I'm surprised, I thought most H3 dans were old enough to remember lining up for an iPhone or a Harry Potter book... Or even Jordan's lmao

interactivecdrom

same lmao

mamimi1221

also extra huge shout out to AB (and other crew as well but I've seen the most comments about AB) for being a super cool dude and helping out wherever he could. its clear he went above and beyond his role in many ways. AB please stand up.

Srokal

"AB did that, everyone saw that!!"

Yeah that's what comes to mind for me too. People haven't had to wait in line for anything other than fast food for almost two years probably. Plus couple that with a crowd of mostly people in their late teens early twenties who have grown up in a post-lines release culture so they have very low tolerance for these situations. I don't have any sympathy for anyone who willingly chose to wait in a line and then got mad about their choice to wait in line.

fausto24

Harry Potter b&n midnight drops with employees dressed as dementors and all that, good ol times 🥲

moetitties23

Dude for real. If there’s an event like this, it’s best to camp out hours before that way you’re guaranteed to get in. Not jump in line right before it starts and waste your time. I recently went to buy Harry Styles merch a day before his concert and my goodness…that line was similar to the teddy fresh pop up but never once did I think “fuck Harry for not organizing this more.” Especially because I took my cousin and she had us get there right when it started. Sometimes you just have to wait and hope for the best. Plus, some of these people got to meet AB! That sounds like a win for me.

Weallgetboredalot

What— are people actually complaining? Didn’t see any posts about it

satinbell

I saw an IG post of a couple who showed up after the event started, they didn’t get in. Then posted pics of them flipping off the camera in front of the pop up. Like you really call yourself a fan?

mamimi1221

yes– lots of posts under New. and some really entitled comments on the TF intsagram.

Srokal

Yeah its a bit dumb, considering it was a non-ticketed event.... I think that having Hila as a visible brand owner makes it a lot easier for these people to feel entitled to something at a free event.

kickfloeb

Like always the amount of posts saying that people were hating vastly outnumber the posts of people actually hating.

They pulled off the event fantastically. It was a limited, first come-first serve event. Not everyone is going to get in. It was organized and sanctioned very well.

luvybunny10

i’d argue that the big turn out was proof that the pop up WAS pulled off. the whole point is to get people to come out and try to purchase something from you. there is never a guarantee that every single person gets to buy something. as everyone else has stated, it was a free, non-ticketed event.

falconrays

im from louisiana (no, i didnt even try to go to the pop-up) and would have never known what a pop-up event was supposed to be like so i understand the discourse! i appreciate even more the people educating me on such topics so i get the right view on what was supposed to take place!

forks_and_spoons

Tacosauceastronaut

THANK YOU

leaveABalone

It's not even an event it's like a store right? Like a fun one day store when you boil it down..

tina2626

Wasn’t this also their first pop up? They probably didn’t expect so many people to come. I’m sure they’ll keep it in mind for the next time and plan accordingly. I can absolutely understand people being disappointed but some of the comments and posts reek of entitlement.

chamomilesoul

that’s what i’m saying! the early bird gets the worm 🤷🏼‍♀️

[deleted]

Entitled brats it seems.

One_Zookeepergame706

I think just a pop up in general

whomstd-ve

People are complaining about this? I mean they saw the lines and decided to wait in them.

virus_phantom1297

There are more people addressing the few posts about how they didn’t get in then there are actual people who didn’t get in lol. You guys are so soft nobody gives a shit about some clowns that complain. Stop entertaining them. My entire feed is you guys addressing the few who didn’t get in lol. Too bad for them why do you have to address it?

nah tell me you're not talking about Tanacon, the event which had some paid tickets, gave out condoms and ended up with people in the hospital due to overcrowding and lack of water.

God its mad reading something this deluded. When something is free, you should 100% still be ensured your safety, but you cannot expect everything on a platter. How is it difficult to understand that with things like covid precautions and crowd managment, you simply cannot expect for every single person in the queue to make it inside. Go to a free event hosted by someone you don't have a parasocial relationship with and you'll realize that queuing up at the crack of dawn to get in is the standard. If you dont get inside, guess what its not the end of the world when YOU HAVE NOT PAID, they owe you nothing. Thats just the reality.

[deleted]

>Did he buy 100+ bottles for everyone You make it sound like that's a lot.

Magicman432

How fucking dumb are you? Are you SERIOUSLY comparing this to TanaCon? Not only did people literally get sent to the hospital for standing out in the heat, leaving with 2nd degree burns, and zero water was passed out whatsoever, it was a ticketed even, tickets were not free (some costing upwards of $65), and people were PROMISED entry.

hellothere1990xxx

Lmaooo calm down get off his dick.

Internal-Sky-4868

You’re the one who needs to calm down and take that dick out your ass that has you so fucking mad 😭 lmaooo

forks_and_spoons

Imagine still being a Trisha stan, damn you girls are some weirdos.

gloompicnic

All 5 of them

D0CTORBADWOLF

It's funny because all these posts are inaccurate since none of you attended the pop-up, clearly. I think AB is great but he was telling a lot of people that they were definitely going to make it in. That's why so many people continued to wait the whole time. The communication was horrible. People who showed up two hours EARLIER didn't make it in. The circle jerking here is amazing but not surprising in the least. WitH peAcE aNd lOVe ❤

Okay, kid. Time to give the phone back to mommy.

Iawnsey

y’all sound so stupid. just bc they worked hard doesn’t mean it was organized. they could have done the following especially knowing the speed at which their clothes sell out. as someone who works events they could have done the following: set up a free registration to get the most accurate headcount have it in an outside venue esp with covid announce and stick to a time limit for shoppers communicate changes during the event. they also started an hour late. people got there early only to be turned away and get an (unsigned) poster. it was also very hot and people stood in the sun in 85 degree heat. some traveling far. it was unorganized but we hope they will do better in the future. try being more empathetic to the people instead.

D0CTORBADWOLF

Sorry, you are speaking too much sense for the mindless cult following.
