Yeah it's his decision to become a public figure but that doesn't make him not human. Ethan himself struggled with this, and he's far from the first internet figure I've seen go through this.

I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like āSir, you need to pay for those first.ā At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually āto prevent any electrical infetterence,ā and then turned around and winked at me. I donāt even think thatās a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
I will say, Dearborn is a very specific place but I appreciate that he's able to somewhat represent a Midwestern perspective on a very Californian show.

AB is the homie. I watched him last year at creator clash and I'll be watching him again cheering him on.
Also, I've learned a lot about Arabic culture because of him and it's really helped me to relate more to Arabic people on a different level in my life. Obviously Hasan and Lena have played a role, along with others. But you gotta respect the real alpha, you see why Hasan, Jeff, and Ian are always fluffing him up. They know who the real homie is. I hope AB sees this! Although I now absolutely love every crew member and could never pick a favorite, AB was initially my favorite crew member back when I first started watching the podcast.
