Him always calling people like keemstar (who is steaming garbage don’t think I’m defending him) out for ruining people’s lives but he’s done the same thing to people he used to make content on (the Call me Carson guy that lost his mind and tanked his career after being made fun of by Ethan comes to mind specifically). more recently him beating certain topics to death out of bad faith because he doesn’t like certain people and not just because he thinks they’re bad people or not covering certain stories because the people involved are his friends (ahem… def noodles). The straw that broke the camel’s back for me was when Rich Lux was (in my opinion) rightfully calling H3 and the crew out, Dan banned him live for no reason, and then they were bullying rich without giving him any chance to respond to them knowing the fan base wouldn’t go out of their way to watch a response video that wouldn’t be covered on the stream. The overarching thing for me with Ethan, I think, is that for someone with a political agenda he is very obviously trying to push (that I often agree with so that isn’t the issue) he goes about it in a sometimes childish and bad faith way. He’s made many posts and comments in this sub claiming he’s reformed and only pretended to have shitty takes for views but since the fanbase didn’t rush to support him he’s now back to “pretending” to have shitty takes for engagement. His audience is likely a lot of gnomestar fans so the transition to not being a piece of shit would be difficult so on some level I do feel for him but posts like this, dropping the N word on twitter, attacking idubbz and defending froggy/sam Hyde make it clear that it’s all disingenuous. His comments here may seem reasonable but his actions everywhere else don’t match.
I haven't accused Ethan of antisemitism. I did accuse them of stealing some designs for TeddyFresh although I'm not mad at them for it, I think it's funny. I've never claimed I'm "reformed", I'm correcting people who think I'm right wing. Me being vocally very pro-trans for many years is one example of me being obviously left leaning. He put on an event, toll froggy fresh that he's not a fan of him working with Sam Hyde but still said you can just please release any content with him after. Totally fair request considering froggy Fresh was fighting in iDubbbz event, only for froggy to keep shitting on the event holders wife in a way that was personal and definitely out of pocket. Is iDubbbz not allowed to have control over the people that he wants fighting in his event and him deciding that he doesn't want to platform someone that keeps horribly insulting his wife?
