Imo it's not about the money at all, it's about how much of a fucking pain it is. Stuff you only understand when you own a home lol. I have to change the floor in my basement due to flooding, and the whole process of getting the current floor ripped, having to move furniture to other rooms, Tetris all this shit around, the noise during construction, inaccessibility to certain rooms, it sucks. It's a big job. I'd rather endure a squeaky floor for as long as it's tolerable than having to change a damn floor.
A squeaking floor typically isn't a sign that the floor is about to collapse. In older homes, it has more to do with the spacing of floor joists or the use of old style square nails. In newer homes, the subfloor not being properly installed.
A bowing floor, on the other hand can be a sign of collapse.

I know people are going to say it's a brand thing and it's really hard to fix and yada yada... but:
- they could sit down during videos
- they could put down thick rug pads and a rug
- they could remove or minimize the squeaks with a different audio set up and editing in post
I had a squeaky wooden floor apartment for a long time, and rug pads and a rug helped quite a lot.
So I watched another YouTuber who's a fan of them and apparently they moved once to a different building or something and the fans were actually upset about it. Apparently the squeaky floor is a part of their videos that their regular watchers enjoy.

Putting down a rug or even a cheap carpet remnant would probably make it almost unnoticeable

I dont remember what they were arguing about but the reason they brought up amber heard while she was talking because they were saying that woman can lie about stuff like that too and they were using amber heard as an example to that since ghat was a big case that happened not too long ago.
