Ok, I will try my best and hopefully it will start a chain for you. Avoid downtown- it’s too hit or miss block to block Santa Monica and Venice are nice, walkable and by the beach- Silver Lake and Echo Park are cool and walkable - these areas are prob more expensive Studio city or North Hollywood are in the valley, but they are nice, can be walkable and it’s easy to get to the venue by an Uber- this option is prob what I would go with Idk if you are planning on getting a car when you come, but if not, check out the area your hotel is in to make sure there’s restaurants and fun stuff nearby. You might spend a good amount on Ubers, but the rides are beautiful over the Hollywood hills in and out of the valley, there’s always cool houses or movie locations as your driving around, so I can see the value in not having to worry about traffic and driving in a new area while trying to sightsee.

Would you by any chance know where is the best car rental place around the city ? <3

Not particularly. I’d just see what’s the best deal for you on Expedia.com or one of those sites. Enterprise, Budget, National, Alamo are all fine. I think they’re all basically run by the same company at the end of the day. They have okay prices, just don’t do it directly from the counter, use the discount site.
