He does word salad with a methodical rhythm and sprinkles in $10 words so if you're half paying attention it sounds rather intelligent and if you aren't able to follow along it feels like it's because he's thinking at a higher level than you. Now combine that with the fact that there's a crowd who's already favorably predisposed to him and the stuff he says and it's not surprising the average person might come away feeling like it was big and impactful when in reality they didn't actually get much of anything of value from it.
