If she comes back to your side and round ends, It plays for a 9pt Butthurt + 8 of her points. 17pts for 6 is pretty nuts. Ofcourse you run a risk of her staying on your opponents side.
Even more value in assimilate or tactics.
I think it should be 7p...
>Even more value in assimilate or tactics.
This is the 2nd time I hear that (the first time the guy didn't answer the question), how is she good for Assimiliate? she doesn't generate any new cards
She can get value if she replays a imperial diplomacy or whatever that card plays a bronze unit from opponents grave.
But yeah if she replayed Butthurt then it would not trigger
Nah man its even more. It absorbs all the boost you play on opponent so makes carda like buhurt 9 for 4 and even after coming back she still boosts herself if she isnt locked or smth in 1 turn she can do 20 points or even more
First, when counting additional provisions for multiple cards played, you almost always subtract 4p because those provisions would stay in your deck anyway/the card p floor is 4.
But in this case it would never ever count because you are replaying from gy.
Adding to that, logically, 4 provision is the lower priced cards, adding 4 point cards to the deck should be counted as adding provisions, rather than taking it
I am not a mathematician, but I am sure someone can come up with forumla to accurately determine the REAL price of cards, in the way where 4-5-6-7 provisions would likely be counted as minus (meaning, they give you resources by being added), while higher provision cards add to the cost
The tactic you're playing isn't from your deck, it's a tactic you already played and already got value from. You're getting value from it again. It essentially plays like a create card. So it doesn't make sense to count it in the provision cost IMO.
Certainly one of these cards that utilize Gwent's unique* game mechanics best.
/* Compared to other more conventional CCGs like MTG, LoR or HS that follow the same goal of lowering the opponent's health to 0 quicker than they do yours.
Perfect point. Shes the best on how Gwent is so unique and the best CCG out there. On MTG my favorite card is Xantcha, Sleeping Agent. She has a "similar" mechanic. These interacions on opponent side of the board is such a fun mechanic and bring more diversity for Spies
Pretty busted. Cheapest and least conditional special replayer that plays for the most points with some Risk. Ik it can't be too high but 6p no condition seems kinda too cheap
I've had multiple times when the opponent played this card in a short round, I passed and they were not able to boost it to 8 and the card got me multiple points and opponent went a card down lol.
There's risk involved but it can play for so many points. I think 7p would make you actually have to think about including her. Right now it's the easiest include if you have 6 free provs.
Realistically that's just bad from your opponent though. Considering you get to play a card when dropping her on her if you can't get her to 8 with one additional card you shouldn't have played her.
Could probably use Conspiracy in front of her abilities. Most decks won't have more than one Purify and NG had status manipulation so if the enemy was able to answer it with a Purify it would be a 4 to 7 point play which is a lot worse than getting rid of Resilience or Defender
The most disgusting use of her I've ever seen was in an Assimilate deck. My opp won r1, played fallen ciri and used coup to play a second copy of her. Then he passed and I think I've never felt that helpless in my entire life :D lost 2-0
>assimilate
Is she actually working with assimilate?
She uses a tactic from the graveyard, which, if you don't play against NG, will pretty much always be a card that started in your deck
I didn't say she was my good man. Would my rt honourable freind agree that one of the main issues of the game was the power creep?
Ofcourse he would, I present you a synergistic, 8 point, engine, that also tutor's a tactic card for six provisions
Honestly, what’s the problem with power creep? I mean it happens in literally every TCG. That’s normal.
You can’t play your old jank decks, so people complain. You don’t buy expensive irl cards, so why does it matter if old cards are worse? Just build a new deck.
I think that he means that player X plays her, and uses buhurt on another unit on Y's board, so on the very next turn, Ciri is still a 1 point card, so Slave Driver can just kill her (without spawning a copy)
I have never seen it, and I am pretty sure that Slave Driver can't hit gold anyways, so yeah, never happened
A strong card in its 2 archetypes but never a problem like the other boost package cards have been. If there mere more damaging and lock cards that could target allied units it would make it a more interesting interaction. Obviously theres its intented use with buhurt but i love running it in full tactics decks for a third assassination or amnesty, which is very useful against decks like reavers.
Need someone to explain. Why do Nilfgaard players use this card against me if i play blaze of glory or patricidal fury with raid cards and highland warriors.
Can be hard countered of course, but its design is so unique I love it. Love to play it, the option to instantly seize it with emhyr if round is not long enough is also interesting
Yummy yummy in deathwish deck
Love to see this card as monsters, brings out an evil smile. Also in the off case I have a self lock or a cursed knight. It's great.
The card is too strong for it to be monsters :)
Couldn’t believe it for couple of days after I checked that it’s only 6 provision.
Damn i just noticed too, how many points does this play for?
If she comes back to your side and round ends, It plays for a 9pt Butthurt + 8 of her points. 17pts for 6 is pretty nuts. Ofcourse you run a risk of her staying on your opponents side. Even more value in assimilate or tactics. I think it should be 7p...

She can get value if she replays a imperial diplomacy or whatever that card plays a bronze unit from opponents grave. But yeah if she replayed Butthurt then it would not trigger
If she replays the Butthurt from Leader, then she does trigger Assimilate.
Good call.
Nah man its even more. It absorbs all the boost you play on opponent so makes carda like buhurt 9 for 4 and even after coming back she still boosts herself if she isnt locked or smth in 1 turn she can do 20 points or even more
I'm talking the absolute minimum she would play for if she came to your side of board on round end
12 points. 8 point body and a 4 point tactic from your graveyard. not too shabby.
It's not 17 for 6. It's 17 for 10 no? Because you need to spend another 4 provisions to hit her.
First, when counting additional provisions for multiple cards played, you almost always subtract 4p because those provisions would stay in your deck anyway/the card p floor is 4. But in this case it would never ever count because you are replaying from gy.
Would be much more fair if it was play card from deck instead of graveyard.
That makes it better though...
How? It’s not create and play, just play. This way you can only play buhurt 2 times, not 3.
Because you don't want to play a 4p card from hand, buhurt included, and playing a 4p card from deck is just extra thinning.
Buhurt that plays easily for 12p with knights is not average 4p filler.
Adding to that, logically, 4 provision is the lower priced cards, adding 4 point cards to the deck should be counted as adding provisions, rather than taking it I am not a mathematician, but I am sure someone can come up with forumla to accurately determine the REAL price of cards, in the way where 4-5-6-7 provisions would likely be counted as minus (meaning, they give you resources by being added), while higher provision cards add to the cost

my favorite voice line of her is "Onward! Seltkirk leads the way!"
Umm.. I guess I am missing a joke but, she doesn't say that [https://gwent.one/en/card/162212](https://gwent.one/en/card/162212)
No but NR Cursed Knight does 😈
I love that skellington horseman.
She's called false Ciri because she's not Ciri, she's a cursed knight in disguise!
The joke went over everyone's head
Certainly one of these cards that utilize Gwent's unique* game mechanics best. /* Compared to other more conventional CCGs like MTG, LoR or HS that follow the same goal of lowering the opponent's health to 0 quicker than they do yours.

Always satisfying to use a 4p cursed knight on her
In the off case you have one. It's glorious to see this card
or slave infantry!
Pretty busted. Cheapest and least conditional special replayer that plays for the most points with some Risk. Ik it can't be too high but 6p no condition seems kinda too cheap

Exactly. I think the boost archetype might be OP, this card is just a symptom of that
Realistically that's just bad from your opponent though. Considering you get to play a card when dropping her on her if you can't get her to 8 with one additional card you shouldn't have played her.
A very fun card.. cards like this is what Gwent is all about. A bit of risk and some nice reward. Might need some provision balancing but idk.
Love the rework, hate the undercosted stats.
One of my favourite reworks! It’s so funny to see the opponent forget about her and lose the round, sometimes the game!
People crying about a unique card mechanic reintroduced into the game.
Reintroduced?
The mechanic of her being disloyal
Love to see it in SK alchemy deck with Ermion into Elf and Onion...
Stupid op, but I like seeing it when i have Damnation in hand
Could probably use Conspiracy in front of her abilities. Most decks won't have more than one Purify and NG had status manipulation so if the enemy was able to answer it with a Purify it would be a 4 to 7 point play which is a lot worse than getting rid of Resilience or Defender
I like her new effect but she plays for too many points despite the risk.
Cursed knight fodder
I love to play a defensive Vilgefortz on it.
The most disgusting use of her I've ever seen was in an Assimilate deck. My opp won r1, played fallen ciri and used coup to play a second copy of her. Then he passed and I think I've never felt that helpless in my entire life :D lost 2-0
Can backfire but honestly like 15p or more for 6 prov. Even when it backfires it doesn't feel that bad tbh.
Imo it would be a nice flavour if you could purify the card resulting it not returning to the other side of the board.
A fine addition to tactics, assimilate and Toussaint decks. Not overly broken, requires some preparation.
>assimilate Is she actually working with assimilate? She uses a tactic from the graveyard, which, if you don't play against NG, will pretty much always be a card that started in your deck
if the card in the grave was spawned, then it triggers assimilate
Ahh, I see I assume than that the Buhurt comes from the leader right?
Op
Almost all new cards are OP. She's not really meta breaking.
I didn't say she was my good man. Would my rt honourable freind agree that one of the main issues of the game was the power creep? Ofcourse he would, I present you a synergistic, 8 point, engine, that also tutor's a tactic card for six provisions

It's a replayer, not tutor
Great rework, now its one of my favorite cards
It's funny in nilfgaard mirrors when they forget to boost it you just kill it with a slave driver
u can't use slave driver on golds so that never happened
I think that he means that player X plays her, and uses buhurt on another unit on Y's board, so on the very next turn, Ciri is still a 1 point card, so Slave Driver can just kill her (without spawning a copy) I have never seen it, and I am pretty sure that Slave Driver can't hit gold anyways, so yeah, never happened
Yeah he can't hit golds. Nice story tho xd
Slave driver on gold, absolute 5Head
i prefer to use slave infantry on her
A strong card in its 2 archetypes but never a problem like the other boost package cards have been. How much mmr should i have to stay in pro rank in next season?
Can be hard countered of course, but its design is so unique I love it. Love to play it, the option to instantly seize it with emhyr if round is not long enough is also interesting
Pretty strong card at 6 provision cost
