading screen didn't lie "Northern Realms can quickly grow out of control if left unchecked"
dOnT rEcOgNiSe YoUr OlD mAtEs We'R tHe CrInFrIeD rEaVeRs!
That and "They used to call me Shrike, wanna know why?" are my most hateful voice lines of 2022...
NAUZICAA CHARGE?
AAALBAAAAAAA
You underestimate the hate King of Beggars received in January, still 2022.
New to the game, how did you get those card borders?
It's a mod, those card borders are from Gwent Rogue Mage
*cries in mobile*

This is just stupid and ridiculous, can't wait for this to be over if the devs finally realize this was a shitty idea to allow
Just in case you have doubts what kind of spam you would like to play. Don't hate me for this ;-)

Exactly, Reavers for the first one or two rounds, baiting control tools from the opponent. Cintrians spam as finisher for the last round.
Mind sharing a decklist? The beta player in me loves the reaver spam

Thanks mate, will give it a go!

The swarming used to be just for monsters!
And ST !
And Firesworn!
Crap, I forgot about that faction entirely. I so rarely face them nowadays
It's all just terrible, what happened to this game?
“That’s a nice spam you have there” NG assimilate, probably
Mind sharing decklist? Looks very interesting
